This was our second time staying at the Nook, and although we had a lovely stay overall, unfortunately the cleanliness and general upkeep of the cottage has gone downhill. For future bookers: there are no logs provided for the fire, a torch is needed to go to/from the back door as there’s no light, the hot water isn’t enough to fill the bath and the TV is quite old and difficult to use! Although these are very minor issues, it did slightly take the edge off an otherwise lovely holiday!

A beautiful little cottage in a beautiful setting. The view of the estuary from the back garden is stunning - a great spot to watch the day draw to an end. Ample parking although be warned, it is a bit of a tight turning if you have a large vehicle. I had a Nissan X-Trail, which was fine but needed to be done slowly. The Nook is gorgeously decorated and very cosy. I highly recommend it.

The Nook is located superbly within the Village, and it's such a peaceful environment. Everything was either good, or acceptable. The only disappointment was how dirty we found the kitchen and its contents. We found ourselves cleaning everything, before either eating on, or cooking in. Would definitely return; just to hopefully a cleaner place. Thank you for letting us stay.

Dittisham is a magical and very special place set in beautiful surroundings. The Nook is a gorgeous, cozy cottage situated in the middle of this utterly charming village. This is the first time we have had a booking managed by a company and not the hosts themselves. I would say that the response time was slow but efficient when made. However, the warm, personal touch was missing.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely village, just right for a two person stay. The only issue was that the boiler wasn't working and so the cottage was absolutley freezing when we arrived. Dart Valley were responsive (10.30pm on a Sunday evening!) but there was nothing they could do. The plumber arrived the following day and the issue required new parts...so at our suggestion Dart Valley organised some electric heaters. They worked fine although clearly not as nice as having a warm cosy cottage, which unfortunately took the edge off a wonderful stay! Aside from the hearting issue, a lovely spot.
