We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Villefranche. It’s a lovely space in a fantastic location — quiet, charming, and close to everything we needed. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming feel. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d happily stay again. Just a minor tweak to the check-in process would make it even better.

What a gem! We feel so lucky to have found and spent a week at the Pearl Riviera. The local host was extremely helpful and responsive. The apartment is super cute, decorated beautifully, clean and close to everything. C'est parfait!

Really cute apartment in a great location. Would stay here again. I agree with what some others have said about the stairs being a bit steep. Didn’t bother me but something to be aware of if you are traveling with a lot of luggage or have any physical disabilities.

We had a fabulous time at Romain’s apartment. It was in a great location close to everything. The apartment was very well equipped and was very pleasant to stay in. As other reviewers have indicated there are a number of stairs to access apartment which may be difficult for some. We really enjoyed our time at Romain’s Pearl Superb Apartment.

We had a wonderful family stay at the apartment set back inside the beautiful old town of Villefranche. Romain was the perfect host quick to respond and full of helpful instructions. Like many of the Riviera towns they are built on the hillside so yes you have steep steps but worth the effort to be in the heart of this wonderful place. Beach is a five minute walk with a no smoking section and train station only five minutes where you travel to nice and Antibes or even as we did to the perfume factories in Grasse. Merci Romain for a perfect stay.

Very nice accommodation, well furnished and clean, not very big but enough for a family with two teenagers. Great location in the old town, everything within walking distance. Romain's check-in and check-out instructions were very helpful and convenient. Just watch out for the steep stairs to reach this top floor apartment.

My family and I just spent an absolutely wonderful week in Villefranche at Romain’s apartment. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed - Airbnb, hotel, or otherwise. The apartment was clean, organized, and efficiently furnished / stocked. Air conditioning worked great. The location was perfect, a 2-5 minute walk from multiple wonderful restaurants. If we’re in Villefranche again, we’ll stay here in a heartbeat!

Romain’s place in Villafranche-Sur-Mer was perfect and such an amazing location. As a host, he was very easy to communicate with and provided very clear directions on checking in. The place has an amazing view of the water from the living room and the upstairs bedroom. The location was only a 3-4 minute walk to all the great restaurants in town. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Our stay was wonderful! Great communication and very clean! The view and location were great- it was so fun to watch the boats go in and out in the morning. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well stocked. The only thing to consider is the climb. If you have any trouble with stairs it will be difficult to stay here. We would definitely stay again if visiting this part of France!

Can’t say enough about how amazing this place was! Beautiful location! Everything was clean and very comfortable for a family of 4. Romain was excellent at communicating with us and responding quickly to our questions. He provided local recommendations and even helped us with getting a driver to the train station and surrounding towns. We can’t wait to someday come back to this location!

Such a great place to stay! Stayed here with a total of 5 people and there was just enough room. It is roughly a 10min train ride from Nice (and only a 5min walk to the train station). The little town of Villafranche is so adorable and quiet with lots of cute restaurants, bars, & beaches. Romain was also very responsive and gave us recommendations. I would recommend this to anyone! The only thing to be wary of (but not necessarily a negative thing) is lots of narrow and steep stairs to climb up into the airbnb!

Wow! Our stay was incredible. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need. Beach bags, and beach accessories were available which I didn’t expect & very much came in handy. The location is perfection, close to train, beach, shops, and restaurants. Host was great with communication and gave precise instructions. I wouldn’t stay if you can’t do stairs. The views are top notch and I will stay here again!

Such an incredible find with a comfortable, clean space and an unbelievable view! An absolute bang for your buck and well worth staying at! The stairs inside the building up to the unit were very steep but that’s what you’re going to get just about anywhere in this area. Comfortable beds, great amenities, so many recommendations and great communication.

A great place with some great views, right among all the small restaurants and shops, near the water, and the train station is about a 7-8 minute walk. I’d stay there again, without a doubt. Romain is a top host!

Romain was a very good host, especially always always available at any time. The place is very nice, with great views and close to the waterfront as well as the old town with many restaurants. The only drawback is that the apartment can only be reached on foot and via many stairs and the bathrooms are quite small. But if you know/schedule that, that's fine. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped, only a few Nespresso capsules and a few dishwasher tablets would have been nice.

Many people mention the stairs in their review, and they don’t exaggerate. However, this is the old part of town and should be expected in any building in this area. The apartment was quiet (we are extremely light sleepers, so when I say quiet - I mean it!). Beds were comfortable. Groceries were a bit tough to come by in this area. Walked to the two Casino shops in Villefrenche, both closed during so called open hours - so plan ahead of you like eating in. We stocked up on groceries while on our day trip to Monaco. But if you like eating out, lots of choices to be had. The location could really not be more perfect. Close to the train station (5 min walk), view of the sea, gorgeous old village, no cars. Add to all that the host’s incredible communication - very detailed, complete instructions, quick response to questions. What’s not to love?!?!

It was the same as I thought, no, it was a more amazing location and view. I wanted to live. I didn't want to come back. The cleaning condition was so clean and the bedding was clean. I'll definitely visit again. ^^

A lovely stay. A great welcome, great availability and responsiveness from Romain throughout our stay. A charming and practical apartment with two children. A nice sea view, especially from the bedroom. Very good location 6 minutes walk from the station (convenient for getting around without a car in the region), and two public car parks nearby, with the charm of the old town (small restaurants, grocery stores and nice shops, still open at the end of October). You just have to keep in mind that there are stairs to access it. The wifi works well for remote working if needed. We'll be happy to go back.

This location in Villefranche is perfect and a short walk to the waterfront, restaurants and stores. Very convenient for day trips to Nice or Monaco. The beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Nice and clean and up to date. The host was excellent and very responsive to any needs. I highly recommend it.

Can't say enough about how wonderful this apartment is. Extremely clean, beautifully decorated and modern. The views, of the ocean and of the village, are beautiful and also private. There are shades in the bedrooms to cut out light, double-paned windows, and excellent A/C in all the main rooms. Top-floor location was a bonus, though anyone with mobility issues might want to think about climbing the steep stairs. Romain was very organized and promptly replied to all of our communications. What a joy it was to walk 2 minutes to fabulous restaurants and 5 minutes to the beach. Awesome experience.

A beautiful apartment in a perfect location! Clean, newly renovated, comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped - looks like the pictures! Romain was very nice and responsive. The bed’s mattresses and pillows are super comfortable! The AC worked well and was definitely needed during our stay. It could have been perfect, if not for the noise issue. It was not relaxing due to a continuous humming noise and another intermittent loud noise coming from the inside of the walls. The second shower was out of order, but it was described as such in the ad, however because the pictures still show the second shower, it could be misleading if someone relies on pictures. This gorgeous small-space apartment has steep steps so some people may have difficulty. We didn’t have any issues except for the bruised and scratched legs from the bed's wooden frame corners because of the narrow walking space between the bed and walls. The rounded-corner or soft- cloth bed frame would fix the issue. The views of the bay, water, and town roofs are breathtaking. Thank you so much Romain! If the noise issue and second shower are fixed, we would be happy to stay at your beautiful place again.

Great holiday rental in the old town. The views are just as advertised. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of kitchen appliances to make home cooked meals and basics like spices and other dry goods.

Pearl is such a hidden gem. Very clean, great decor and use of space and most importantly super well located. Villefrance-sur-Mer is a lovely alternative to staying in Nice, especially in the months when you can enjoy the sea. Romain was a very attentive host too. Would definitely return and recommend to friends!

What a charming place in the middle of the old city in Villefranche-sur-mer. Romain was a great host and very responsive. Gave some good tips for restaurants, bars as well. The apartment is quite central to everything interesting in Villefranche. 5 min walk to the beach, 2-5 min walks to every good restaurant around. The place is kept very neat and there is AC too, which is great in the summer. For those visiting Villefranche for the first time, realize it's a very hilly town with a lot of steps to climb everywhere you go. So if you are carrying a lot of luggage (as we did after a long trip in Europe) it is going to be a challenge taking all the stuff to the apartment if you get down at the wrong place. So plan ahead. All in all, had a fabulous time. Thanks Romain.

The apartment is just amaizing. It’s located right in the heart of the old town and you literally can reach any venue within 5 minutes. Indeed, the entrance is quite steep, so make sure you are ready to carry all your heavy belongings upstairs:) The space is right as on the pics, very clean and neat. It’s not that huge, but was okay for 2 people, I think, 3-4 should be fine as well. The view is fabulous and always with you when you are inside. Romain is a great host. He was always ready to help and tried to meet all our expectations. We will definitely come back!

Romain was a great host!!Accommodations were better than the pictures showed. Everything was amazing including the view. Only downside is the staircase entering the flat is extremely steep and hard to navigate with luggage .
