10 Clarence Hill is a vibrant townhouse, stylishly decorated to deliver a cosmopolitan vibe in the heart of this ancient maritime town. Up to 6 guests can relax in the open-plan living space, before gathering for meals in a dining area bathed in natural light, with large patio doors onto a whitewashed stone courtyard. For the true al fresco experience, there’s a larger, stone-walled courtyard to enjoy the sun while sipping cool drinks. And all within a short walk to Dartmouth’s treasures.
Stairs lead up to the first floor with the first of the bedrooms, this one has an upholstered kingsize bed, plenty of storage and large TV. Also, on this floor is the large family bathroom with corner bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. On the second floor there are two bedrooms both with upholstered double beds and plenty of storage. One of them has an en suite shower, toilet and basin and television.
Outside:
On the half landing between the first and second floors is the door leading to the walled terrace garden, a brilliant sun trap with a rattan dining table and chairs and Outback gas barbecue. The perfect spot for a glass of fizz on a summers evening. Please note the patio is not best suited for exercising dogs, Corronation Park is a 2 minute walk away at the end of Clarence Street where dogs can be exercised.
Parking:
The car park pass provided is valid for Mayors Avenue car park a 2-minute walk away. Please note that at significantly busy times of the year such as Regatta and the height of summer the pass does not guarantee a space, on the rare occasion the car park is full the permit is valid for the park and ride at the top of town.
Availability:
In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Saturday changeovers and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact us with any requests you may have, and we will accommodate if possible.
Out of peak season we don't need to keep to a Saturday changeover.

The space
The front door opens from Clarence Hill into the open-plan living room. To the front of the cottage is the lounge furnished with sofa and armchairs, large TV, and side tables. The kitchen is very well-equipped for a self-catering holiday and has cream units with granite tops, housing the dishwasher, fridge and freezer, electric oven and hob, Nespresso machine (please bring pods). The dining area has a high glass ceiling flooding the room with light, wooden dining table and upholstered chairs for 6. 10 Clarence Hill is a fantastic place to stay for a perfect getaway. Everything you need is provided for a home-away-from-home experience, and everything is well-styled, tidy, uncluttered, and clean. The property is in a great spot in the heart of Dartmouth, near the waterfront, shops, and local pubs/restaurants. It is a wonderful find—we’ll definitely book with you again when we return. Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
