The space
The front door opens to an entrance foyer with plenty of space for boots and coats, accessed from here is the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.Through into the living room with comfortable sofas for 4, TV with DVD, wood burner and river views. At the rear of the living room is the well-equipped, modern kitchen area; with oven and hobs, fridge and microwave.
Between the kitchen and living area is the large dining room table that comfortably seats 4. There is also access to the ground floor bathroom containing a bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin.
Upstairs are the two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a kingsize bed, river views and an ensuite shower room with shower, toilet and wash basin. Also, on this floor is the second bedroom with twin beds, built in wardrobe as well as dual aspect windows giving views of the river and the church.
Outside:
The walled garden is across the road from the front door (don't worry traffic through Dittisham is few and far between) A very private, sunny spot with outdoor dining area as well as grassy lawn and mature shrubs.
Parking:
There is plenty of unrestricted on street parking nearby on Riverside Road.

As an experience, enormously let down by Dart Valley Cottages who manage the property completely incompetently. We felt a little cold in house, storage heaters inadequate, and bedding too thin, never enough hot water to even half fill the bathtub, at one point no water coming out of taps in downstairs bathroom at all. We mentioned these problems to Dart Valley, and they pretty much expected us to just get on with it - offered no extra bedding - until we complained a second time about the cold, and the bedding locked in spare room they suggested to us was too mouldy to use. We needed to book ongoing accommodation, but staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional on phone, despite the fact that we were all feeling rotten because we’d got ill. They even complained that they’d had to send a plumber, and that because I was ill in bed, he hadn’t been able to access the loft hatch in the room where I was lying ill in bed!?! Inhumane. They are only there to grab your money…god forbid they should actually provide any service for it. The cottage does have lovely views of river, a good woodburner in lounge, and beautiful polish croquery in kitchen. Would never book a property managed by Dart Valley Cottages ever again. Awful.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Very comfortable with everything you need. Very quiet village, but with 3 good places to eat. Hired a boat from Dartmouth, walked the Dart Valley Trail and visited Agatha Christie’s house across the river. Found everyone very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend !

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
