This lovely apartment is a great base for family and friends for both summer and winter holidays, with quick access to the Les Houches ski lifts and incredible hikes on your doorstep.
THE Building :
A couple or family looking for a tranquil stay in the foothills of Les Houches. Ideal for 4 with additional sleeping for up to 2 people. Located a quick 10 minute drive from the centre of Chamonix and its bars, restaurants and shops. This lovely apartment is a great base for family and friends for both summer and winter holidays, with quick access to the Les Houches ski lifts and incredible hikes on your doorstep.
THE Building :
Your accommodation is a ground floor chalet style apartment with its own garden, set within a small complex of holiday accommodations in a beautiful location.
INSIDE :
This self contained property has classic alpine décor with wood panelling, double height lounge and stylish windows. As you enter you will find the master bedroom and ensuite shower/ Wc to the right and the children's bunk room to the left. The family bathroom is next on the left hand side. The kitchen diner and living space encompasses the rest of the apartment. There are patio doors to the garden area and decking with Bbq and seating.
There are two bedrooms, one double bed room and one bunk bedroom (bed size 190cm X 80cm)) plus extra sleeping arrangements in the communal area if you need to sleep a couple more.
Bathroom facilities include a shower room with a sink and Wc, and an extra Wc off the double bedroom with a washbasin.
OUTSIDE :
The outside offers you a private green space to relax and enjoy the view of the Mont Blanc range, You are a short walk away from the Pain De Chibon where every Wednesday you can buy freshly baked bread and regional specialties meats and cheeses.
GREAT Location :
You can walk down the hill to the bus stop which provides regular free bus transport to the whole valley including the nearby ski lifts in Les Houches. Local facilities like the large Super U market are nearby along the main road.
GETTING Around :
If you do not have a vehicle there are local buses departing regularly from the main road, which is 10 minutes walk down the hill, so longer coming up. Ski lifts in les Houches are a further 5 minutes by bus. Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains in the valley, plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums.
A night bus also runs from Argentiere to Les Houches and costs 4€ per person.
USEFUL Bits :
Of course, there is WiFi, provided by Orange, it is not fibre (yet) but it is a pretty good service.
If you need to book a transfer from Geneva Airport we recommend Haute Transfer, Mountain Drop Offs and Swiss Tours.

Your nearest Supermarkets, shops, restaurants are located in Les Houches on the main road.

Summer top tip - Les Houches has some incredible bike trails, take advantage of the storage space to bring your bike and enjoy the most out of your holiday!
Winter top tip - This location is close to the Rocky Pop Hotel, there is an excellent bar and restaurant with a fun atmosphere. A great place to check out if you want entertainment close to the apartment.

We had a fantastic stay at this chalet in Les Houches as a family of four. The location is perfect, offering easy access to Chamonix and the surrounding areas. The host was incredibly supportive and communicative throughout our stay, making everything seamless. The nearby RockyPop hotel was a highlight for us, with great food and entertainment options to enjoy after a day in the mountains. The conditions during our visit were absolutely perfect, which only added to the experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this chalet and hope to return in the future!

Beds were comfortable with good quality bedding and bed linning. Heaters were very efficient. Location was good and quiet. Cold tile floors so make sure to bring slippers. Impossible to unpack suitcases because there was no closet nor cupboard nor shelves in the master bedroom. The closet in the spare room is small and lacking shelves. Cleaning could be improved since there were a lot of spiderwebs on the ceiling.
