Wonderful stay in a prime location in Villefranche! Ideal for couples, with amazing restaurants just steps away and everything easily accessible. The train station and the beach were also within walking distance. The area is vibrant yet charming, making it a perfect base to enjoy the town. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free. We had a lovely experience and would happily stay again.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in the South of France! The location was perfect—just a short walk to both the train station and the beach. It was perfect for our post-college grad girls' trip. The place had everything we needed and more, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Romain was exceptionally responsive and kind, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy the beautiful South of France!

Unbeatable location with everything in a five minute (or less) radius of the apartment (markets, restaurants, beach, historical sites, etc.). Spacious living space for our family of three. Appreciated all of the amenities (wifi, two bathrooms, AC, washer/dryer, well stocked kitchen, excellent appliances, comfortable beds, and all the beach gear needed). Apartment is very clean and organized. The host Romain provided excellent instructions and resources, and communicated to questions promptly. I wish dish soap, hand soap (only shampoo offered), and extra toilet paper were provided. If we find ourselves in lovely Villafrance again we would happily stay at this apartment again.

Communication with Romain was excellent. He was quick to respond and helped us with everything we needed. The apartment is very spacious and extremely well equipped, even has umbrellas for the rainy days. The. double bed mattress is not comfortable enough. Everything else is really good.

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious and beautiful apartment. It's The little things that sometimes are important like having a dryer along with a washer, great espresso machine, hot water, two bathrooms plus windows that open up to fresh air. We walked everywhere and there's a wonderful little grocery shop right down the street. The water is a minute away and the train station just about a few minutes walk. Romain was super responsive. One day I hope to come back maybe when it's a little warmer as we were here in November. Lots of great day trips by bus or train so close by. This is a beautiful little town you can't miss if you are in this area.

Cozy apartment in a superb location in the middle of the charming Villefranche. Light and nice with windows in three weather lines. Comfortable beds,nice bathrooms and a lovely dining table in the middle of the kitchen/living room. Lovely place to gather! Peaceful and quiet. Well equipped. The balcony with two chairs was tiny and not easy to use as a seat. Easily get there by train as you reach with a short walk. Highly recommended. Romain was quick to respond and gave clear instructions. However, please note that the whole Villefranche is hilly and you must be able to climb stairs for living there.

Lovely apartment in the middle of a charming town! Very neat and well equipped. The photos won’t transmit the true beauty. Reminders: it’s France, don’t keep the bathroom doors closed all day because of the drains. They need ventilation and it takes a while. Attention: cars are NOT allowed inside the village. I recommend small luggage because you will have to climb quite a few stairs to get anywhere. Amenities: wonderful to have washer/dryer when you’re this close to the beach! The apartment also has some beach chairs, toys and sunshades. Air conditioning: all rooms have!

Romano’s place was so conveniently located in Villefranche with amazing restaurants right outside the door. His place was up a little higher in the city which gave it more privacy and tranquility as it was a way from the traffic. The place was clean and I had a few questions for Romain and he was quick to reply even calling me. I would recommend his place to others wanting to explore a beautiful peaceful village outside the hustle and bustle of Nice.

This beautiful, airy, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is perfectly located in Villefranche-sur-mer. A stones throw away from the beach and waterfront and many quaint restaurants to walk to. We arrived from the airport by train. The train station is walking distance to the apartment, with a few stairs to climb once you get into the town so pack light!! We absolutely loved our stay here and would go back again! Thank you!

Pros: Great restaurants near by Near the beach and train assuming that you don’t care about stairs Nice apartment with many amenities like coffee machine. Cons: Noise until 11 pm , but the white noise machine helped so thanks Too many stairs for kids ( biggest issue for us family with two small kids) Old apartment building with kind of dangerous staircase ( really old and small) and no light. Had to throw the trash before checkout even though it’s a 5 minute walk! Apartment was dirty as cleaning didn’t show up and it took 2 hours to fix it. Check in is late at 4 pm and I wasn’t allowed to leave luggage in advance. Overall: Overall great stay for couples or friends but not amazing for family with small kids. Nothing that the host can do about the stairs, maybe be more clear in the listing that it is more suitable for friends , couples instead of families. I also saw couple of negative comments in the listing that Romain did dismiss, so he might do it again.

The place was nice- very centrally located, had a fair amount of natural sunlight, clean, well stocked with cutlery and players etc. it resembled the pictures fairly well, but was smaller than expected and depicted in the photos. The furniture was fine but was a little tired. The host was prompt to get back during checkin, but we had a request for towels on my 4th day that they didn’t respond to for a few hours. The location was very central and a 5 minute walk from all places. However, there were a lot of steps that were not accessible by road and we needed to carry our suitcases up and down the alleyways and stairs in the apartment

If you want central, this is a great location. A couple of minute walk to everything you want- restaurants, beach, ice cream, supermarket, coffee. Apartment itself was fine- a little tired, but was equipped with everything you need. Villefranche is a beautiful destination!

Our weekend break in Romain's apartment was absolutely fantastic. Communication before, during and after was great and Romain was on hand to answer any questions that we had. He provided clear instructions as to the location and shared lots of details about the local area which was great. The apartment itself is perfect. There were four of us staying and there was plenty of room. It was tidy, very clean and just as the pictures show. It's nestled in the pretty streets of Villefranche, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, however it was very quiet during our stay and we were never disturbed during the night. Just 2 mins walk is a supermarket, coffee shop and bakery, and the location is positioned just 2/3 mins walk from the waterfront which has a beautiful beach & plenty of bars and restaurants. The train station which connects you from Nice Airport is only a short 5 minute walk from the apartment making it really easy to get around. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again!

A spacious, well-equipped apartment situated in a quiet street in the old town. Some information about local transport and shops would have been helpful. Romain was an extremely consciencious host, always ready to respond to our every need. We'll be back!

Super central in old town, reasonable space, and only a dozen or so stairs to get into this place. Confortable bed with good linnen, good hot water pressure, and a large, comfortable living room/kitchen. Nice perch balcony for morning coffee in the sun. Less impressed with the broken lights in the main hallway, and both bathrooms,, and the older than the pictures feel to the place. And of course this place has some kind of coffee machine that takes pads you’ve never heard of. Why can’t every Airbnb just have the standard entry level nespresso, or at least a moka pot? We stayed in winter and it was nice and quiet, but the main bedroom is right on a busy pedestrian street, and above a popular restaurant’s terrace so early sleepers should bring earplugs in summer.

I stayed in this gorgeous apartment with 5 other friends and we had the most wonderful time. Communication with the host was easy, the apartment had everything required for our stay, as well as being a prime location in Villefranche-sur-Mer. It is the perfect place to stay if you wish to explore the Côte d’Azur, with easy access to the beach, and a train station very close by. It is one of those places that you never want to leave.

We were a small family staying at Romain in Villefrance sur Mer. Our son is 12 weeks old and our daughter is 8 years old. The apartment is sensationally located in the old town. But that's exactly the problem for a stroller and all the luggage. That's what you should know. The car is also about 500 m away (for a fee of about €42/day) or free - if you are very lucky. There are just under 60 steps from the promenade to the apartment. We quickly resigned because it can't be changed anyway. The apartment is well equipped. Clean and has everything your heart desires. Also umbrellas for the beach. The two bathrooms are spacious and the kitchen superbly equipped. We still had dinner at the numerous restaurants every noon and evening. Gastronomically, it is a Schlaraffenland. My recommendation from Restaurant Dry. Culinary to the highest Nivau The supermarket is only 100m away and also a really great bakery. Highly recommend. All in all, we are happy if we come back without a lot of luggage and children.

Romains apartment is the perfect central location. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The place is very clean and complete with all you need. When you open up the windows you feel as if your above everything in your own private space yet part of the surrounding atmosphere. Communication with the host was prompt and he provided us with great recommendations. It was a very easy experience. There are lots of stairs to the apartment building entrance itself and up to the front door so if you have lots of baggage just plan accordingly. We would certainly stay again. The beach is just at the bottom of the steps and you are in walking distance to the beach club (about 10 minutes)

In the middle of the old town. Very accessible to everything in the village. 10 min walk from train station. Bed in master bedroom is very comfortable. Decent Wi-Fi. A small restaurant is next door with a terrace but they shut by midnight latest and with the windows closed it is not a bother. Plenty of basics in kitchen, even spices, dry goods and tea/coffee. The Casino shop nearby has the pods for the coffee machine.

Feel like at home in this cozy and fully equiped apartment in the old Town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Really nice place with the charm but also minor inherent imperfections. Do not hesitate, you'll fall under the spell of this place. Romain is very responsive and available, a real asset. Apartment with undeniable charm,perfectly equipped and very well located in the old town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. The feeling of being at home with its cozy side and its few imperfections. Watch out for the steps to get to the space but it's definitely worth it. Romain is the ideal, responsive and friendly contact.
