Views of the River Dart from the living room and two of the Bedrooms, including the beautiful Sky Room that has a very unique balcony system to take in unrestricted panoramic views of the Dart.
The space
Ferry View is a Spacious, Bright coastal home. Downstairs there is a large open plan lounge dinner with a subtle nautical theme. The lounge has a comfy sofa and Smart TV, while the dining area has a large table with seating for 6.Leading from the dining area there is a very well equipped kitchen with large Belfast sink, solid wood worktops, a single oven, induction hob, microwave, Nespresso machine (capsules not provided) and all other kitchen utensils and accessories.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms and the bathroom.
Bed 01 - located on the first floor this large bedroom has a KINGSIZE bed and plenty of wardrobe space. There is a SMART TV and beautiful views of the river and the higher ferry can be enjoyed from this room.
Bedroom 02- This cute bunk room is perfect for children, although the bunk beds are standard singles so can accommodate adults comfortably as well. There is wardrobe storage to the entrance of the room.
Bathroom - Located on the first floor the bathroom is brand new and has a w/c, sink, bath / shower along with an heated towel rail.
Bed 03 - Located on the third floor, the sky room has stunning River Dart views due to the uniquely designed roof system which allows three 6ft windows that open out in to balconies. Great for watching Regatta activities and the sun set from the river mouth.
Outside- Ferry view benefits from a decked area to the front of the property. This enjoys river views and seating. To the rear of the property there is a more private open and multi levelled courtyard with ample seating and fitted gas BBQ. There is a small utility room accessed from the rear garden for sporting equipment storage and use of the washer/dryer.
Guest access
Access to the property is via an open 20m path from the road up a small flight of steps. Entry to the property can be gained via a coded lock box with a key in to the left of the front door.Other things to note
We have one PARKING PERMIT (for one car) which allows you to park for FREE in the centre of Dartmouth. This parking permit will need to be displayed in your window when parking in Mayors Avenue car park and returned to the house when you leave.The only exception to this arrangement is during Regatta week where most of the town's car parks are taken over for the week.

Great second stay at Ferry View. Previous stay was 5 years ago, all pretty much the same. Amazing views of the car ferry and train, which our 2 year old loved and never tired of! Walkable distance to the town and carpark. Bathroom and garden area a little tired but usable. All in all, a lovely stay and we were blessed with some May sunshine and hot weather!

Thanks for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. The views were just stunning, overlooking the river at the higher ferry, and the steam train line on the other side of the river. The cottage felt like home, was spacious and pretty well equipped. It's an easy walk into the town and there are so many options for walking and exploring the area. Would definitely recommend taking the little ferry to Dittisham which is like stepping back in time. You can easily walk to Dartmouth castle from the cottage, and there is a great little cafe at the end. Would recommend the Floating Bridge pub - great beer and nice atmosphere.

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
