Summary34a Clarence Hill is a charming ground floor apartment located within easy walking distance of the historic town centre of Dartmouth. Providing accommodation for one couple or up to three guests and a small well behaved dog, this apartment provides an ideal base to explore all that this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer with the River Dart and the South West Coast Path just a stones throw away.
Accommodation
The stable front door open directly into the apartments well equipped kitchen, where meal preparation is a delight to create a memorable meal together. This opens into the living area where you will find a cosy sofa to sit an unwind after your day of exploring the local area catching a film on the Smart TV, or snuggle up with a good book on the large comfy window seat.
A step up from the kitchen takes you to the hallway that leads to the bedrooms and bathroom. To end the day, indulge in a soothing soak in the elegant roll-top bath or refresh under the overhead shower. Then, retire to the beautifully presented king-size bedroom for a restful night's second bedroom features a trundle bed, perfect for one adult or two children.
There is no garden for exercising dogs, but you are only a short walk from Coronation Park on the North Embankment which is popular with dog owners as well as the South West Coast Path.

On street parking is available close by but restrictions might apply at certain times of the year.
NB: Please note that this property is best suited for 2 adults and 2 children as the single beds are only 2'6

The location of the flat is great for getting into Dartmouth and the living space was comfortable and matched the description. However, we were disappointed to find that there was a mould problem in the bathroom. The hosts quickly replaced the shower curtain and bath mat when we asked them to, but there was still mould under the bath and on the tiles which was unpleasant. The oven and oven trays were also sticky and dirty. We got a lot of noise from neighbours and the alley way to the flat was piled high with recycling and rubbish throughout our stay. We appreciate the final point is not the fault of the hosts, but it affected our enjoyment of the property.

This was a great stay, the place was very well thought out and comfortable. Great location, I know some have mentioned parking as an issue. Very close by there is a 2 hour 9am to 4pm parking restriction. Practically what this means is, either use the park and ride or Sainsbury’s at the top of the hill, and come back for 4pm. This gives you till 11am the next day…
