Located 200 metres from the Beach, the famous Negresco Hotel and the Promenade des Anglais, this seasonal rental is on the 4th floor with a lift, in a prestigious building. It has a beautiful open view of the courtyard.

The apartment is very easy to find and not far from the Jean medecin metro station. Had to pick up the keys from the apartment rental company located about 5 mins walk from the apartment. A folder with clear instructions on the 'rules' of the apartment was given in addition to useful info about the apartment, directions to it and how to enter etc. In addition to the metro station mentioned above, there are a number of busses that can be taken from stops a few minutes walk from the apartment. Bars and restaurants are easily accessible. There is an elevator in the apartment block which is not always the case in Nice, so this is a very big positive. It was quite noisy at night with traffic constantly passing on the street below and loud groups of people in the nearby park each night (from midnight until 5am). Received lots of automated email messages asking for our details, passport numbers etc. prior to arrival but once we checked in, responses to messages were slow or not-at-all.

Great central location, easy to walk to the beach, to Old Town, and 10 min walk to Nice-Ville train station. Very nice views, and Lucienne was very helpful with organising us an airport pick-up taxi. However it was quite hot in the apartment at night- there were fans in each bedroom but no air conditioning unfortunately.
