Overall good but on arrival van parked in the parking space & the Chinese owner below told us we had to move. Van left in evening. The worst part was Sunday evening we arrived back to find a very very strong smell of fibreglass which was coming up from workshop below mainly in hallway it was very unpleasant & lasted until we left. We seen on leaving that a boat was being worked on in the workshop. This would put us off rebooking even though we loved location views balcony etc.

A great spot to enjoy the delights of Paignton - well appointed. Fantastic as has parking spot no noise or smell from Chinese restaurant or pub next door or across way. great crab sandwiches at Molys across the way. What more can you want Lovely terrace and stunning view

one small complaint we would have liked sunloungers on the balcony and the chinese takeaway below cooks in the day so ther is alwasy a cooking smell whilst sitting on the balcony

Great location. Neat and clean space. Taking garbage to dump to parking behind the apartment was a hassle, I would expect it to be taken care by cleaning staff, after all a significant amount is charged as cleaning fee.

Fantastic location with stunning views across the harbour and Torbay. The apartment was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great base to go off and explore or just relax on the large balcony. Well worth a visit 10/10

Myself and my 87 year Mother stayed here and we were so comfortable. the attention to details were 100% fab, we wanted for nothing and found the location great for activities, places to go and eat etc. The view is stunning and there is always something to watch. All the locals were friendly when walking around the area. Thanks you - would 100% recommend.

Fantastic apartment in a perfect location! The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The welcome Prosecco in the fridge was a lovely touch! Beds were very comfortable and views over the harbour/Torbay were stunning. Within walking distance of numerous restaurants, bars, and Paignton itself, and the Chinese takeaway below the apartment was yummy too! Parking behind the property was easy (there was another car permanently parked in the apartment’s second space but this didn’t bother us as we only had one car with us). We booked this very last-minute but Fresh Escapes accepted our booking request and sent the check-in information over straight away. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Stayed in the apartment for a week and it was ideal. The flat was clean and comfortable with good facilities and a great view over the harbour and bay. Location is excellent for exploring both Paignton and the wider area. Fresh Escapes were great hosts and answered all questions promptly, even on a Saturday night.

On the plus side, the view is exactly like the pictures - really beautiful - and the apartment was wonderfully clean on arrival (and nicely decorated)! However, we unfortunately had a leak in the family bathroom which was a shame though the hosts tried to get this resolved as soon as they could. The noise from the takeaway that sits under the living room disturbed our peace a little too much for us to want to go back...

Stayed in this apartment for the week. The apartment is of high standard and had everything you needed and more. The apartment gives off a luxury feel . The balcony area is the main attraction, especially when the weather is good, we sat there for hours looking out over the harbour. The location is also fabulous, you can walk to the busier pier area of Paignton within minutes, but the harbour is much quieter which is what we wanted. You can also walk to Torquay within an hour. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Great location, right on the harbour with fresh fish and restaurants. Little fairy cove 2 minutes from house is just amazing and the house had everything we needed and was extremely clean and had lovely homely touches

We had a very enjoyable stay in Paignton. The apartment was immaculate when we arrived and as described. The view was just lovely from the living room and terrace, and we enjoyed watching the boats sitting in the harbour. Although the apartment is above a Chinese take away, we did not notice any cooking smell or noise, and it was very handy for dinner! The main shopping area and beach is a short walk away and we had very enjoyable meals in the Harbour Light and TJ’s both of which were just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. A comfortable, clean, and well positioned apartment for exploring Torbay, I would definitely stay here again.

My elderly parents, daughter and I had a lovely long weekend in this apartment. Directions and check-in were accurate and efficient. The stairs up to the apartment were fine and my elderly parents coped well with the stairs. I will say that the apartment was as described but that would do it a dis-service. It was outstandingly clean. WRT Covid, hand sanitiser (by the door), hand wash and anti-bac wipes were supplied - it made us feel very safe. The apartment is lovely and bright and very spacious for the four of us. Two large bedrooms and two great sized, stylish bathrooms, a kitchen diner and large living area meant we had more than enough room to use. The main reason we rented this apartment was the large balcony overlooking the harbour which was absolutely stunning. What a great space to sit out on and watch the world go by. The location is so convenient for cafes, bars and restaurants it was lovely to have a short stroll for a coffee or meal in the evenings. The very convenient take-away (downstairs) was great (don't be put off by this - there was no noise from it). All in all a five star apartment - brilliant location - and wonderful hosts.

A lovely place for relaxing and exploring Paignton. A short walk to beaches, cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed breakfasts on the terrace watching the boats come in and out of the harbour. The apartment itself was wonderfully modern and clean with lovely little touches throughout.

Took my mom, dad and GF away for my moms 60th - had a lovely 4 days, the house playing a key role. Very spacious, great location and fantastic outdoor balcony space for breakfast, lunch or evening drinks! Highly recommend

We picked this property because of its lovely balcony with a great view, we were not disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the rest of the flat was. Comfy beds, v clean, good Wi-fi, functional kitchen and very clean bathroom with spacious shower with good pressure. We were worried about living above a takeaway but we didn’t need to be. No noise or smell. All in all great stay.
