Place was great. The only 2 things to point out for future renters are, no elevator makes it tough to walk up after a long day and of course hauling the luggage. Also the bathroom is very small. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had no issues. Location is perfect and central to all shopping and restaurants.

I loved the location, and AC but , I’m not sure I would stay here again. Yes, the place is located in an old building, but we felt like it could have been cleaner. Bathroom sink/door etc. Bedding and linens were clean, extra duvet and pillows if needed, a bed made up for our kid in a playpen, but the couch and carpet 100% need a deep clean. A few mentions: The bean bag was leaking beans, the coffee pods displayed on the machine didn’t fit, there were no dish cloths/empty dish soap etc. Location was perfect, but because we had a rental car to park at the garage nearby we had to pull up around the corner in a. Taxi zone with our blinkers on (in ZTL area) walk 5 minutes to the location and then up the stairs. Again, you cannot beat the location.

The apartment is in good location, 2 mins away from Duomo, restaurants around but if you bring heaby luggages, be ready to carry all the way up through stairways. No lift available. Overall is a nice location.

The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and matched the photos. Excellent location! It was an easy walk to main attractions. The host was communicative and the check-in process was smooth. The biggest downside is the noise level. The street below is very busy, even late at night or early morning. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. I'd recommend this place for travelers who prioritize location and aren't bothered by noise.

A great stay!!! Incredible location. Basically everything was provided that could be needed. A crib wasn’t in the loft but when I ask, she had one there in less than 30 minutes!! Very kind and friendly. We would most definitely consider staying here again. There are a lot of stairs (with 2 young kids) but we were aware of that before we booked. It gave such a typical Italian vibe. My only complaint would have been the rails of the upstairs made me a little nervous of my kids falling through since they are so young. Overall though, incredible stay. We would recommend this place. 10/10 experience.

It is very clean and comfortable, the location is very convenient, and there is a high-value steak restaurant downstairs.But there are two things to note: 1. The house is on the fourth floor of the top floor, and the stairs are steep, and it is not convenient for multiple suitcases or suitcases; 2. The lock of the B&B is bad, the door is closed well, and the host explains that it is to use the key to lock it, but I don't think it is.

An absolute MUST if you visit Florence. It is 1 block (1 min) from piazza Duomo and tons of fabulous restaurants. 3 min from the market. You can easily get to ANYTHING. Heads up, there are 5-6 flights of stairs to climb to and from room. Maybe a struggle with luggage but easy for us. Wonderful communication from host and room was as expected. Thanks for the welcome bottle of Chianti wine :) I would 100% sty here again. Views of top of Duomo dome and clock tower from room too! Famous statehouse Osteria Dell’Oste is literally right outside door downstairs.

The flat is in a very central location. It has a warm artmosphere. The design of the flat is functional. You can find all the necessary utensils and small kitchen apparatus at home. The place and the textiles were clean. All the facilities (hot water, electricity, air-conditioner) worked properly. The owner was a responsive host. We loved our stay in this place. The only thing that annoyed us is the noise that came from the city early in the morning . If you dont mind this, dont miss the opportunity.

Everything was great Perfect location , near the cathedral. Few things we didnt like, no elevator, lots of stairs (we had knee problem) , and we couldnt make the tv work but nevertheless it is a GEM if you want something in the heart of Florence. It was spacious , & warm at all times. Hot water as well

Highly recommended! We had a lovely stay at this prime location apartment. The place was pristine - super clean, fresh bed linen and towels. Self check in went smoothly. It's obviously a bit noisy because welcome to the heart of the city, but you do get to blackout the windows with wooden panels. The complimentary wine was a nice touch although I would have preferred coffee capsules for the machine. Maybe that's on purpose cause the cafe's around the apartment serve the best coffee in the world.

The apartment was in a central location, which made for an enjoyable stay. It did look like the photos, however it wasn't as nice as I had expected based on photos and the description. The front door to the building did not lock, but there was a gate on the floor above street level which locked. So, the apartment was safe, however the listing and check in instructions did imply the the door on the street level locked. Overall it was a convenient and nice enough stay.

It is a very busy area so there is some noise at night but the location is so close to everything it is totally worth it. We loved our night in Florence and can’t wait to go back!

Be aware that there is no lift, the apartment is up 8 flight of stairs, and the bathroom and bed in the apartment are also up a flight of stairs. However the House was in an excellent location and checkin was easy, was a nice stay.

Wonderful place to stay, super cute and comfy apartment. Around the corner from the Duomo and very centrally located for all you want to do in Florence. The bed was pretty firm but not uncomfortable. The shower (and bathroom) is very small, but great water pressure and temperature. Would stay here again :)

We loved our stay here! Very close to a lot of the attractions we wanted to see, walking distance to nearly everything in Florence. There were a ton of surrounding restaurants, grocery store, etc. so we could always get what we needed. The space is cute and clean, do keep in mind it is 6 flights up with no stairs but we didn't mind. Would recommend staying here!

Location is perfect! The building itself was very loud with parties going on in the neighboring units. The furniture was uncomfortable at best - both the couch & the bed. If you're looking for a quick spot to crash in a central spot - this place is perfect. If you're looking for something comfortable to enjoy for more than a day or two it didn't really meet our expectations.

This was our first time in Florence and truly a perfect getaway! The apartment is in an ideal location, so clean, comfortable, and we felt right at home. We were able to walk to the major sites with no issue and there were fabulous restaurants nearby. Thank you again!

The apartment is actually very convenient from a logistics point of view. However, the area is quite noisy at night, the apartment is difficult to reach because it is on the top floor of a building that has a rather steep staircase, the entrance door is in poor condition, but above all the sofa bed for the third guest was during our unusable stay because it is very dirty, with animal hair and pans. Faced with my complaints, the only answer I got is that cleaning would be done for the next guest. Too bad I paid for three people and we had to sleep in three in a bed of two. Although I have submitted documented photographs to the host where I was showing the situation, I have not even had the satisfaction of receiving a courtesy message. Really disappointing.

The place is very nice and greatly located right next to the city center. It felt safe and we could get there quickly. Two small downsides are that the apartment is badly isolated so in winter it’s a bit cold (but ok do not worry) and you hear a lot of the noise of the outside. But, curiously, I was not disturbed by the it. Overall, a great place to stay, very worthy of its price.

Just want to negate some of the bad reviews here. Absolutely 0 smoke smell. Bed was comfortable. Location: Can't really ask for a better location! Even on a busy street, the nighttime noise wasn't bad at all. Plus the blackout blinds was a huge plus. Apartment: Stairs up the apartment wasn't bad at all. Don't recommend for the physically challenged though. Kitchen had everything you need to make your daily cafe. Couch and TV got the job done. Washer worked well. Note there is no dryer so you must hang dry. Bed was comfortable. Ample closet space. Bathroom a bit small but got the job done. Water pressure good, hot water good. Strong toilet flush. The shower door is accordion style so be sure to set it up in a way that the water doesn't spill out to the floor. I made that mistake! 10/10 would recommend and stay here again.

Pros: Amazing location! Apartment is also very quiet despite being in a busy location. Apartment is very spacious with lots of room to spread out. Hosts are very accommodating and provide great communicate. Cons: Apartment is on the 4th floor of a walk up, which can be a bit steep especially with heavy bags. Shower is also very tiny.

Very nice pied a terre in Florence, just a few meters from the Dome. The apartment is nicely decorated and clean. The communication with Alex is excellent. The apartment is on the top floor of the building (with nice wall paintings in the hallway) so if you have trouble climbing stairs, this is not for you, but otherwise I would really recommend this apartement.

It was a perfect place to stay for our first time in Florence as you’re in the thick of the hustle and bustle around the Duomo. The place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed! They also provided great recommendations, advice, and insight in their booklet at the Airbnb. 10/10!

We have stayed in great AIRBNBs, and also in some not so great ones. This one was disappointing. To begin with the positives, if you value location over anything/ everything else- this rental will work for you, it is an incredible location, but then again Florence is extremely walkable! Check in was very easy and we have Francesca to thank for that. We really appreciated being able to drop our luggage off early. The windows in the space are beautiful and we loved hearing the bells everyday. :) In terms of comfort, the apartment is lacking with room for much improvement. The AC needs to be replaced and there is discoloration on the wall underneath it. Nothing about this rental was comfortable, not the couch (hard and stained), nor the bed, not even the bath towels (scratchy and you are given no extra). The rental is situated on the top floor of the building, the listing states as such, but after a long day of exploring the city, climbing 7 flights of stairs and one more in the rental to get to the bathroom was something we tired of quickly. All of our time was essentially spent in the upper loft as the couch and downstairs living space both leave a lot to be desired. My biggest issue was as soon as we entered the rental it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke- we were greeted with that smell every time we came home and then again when we used the bathroom. This rental has a perpetual smell of smoke. That was mentioned by another reviewer and we had hoped it had been remedied but unfortunately professional cleaning is needed. A note on cleanliness in general- the coffee maker and top of the microwave had dust/ hair on it, we wiped it down before using and wondered how that was missed if cleaners were there before our check in? Lastly, the listing states a bottle of wine will be provided, we did not receive one. If you stay here, you’ll have the bare minimum in terms of comfort, toilet paper, and shower towels- but the location makes it somewhat more tolerable. Overall, we would not recommend this stay.

I stayed here with my husband and infant daughter (8 months). Amazing location, really easy to get to all of the key sights. Francesca was easy to communicate with & was very quick to remediate an issue with the shower (clogged drain). We didn’t have hot water in the shower on a couple of mornings; it was at the end of our trip so we didn’t bring it up, and it’s possible it could have been remedied if we had. 6 flights of stairs were difficult with a child and generally the space is pretty tight. Great for a couple, would not recommend for more than that. Also, we parked at the nearby Giglio garage at the host’s recommendation. Paid in advance, convenient, and (hopefully) avoided any ZTL issues. We had a Tesla and they said they could charge it, though we didn’t try it.

Nice apartment in the center of Florence. On a busy street but quiet at night. Close walk to the train station which would make it easy to take day trips. Communication with check in could have been better. The AC unit works well enough in the apartment. There is a washing machine but detergent is not provided. The TV is not a smart TV and doesn’t have cable, wasn’t a big deal for us but would have been nice to have at night. Overall it was a nice stay, kind of expensive for what it is though.

Top floor apartment, view was great; got to see the top of the duomo, and also the busy street below. The loft felt very spacious and was comfortable. Location is great too, short walk from everything you could ever want. Also, Francesca helped us out of a crisis in the middle of the night like it was nothing, she is extremely helpful! Unbeatable location within a stone's throw of the Dome. Great ambiance with an incredibly comfortable bed and a great shower (despite its small size). AC was struggling but it was also about 100 degrees and you're about five flights up so anyone with large luggage might find it challenging, but nothing the landlord can do about that. Overall, great value.

We really enjoyed our time in Florence. The AirBnb is literally around the corner from from The Duomo and surrounded by landmarks, restaurants, shops etc. it is right in the heart of everything. The apartment is a couple stories up so be prepared for stairs. You can see the top of the Duomo from your window.

This charming apartment in the absolute center of Florence was amazing. As they say, 'location, location, location'. The first morning, we arose and walked around the first corner to be met with the Duomo right there in the square. You can not be closer to the action, cafes, restaurants, and shopping. You will be hiking up several floors with your suitcases, but once you get up there, you're set. The air conditioner was great and kept us cool during a heatwave in Florence. We particularly appreciated the washing machine and the ability to catch up on some laundry. Our host made check in easy; even though we had a delay at the airport, we were able to access remotely. If you're staying in Florence you really want to consider this charming apartment as it will make accessing many of the famous sites, museums and galleries that much easier...then simply home while catching dinner on the way. If you prefer to dine in, market, Pharmacy etc. rightat your doorstep.

This apartment is very centrally located in Florence. It was very clean and had great access to the city. It is located on a very busy street that had a supermarket next door, which was convenient. The host was very accommodating by supplying a full length mirror for us, which was helpful as we were doing dress fittings for a wedding. One thing to keep in mind is there are a lot of stairs to reach the unit if you are coming with a lot of luggage. Also, the bathroom is quite small. Overall it was a nice stay in a beautiful city!

My fiance and I recently stayed in Florence for about a week and we loved this apartment! The apartment looks just like the pictures posted and Francesca is very responsive. The location is fantastic! The apartment is within walking distance of all of the main attractions (you can see the Duomo from the window), there are a ton of food options in the neighborhood, and there is a grocery store just a few doors down. During the evenings there was live music that we could hear from the apartment (which we loved), however, it was not too noisy at night. One thing to be aware of is that you have to climb up quite a few stairs to reach the apartment. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Florence.

While there are a lot of stairs to climb, you are greeted by a cute story condo at the end! We loved having a living room, space to dry the clothes we washed, and a separate bedroom area with a large closet. Seeing part of the duomo from the large windows was great in the evening as we relaxed and having a grocery store a few doors down was incredibly convenient. I felt safe on the street at all times and would for sure stay again on a future trip. As we went in winter, you definitely felt the heat of the lower floors which was sometimes uncomfortable. You need to like bells as the bell tower chimes quite a bit. The only thing that was a bummer was the size/configuration of the shower. It was quite small and the shower head doesn’t really have a good position to sit in where you don’t get at least some water on the floor.

We loved our stay here once we found the place which was a bit of a challenge. It might be easier to use the names of the restaurants nearby to give your taxi driver to get there! The Airbnb was located in such a walkable place. The rooms were cozy and well heated for the winter. Everything we needed was there :) all in all great stay, I would recommend it!

The loft is beautiful, very thoughtfully decorated and easily gives the feeling of “home”. It is perfect for 1 or 2 people. The location is amazing…it is right in the heart of Florence…which makes walking to everything so easy. Even though the streets below are lined with cafes, restaurants and shops…it is a very quiet apartment. Outstanding authentic dining and shopping experiences are right out your front door…and it’s very near the Duomo cathedral, Uffizi museum and the Ponte Vechio Bridge. I’d absolutely recommend staying here!

apartment located in the center next to the Dome. 5 levels of stairs to climb so you have to be fit. good welcome. faithful description and photos too. the street remains very noisy despite everything and you can hear everything from the apartment.

Really close location to the Duomo. Right in the middle of everything you need. The noise was extremely loud from the streets all night long and made it very difficult to sleep throughout our stay. Also had some stains on our blankets from previous guests. I did reach out to get new blankets but did not here back from the host.

Great location!! Just literally a minute away from the center. The apartment was very nice and literally everything is there. The bed was soooo comfortable, big for 2 people to not bump into each other at night andddd the biggest thing it didn't move/shake when you are turning and twisting. The only tiny things to take into consideration are: 1) the apartment was on the 3rd floor (stairs only). 2) since it is almost the center with some restaurants below, it can get a little noisy but nothing that cant be fixed with ear plugs. 3) the shower is decent sized. If you are a biiigg person then it might get a bit restricting. If above 3 points are not a concern for you then it will be perfect!

Great apartment with insanely good location. Beautiful as well with giant windows. Slightly too noisy on the street level and the bathroom needs quite a bit of work (shower doesn't drain and water leaks out), and check in communication wasn't the best, but other than that a great stay and would recommend! Very comfortable and well located.

The apartment was not the one I booked through the listing, the hosts said the AC was broken in the one I booked and they put me in another. I paid for a nicer apartment then what I got. Scott and Daniele's place is a really homey and beautiful apartment. It was well lit and very clean, conveniently located next to the Duomo and few blocks from the station, restaurants below and very near shopping area. In short, it's the perfect area because it's central. There's a nice view from the window in the morning as a plus. I definitely recommend staying here as the hosts are quite responsive and helpful when I need or have questions. This definitely made my Florence trip a memorable one.

We’ve just returned from our 1st wedding anniversary trip to Florence and stayed at Scott’s. It was wonderfully central apartment right in the heart of Florence within walking distance of all attractions. The cathedral, Uffizi Gallery, Boboli Gardens are an easy 10-15 m walk. Apt is located above shops so all amenities (and gelato!) like supermarket, restaurants, shopping within easy reach. You don’t hear the noise from the outside being on the top floor. Please note there is no elevator for those with mobility issues. Scott was quick to reply, and super helpful!

Very good location close to the Duomo, excellent for all visits in Florence. Scott is available for text message. Well decorated apartment with good addresses. A few adjustments may need to lack of lighting at the top that has not been repaired or repaired during our stay. Otherwise perfectly clean and functional accommodation, we highly recommend it! Beautiful decor too! Going so much!

The apartment is in the heart of Florence. Very convenient within walking distance of all attractions. The farthest distance is Michelangelo Square, we went slowly in 20 minutes. The apartment is very cozy, clean. We were in the winter when the heating was immediately turned on and the heating was very comfortable! Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. There is everything you need for cooking. Salt, oil, tea, sugar. The host left a gift for us - wine, chocolate! I recommend to everyone!

We were in Florence for 2 days and wanted to stay in Duomo. Scott’s Place is in the heart of Duomo, which made walking to all of the sites easy. We drove from Siena and were helped with finding a parking garage to store the car. Check-in was easy, though be ready to walk a few flights of stairs. Would love to stay again!

Super central location, stylish place, great coffee and super easy host to communicate with!! .They also had some great local tips which added to our agenda and we loved every One of them! It’s on a super busy street and can be noisy but keeping the windows and curtains closed helped make it quiet in the apartment for sleeping. My husband and I felt the bed was uncomfortable for our liking but we managed. Thank you Scott for hosting us!

Superb location. The apartment was just as shown in the listing. Scott and his host Daniele were great in communicating. They also gave me a great list of recommendations for my stay. Everything you would want to see and eat is within walking distance of the apartment. The only thing I would say, is if you are early With bed time it may not be the best place as the apartment sits above a restaurant and local bar and could get a little noisy. I didn’t have an issue but definitely something to consider if you prefer absolute silence after 11pm.

Had a wonderful time staying at Scott’s place in Florence. The location was superb. It was in the middle of the city, which can get super touristy, but we also found some fun gems for eating and drinking and had an all-around great time site-seeing. It’s close to everything in central Florence that you’d want to see, including (for example) the Duomo, the Uffizi, and the Galleria dell’Academia. The space is a nice loft with high ceilings, stylish decor, a washing machine (!!!!!) and a thoughtful welcome bottle of Chianti. Scott and his associates were in contact with us whenever we needed. Also, there was a view of the Duomo from our window, which was great. Highly recommend.

This apartment was perfect. The only challenging thing was the steps but they made it all worth it for the view, location and hospitality. What an amazing location! Centrally located in the heart of Duomo, it was pretty much walking distance to everything. The loft is beautiful- stylishly decorated And incredibly clean. It had all amenities including coffee machine, microwave, and laundry washing machine. The building doesn’t have an elevator, and the unit is on the top most floor- so you have to go up almost seven flights of stairs, but for some reason that really didn’t bother us, especially with all the walking we had already been doing as tourists. The hosts were very welcoming. Definitely a great place to stay!!!
