Beautiful chalet, in a beautiful environment. Very well arranged for a group of 14 people. Everything you need is there. The bed made on arrival is a real plus... In short, chalet and perfect service.

Chalet in a great location and properly arranged. It is located 5 minutes by car from the two of the three large ski lifts of the ski area. Bakery, sorting/garbage cans 2-3 minutes by car to Chinaillon. It is possible and easy, depending on the driver, to park 3 vehicles on the parking spaces in front of the chalet, without blocking access. For the little ones, it is relatively well secured; barriers (2) are present at the top of each staircase; as well as IKEA plastic dishes, for those who know it. There are also lots of small games, toys and books (English) The presence of bath towels provided and bedding made upon your arrival is a plus. The only downside is the billiard, whose photos would suggest that it is intended for adults; which is absolutely not the case; it is a children's billiard placed on a table. Description to be reviewed, so, to avoid misunderstandings To summarize, a great stay.

The house was nice and big with a nice view and good balconies. You are indeed looking at the slopes that are across the street. The village of Chinaillon is small-scale and friendly to see. It was nice that in the neighborhood (such a 300 meters lower, as seen from the house, can be slaughtered by children). Chinaillon: You really have to do the accessibility of the ski lifts by car. Parking is outside of the heyday holidays to be reasonably close to the elevator. The ski bus stops on the main street but that is (especially for younger children) too far with shoes and ski's. Back to the house, it's also spicy up. The ski resorts of Clusaz: are 20 to 25 minutes by car!. Paid parking in the parking garage, still a short walk to the elevator. It is better to drive on to the left or right initial lift (there it is free to park) and therefore do not choose the central elevator in the village. Ski bus to La Clusaz only goes with a change in Le Grand Bornand. Not really convenient. Apartment: Not super clean upon delivery, especially we had asked for the living room because of a crawling baby. That didn't seem to be much done. It is described that there is a high chair but this is only a booster seat with some straps. Too dangerous for infants/young children. THE BEDS ARE OF POOR QUALITY THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH IT. YOU ARE EITHER IN A PIT OR ROLLING TOWARDS EACH OTHER.

I and my family (6 adults and 5 children aged 9 to 16) have had a fantastic week at Chalet Berrier. The chalet does have fantastic alround views, across the valley to the ski slopes and over the town or village of Chinaillon. We mostly cooked evening meals as the chalet is well equipped and ideal for eating together and making your own entertainment. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are fine and clean and the whole house was always warm even though we were there mid winter. Chinaillon has a very good supermarket, a couple of boulangeries and quite a choice of bars and restaurants all within a reasonably easy and pleasant walk through the old town. The chalet is ideal as a base for skiing, you can store skis at the chalet and get the ski bus to the slopes but I recommend renting a locker at the foot of the slopes.
