A Bit of History:
16 Clarence Hill was originally an entrance and annexe to Mount Galpine House, the home of the Holdsworths – a prominent Dartmouth family. The facade is dated 1629 with exquisite carvings created in an era steeped in the towns Naval and shipbuilding history. The house was completely renovated to a standard of high quality and is now a very well appointed and equipped holiday home.

Out of peak season we don't need to keep to a Saturday changeover and do offer short breaks.

A lovely place to stay in the heart of Dartmouth! Very close to shops and restaurants, and also to the ferries if you want to go to Kingswear or on a trip. A lovely house with an amazing view over Dartmouth - which was a great vantage point for watching the regatta fireworks! An amazing garden space which was very well used during our stay.

We had a lovely stay and the house was spacious, comfy and clean. Excellent location and such super views out onto Dartmouth, the river and Kingswear from the front of the house.

Fab location. Note the road is very narrow and the parking space is a little tricky to park in but very handy as opposite the house.
