The house is a good size - there is one bedroom downstairs, as well as one bathroom, which we found very useful as my mum is disabled. There are another three bedrooms upstairs, along with two bathrooms. The house was warm, even at night, with the heating set on a timer. The location is walking distance from Andover high street, as well as several shops.

Wonderful home, absolutely huge space and generous size bedrooms, the house does need a little TLC but otherwise perfect for a staycation! Great location, 5 min walk to the local town and supermarket. Beautiful garden, would be amazing in the summer! Tv could do with updating and some of the furniture but absolutely would stay again!

The property is a commercially managed short term rental that appears to have seen very limited maintenance or improvement. The upstairs bathroom has no lock, the bed side lights are not plugged in and there are no sockets nearby, there is substantial staining to the kitchen countertops, there are only 4 mugs etc. That being said, it's a nice large and light house in a convenient area with off street parking, so it would be relatively straightforward to invest a little time and effort into making it a much nicer experience. Despite being a commercial let it continues to use the local councils domestic refuse services, which is always a disappointment. It's cheap, but in my opinion not quite cheap enough to justify these oversights.

Second stay at this property, unfortunately this time was cold, the TV didn't work properly and one of our work group was savaged by what appears to be bed bugs. We will not be staying again.

The place is in disrepair need's a lot of maintenance It had no heating in one of the bedrooms. It wasn't ready when we arrived, the cleaner was still there when he left we found the bath was dirty as was the floors dishwasher crockery reported this and we got a £35 refund after spending £785. We had to clean the dishwasher out and clean all of the crockery hover all the floors, clean the washing machine out as is also stunk. bathroom and kitchen had to be cleaned. My wife and one of the other guests were bitten when in bed and other reviews have said the same. I would never stay here again it was a stay of nightmares. Sent pictures of all the complaints, and that's when we got a £35 refund which was insulting. NEVER AGAIN.

The house was absolutely perfect for many experiences. We drove from 30-60min to everything we wanted to see. The house itself was not clean. Bathrooms and beds were good, but tables and benches were tough. Unwashed cutlery. There were 4 of us and not 4 like glasses of any kind. It is a charming house, just need a small stretch so would it be perfect!

The House was clean and easy to find, that said it could do with a bit of TLC, the furniture was a bit tired and worn in places. We were there for a wedding and did not spend a significant amount of time if the house itself, we used it as a base which was functional and near to where we need to be. Sarah the host was responsive and friendly.

The house is in a pretty poor state and doesn't really bare any resemblance to the photos. The rooms were pretty dirty and several of my friends were bitten quite a bit in the night by bed bugs. The shower doesn't provide much hot water either. The kitchen doesn't have enough glasses or crockery. Advertising this as an executive house is really rather misleading. It desperately needs a revamp. Not helped by an hour delay getting in as the cleaners had locked the door from the inside. Not really recommended.

This is the first bad review I’ve written for an Airbnb. As a guest I’m pretty easy to please and I don’t go looking for problems. However I do feel that people need to know what this property is like before they book it. Overall the house is a good size, with a large garden, with enough room for 7 guests comfortably (with people sharing) Checkin was simple with a key in a lockbox. The shower is also a good pressure. Unfortunately the pros end here. From the offset the front door had a board over some cracked glass, the bottom rail for the bannister was hanging off loose, the kitchen lights didn’t work at all (arriving after dark and cooking dinner meant we had to source 2 lamps from upstairs). - The Wi-Fi and the TV both didn’t work. - The bath controls were detached and laying on the side of the bath. - One of my friends lay down on his single bed and a slat snapped so he spent the weekend on his mattress on the floor. - In my bedroom with a single and double bed, the bedside lamps were just for show with no plug sockets to plug them into. - We had to go buy toilet paper as there were only 3 rolls in the house (not enough for a group of 7 for a weekend). - The bottom fridge tray was cracked and there wasn’t enough cutlery for us all to eat dinner together at the same time. - I highlighted these issues to the owner (which was part of bow properties) and they offered solutions that didn’t work and then just said they’d let maintenance know and get back to us as soon as possible. We didn’t hear anything further and the kitchen lights, TV and Wi-Fi issues were left unresolved. We also asked for a late checkout on the Sunday - which they do say you can ask for, but was told we couldn’t due to another booking so we made other arrangements. But the evening before we left we received an automated message asking if we wanted to extend our stay an extra night. We checked the Airbnb app and there was no extra booking, so they weren’t honest with us. From reading other reviews - it is clear these problems are ongoing and haven’t been resolved for at least 6 months. Interestingly there was a review from July that seemed to list almost all of these problems. I wish we’d read that prior to booking as for a birthday weekend away - it put a large dampener on the experience. The location is good for being near to country walks, historical sights and there’s a really big supermarket 2 mins drive away, but I wouldn’t consider staying here again until these issues have been addressed. This property doesn’t represent Airbnb ideals. It’s a management company that clearly doesn’t value the individuals that stay there.

Sadly this is our first ever bad review but after the few days we had we aren’t really left with much choice. The property itself is ok, good space nice sized rooms but basic. No real cost has gone into making this anything that stands out. The bedding is cheap and seen it’s days. The pillows in two rooms you can fold like paper. Needs some TLC in the house to bring it to the standard of other Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. When we arrived we noticed the virgin tv wasn’t working. Only two channels and they had a big grey message filling the screen so you couldn’t watch it. Message stated virgin wasn’t connected so therefore in the 3 nights 4 days we were there our children had no tv. With toddler twins this wasn’t ideal. Then noticed we couldn’t have a bath as the heat control to the bath was broken and just sat on the side of the bath. Now whoever cleans this property would have seen this so why this wasn’t sorted out prior to our arrival I don’t know. Our first night was hell screaming shouting and swearing and fighting coming from outside. People stood outside next doors which we’ve been told is a hostel or a young mothers home. Either way this went on from midnight until gone 4am. My children were kept awake as were we all. I went outside at one point and another neighbour had gone out to tell them to keep it down. He informed me this is a regular thing as they’ve frankly had enough. Who can blame them as that’s certainly not what we wanted. I messaged the hosts and two days after receive a reply saying it was a mother & child unit and they wasn’t aware of any problems, well clearly the neighbours there are. I also asked about the tv and bath and got a reply saying “thanks for your feedback we will pass it onto the owners” and that was it. I wasn’t impressed at all. No attempt to offer to fix the tv or bath or apology for the circumstances, nothing. Sadly you can tell this isn’t run by the owners as very little care given to how the paying guests are feeling. We wouldn’t return even though it’s so close to family we’d not stay here again. Feels like it’s solely for the money gain but putting very little back into it and bringing attention to Maintaince problems has no end result. Like I said this is my first negative review which isn’t nice to leave but I feel it’s been unavoidable considering the lack of response or care from the hosts.

Sarah's house is a large Victorian detached house that is modern, cosy and well equipped. Its close to the town centre but not noisy and has parking for 2 medium size cars off the road. I really enjoyed staying there on a work trip and would happily book again for a group of people or a family.

Lovely, spacious Victorian house. Heating worked well to keep the house cosy during a very cold weekend. Very clean and tidy throughout and enough towels for everyone. The only thing I’d change is to have more than one shower cubicle/over bath shower as 7 people trying to use the same shower in the mornings was tricky. As this property sleeps up to 9 I think it would be a good option. Lovely host and good, clear instructions regarding check in/out. Overall a nice weekend stay in Andover/Winchester.

This is a good sized property with plenty of room in the bedrooms. The kitchen has plenty of work surface and a large range if you want to cook. You will find a large fridge and a separate freezer, which is helpful for larger groups. The dining table was perfect for a family meal and there are plenty of chairs around the property.

Do not go there! a short time before our arrival the host asked us to switch houses, after we ordered months in advance. we said yes hoping it wont damage our vacation. a big mistake! after a long day of travelling, the only 2 things we wanted were hot shower and a warm bed. both didn't happen. the boiler didn't work - so 9 people, 5 of them are small children had to take a freezing shower, crying! in addition, although we ordered and paid for 9 people, there were only 8 beds. one of us had to sleep on a sofa with no blanket and no pillow. also there were some other annoying issues - like the balcony and garden that had no lights, so we couldn't sit there, old food left in the kitchen, and more. but shower and bed was really a disaster

Unfortunately all the rain meant we couldn't make the most of the garden, but it looked like it would have been lovely on a sunny day! After having been let down last minute by another property, this property was exactly what we were looking for. The house is lovely with plenty of space and great areas for a group to socialise including an outside decking with tables and chairs. We had a great stay :)
