We had a fantastic week at this property in the beautiful Villefranche-sur-mer. The property is in a great location with a view over the bay from the balcony. Lots of opportunity to just sit and stare at the boats coming in and out. The property itself has real personality with furniture and sea-faring ornaments that have clearly been gathered over the years. It's a small town, but decently busy given the relatively secluded nature of the beach and calm waters for swimming - getting a spot on the beach is a little tricky, but not impossible. A good range of restaurants covering most bases, with a couple of higher end ones for more special meals. Easy to get to Nice, Antibes and Monaco via train for day trips. The property management team were friendly and responsive. Our only word of caution is that if you are without a vehicle and have mobility issues then getting around V-s-m may not be for you - lots and lots of steps involved! Overall we had a great week and were sad to leave.

My wife and I along with our adult children were perfectly at home in this lovely, funky apartment overlooking the harbor. We ate and had morning coffee on the patio/balcony when weather permitted. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. All and all a great location for our long weekend visit to Nice.

The apartment is very tastefully furnished and super cosy and we felt right at home from the start. The big terrasse has a stunning view on the sea, which is ideal for family breakfast and diner. The bathroom are spacious and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Romain gave very clear instructions, and he was extremely friendly and responsive. we needed a baby cot and it was installed when we arrived. I can only recommend this place! My family and I had a wonderful stay and we would be happy to come again if we have the chance.

We spent two weeks here, and it was perfect! Views are spectacular. Everything is perfectly appointed. Romain was gracious and responsive. It’s an easy walk to the old town and the train station as long as you don’t mind lots of steps to get home. This is a perfect location to explore the South of France!!!

We loved our stay in this gorgeous apartment in Villefranche sur Mer. The location was quiet, close enough to walk to the old town for restaurants, boulangeries and swimming, but high enough to catch the breeze and the stunning view from the balcony and two of the bedrooms. You could catch an Uber if the walk home up stairs felt too much! The apartment had everything we needed, a well-equipped kitchen, the extra touch of Haman beach towels, beach mats and umbrellas we used on the beaches and really comfortable beds. We encountered a very hot period and had no problem being too hot in the apartment. We closed everything up when we went out for the day and even if we returned in the afternoon, during the peak of the heat, the apartment caught the breeze and fans were in each room. Romain's communication was outstanding and he had many excellent recommendations for places to eat, visit, shop, luggage storage facilities and anything else we needed. Perfect week - thank you!

The place was so great - we could walk to town. Romain was so communicative that there was no stress. Everything we needed was covered before check in. The deck out back is stunning

The apartment was spacious and had a nice cottage feel. There are however a lot of stairs going down to the village. I would recommend renting a car if you are not used to that We really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice, cozy apartment with great views. Lots of space, abundantly equipped kitchen, large bathroom. The apartment is higher than the old town, so either climbing stairs or a little longer along the road. Public parking is available in front of the house. Romain always responded very quickly and gave us good tips. We didn't miss air conditioning in April.

La Boheme is a magical place to rent in a town that I have been visiting each year for over a decade… absolutely fell in love with it the minute I met Romain at the door and walked in! Perched above the old town, with an extraordinary view of the bay of Villefranche, Cap-Ferrat and beyond from its ample terrace equipped for dining and sitting outside… this apartment hits everything on a traveler’s checklist, in my view: spacious throughout (unusual in France!,) high ceilings, lots of light in every room, comfortable beds and linens, fully equipped and charming kitchen, and a playful, somewhat rustic/cottage-like ambiance in great taste, that speaks to the sea and all that lies outside your door in this most gorgeous area of the world… and Romain, with whom I have worked before, could not be a more impeccably professional host… Kind, thorough, knowledgeable, communicative—and always ready to respond… no wonder he is a super host!!! I can’t wait to return next year!!! :)

Apartment Boheme is a great place for people who value peace and intimate atmosphere. Villefranche sur Mer is a great starting point, the town is pleasant and atmospheric, and the waterfront and restaurants around the harbor and beach are excellent. The apartment itself is equipped with everything you need, decorated with an idea. You can only work a little more about cleanliness. Roman is great as hosts - he's responsive, friendly, and helpful. I'd recommend :)

we had a great stay. romain’s flat was in an amazing location and we found it very easy to get around the town of villefranche-sur-mer. it was also very convenient to get to the local bus or train to explore other nearby towns - even with a stroller and newborn! from the beginning, communication was clear and prompt. romain was very friendly and helpful. the photos of the flat were accurate and we found the atmosphere to be very charming - don’t miss a chance to take in the view while having a morning coffee or evening aperitif on the terrace ;). we spent most of our days exploring, but the space was very comfortable for five adults and a baby. it would have been a pleasure to spend more time in the home. thank you so much for your hospitality. we hope to come back and visit again soon!

Charming, well appointed apartment with a lovely view of the water. The kitchen and balcony were our favorite. Bathrooms were big clean and comfortable. Romain was an excellent friendly host. Short but steep walk to the water. Easy street parking. We will stay here again on future trips!
