This fully equipped 6 bed chalet for 12-16 people, will give you a holiday to remember, enjoying all the joys of the mountains with stunning wraparound views!!

The space

Chalet Berrier located in the old Chinaillon area of Le Grand Bornand resort is a new chalet built on three floors (148m²) in the traditional style giving it an authentic mountain look and feel. It has stunning wraparound views looking out to the slopes opposite & is within easy access of the main shopping street too. It will sleep 12-16 in 6 bedrooms with under floor heating on the ground and middle floors & wall heaters on the top floor.
On the ground floor a garage is used as a ski room and storage area. There is a well-equipped laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There are 2 bedrooms, a twin and another with a set of bunks and 2 single beds. Between them there is a shower room with a wash-basin and separate toilets. On the first floor there is a large open plan living room with separate areas for cooking, eating and relaxing + a games area with mini pool table. There is also a separate toilet on that level. The fully fitted kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and cooking utensils. It has ample storage space too. The dining area has a table and chairs with sets of glasses, crockery and cutlery for over 12 people and more.
The sitting room is furnished with modern furniture and designed to make you feel at home. There is a TV with Freesat channels, video player, a CD player, internet access, as well as books and games. Sliding doors lead out onto the South and West facing balconies at the front of the chalet with stunning 360° views including the Aravis Mountains, the slopes opposite and the and quaint old Chinaillon with its little chapel.
On the second floor there are two large bedrooms, one double with en suite toilet and wash-basin, the other with twin beds and a separate pull out bed for up to 2 - both with access to a South-facing balcony. There are two single rooms (each bed has an extra pull out mattress for extra capacity) and a family bathroom with a toilet and wash-basin.
All sheets and bath towels are supplied.
Pets will be considered only if we are asked in advance when booking.
The chalet has a strictly no smoking policy.
A cot and high chair are provided.

Extra services include full provision of linen, and a personnalized meet and greet.
These are to make your holidays that much more relaxing.
Accommodation not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Mid-stay cleans are also possible, contact us for this service!

Chalet in a great location and properly arranged. It is located 5 minutes by car from the two of the three large ski lifts of the ski area. Bakery, sorting/garbage cans 2-3 minutes by car to Chinaillon. It is possible and easy, depending on the driver, to park 3 vehicles on the parking spaces in front of the chalet, without blocking access. For the little ones, it is relatively well secured; barriers (2) are present at the top of each staircase; as well as IKEA plastic dishes, for those who know it. There are also lots of small games, toys and books (English) The presence of bath towels provided and bedding made upon your arrival is a plus. Only downside, the billiards table, whose photos would imply that it would be intended for adults; which is absolutely not the case; it is a children's billiards table placed on a table. Description to be reviewed, so, to avoid misunderstandings To summarize, very good stay.

The house was beautiful and large with a beautiful view and good balconies. You are indeed looking at the slopes that are across the street. The village of Chinaillon is small-scale and kind to see. It was nice that nearby (such a 300 meters lower, as seen from the house, can be dressed by children). Chinaillon: You really have to do the accessibility of the ski lifts by car. Parking is outside of high time vacations to reasonably close to the lift. The ski bus stops on the main street, but that is (especially for younger children) too far walking with shoes and skis. It is also spicy up to the house. The ski resorts of Clusaz: are 20 to 25 minutes drive!. Paid parking in the parking garage, but still a short walk to the elevator. Better you can drive on to the left or right starting lift (there it is free to park there) and therefore do not choose the central elevator in the village. Ski bus to La Clusaz only goes with a change in Le Grand Bornand. Not really convenient. Apartment: Not super clean upon delivery, especially we had asked for that for the living room due to a crawling baby. That didn't seem to be done much. It says there is a high chair but this is just a booster chair with some straps. Too dangerous for babies/young children. THE BEDS ARE OF POOR QUALITY THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THAT. YOU WILL BE IN A PIT OR ROLL TOWARDS EACH OTHER.
