We had a lovely stay in Villefranche-sur-Mer, which was mainly thanks to the flat's great terrace. The view is fantastic. Villefranche-sur-Mer is a very beautiful old town, and the building in which the flat is located is also correspondingly old. However, the flat's furnishings are also very dated. A lot of things are broken and urgently need to be renovated. The location of the building is a big plus, but the price is still quite high for the flat's furnishings.

Firstly, I’m not someone to write bad reviews but I have to let people know about this place. Yes the view is beautiful and location on point, however the advised air conditioning is not air conditioning!! It’s a portable air conditioner that doesn’t even work. When I asked for help on how to fix the issue, I was left on read and ignored. We had to pull the mattresses down and sleep downstairs as it was too hot upstairs. I asked for a refund to book another place as we needed air conditioning but were refused. I would never have booked this place otherwise, and sadly made our trip sad.

It was lovely to be back at the apartment. The view is truly exceptional, and you never get tired of sitting on the terrace and taking in the view over the bay, day or night. The furnishings are fairly simple, but you have what you need. Just be aware that there is no A/C, only fans, so it can get quite warm on hot summer nights, especially up in the loft. All in all, this is still a great find for the price in Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Had a lovely stay. Apartment was in such a perfect location and the views from the balcony were stunning. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Looking forward to visiting again. To enable to get the great view, it does mean the apartment is very high up and so a lot of stairs, which was fine for us, but may not be suitable for others.

We had a lovely stay at this little apartment. The view from the porch was absolutely lovely, and a great spot to enjoy morning coffee. If you’re looking for a charming little spot, this is it. You’re only about a 4 minute walk down to the waterfront with many dining options. We found the place very tidy and an easy check in process.

Lucienne's place exceeded our expectations, primarily due to the unbelievable balcony view of the ocean. Every morning and evening was so peaceful that we decided to eat in several nights instead of going out (and VFSM had so many incredible restaurants!) so we could relax during meals with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. The kitchen was well equipped for making small meals and breakfast. Everything was clean.

Apartment in its original state, functional but deserves a little makeover in terms of furniture. However, the view quickly makes you forget this slight discomfort. Perfect location for access to the picturesque alleys of the old town as well as the beach… The bus stop is not very far (but it's uphill!!). The train station is also nearby. A nice time spent in Villefranche S/mer!

The apartment is basic but functional and very clean. Beautiful balcony overlooking the bay, you could sit there all day. The view is sensational. The weather was very hot and we found it extremely hot sleeping in the small bedroom upstairs so we actually spent the week sleeping on the fold out sofa bed which was actually very comfortable. The location of the apartment is perfect. It is within walking distance of everything, train station, restaurants, shops, beach etc. We very much enjoyed our week in this apartment in the stunning Villefranche-sur-mer and would recommend a visit. We would love to come back some day. Thank you.

A few flights of stairs to climb - but once up there has to be one of the loveliest views in Villefranche! The apartment is basic but with everything you need, and the star of the show has to be the terrace. It's also in a particularly convenient location right by the train station and incredibly close to all of the restaurants and shops. Villefranche itself is one of the prettiest towns on the cote d'azure and such a treat to wake up there. Thank you for such a special stay!

Amazing view from the balcony! The accommodation is in the middle of the very picturesque village with less than five minutes to the beach, bakery, restaurants and grocery store. Good and quick help from the host. The apartment's standard and cleaning was OK. There is air conditioning, but the sleeping loft still gets too hot at night. Ten minutes to the train that quickly takes you all over the Riviera.

We had a brilliant stay at this apartment in Villefranche-sur-Mer! The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk from the train station, which made day trips to Nice, Monaco, and Menton incredibly easy. Honestly, we fell in love with Villefranche itself, such a charming, picturesque place. The highlight of the apartment was definitely the balcony. The views were absolutely stunning and quickly became our favorite spot. While the amenities in the apartment were fairly basic, everything was functional and worked well. We would absolutely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the best of the French Riviera.

Have a great trip! Beautiful view of the sea. Friendly neighborhood, quiet and easy key retrieval. Highly responsive host and clean space. The price is a little high compared to a small lack of general modernity of the accommodation (bed, radiant heating, etc.). However, the accommodation is very well located and worth a visit. Recommended.

The agency that the apartment is listed through is very responsive and hospitable. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and made us feel right at home, with the best view we’ve ever had! The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and extremely walkable to great restaurants, the train, beach, and shops. Would definitely recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay! We checked in with Sandrine at the office to pick up the keys. We were quite early, so Sandrine let us keep our bags at the office while we grabbed lunch and explored town checking in. She was so pelasant to work with and gave us some great recommendations. The view is just as pictured, but somehow better in person! We loved spending time on the balcony. Some reviews mentioned the climb but it's really just a few staircases. Not bad at all. The location is a six minute walk to the train and beach. This was perfect because we spent most of our stay exploring different areas of the Riviera, so being close distance to the train was important. Highly recommend!

This place stood out for its great location in the old town near restaurants and beach and stunning views from a good szed balcony. Otherwise it was comfortable, well equipped and a good size for 2 people. Those with mobility issues and/or excessive luggage may find access challenging to the apartment up 3 flights of steep narrow stairs. However, for us it was well worth it for the views. Some may also not like the steep stairs to the attic bedroom. However, we are not young and had no problem.

My wife and I have mixed feelings about our stay. The location boasted a terrific view of the water, despite requiring a bit of a hike to reach—par for the course with most BnBs, but worth noting. However, once inside, we found the place lacking in basic comforts. I would recommend bringing your own pillows, and we had to stock up on essentials like toilet paper and paper towels from the get-go. For the price we paid—over $200/night—we expected a bit more in terms of amenities. The kitchen was also missing essential utensils for cooking. The biggest issue, however, was the unmentioned ant infestation, which forced us to take extra precautions. Despite the incredible view and balcony, our overall experience fell short of expectations.

A really beautiful view. Difficult to find, but with Sandrine's help, we managed. The apartment is really in the old centre, which makes it very special. The view is amazing! And the narrow streets are very cosy. Please bear in mind that there are a lot of stairs and no parking nearby. The beach is easy to walk to. We were with 4 people. There is 1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed.

The apartment was gorgeous and villefranche is lovely. A few low ceilings for tall people (my husband is 6’0), but the view was incredible. Full view of the beach from one end to town to the other. Be prepared for lots of stairs and a bit of a dark/old hallway, but the apartment itself is lovely. Really appreciated the beach umbrella too!

This is a wonderful apartment in the old town. Everything in Villefranche is in easy walking distance and you are in the quiet end of town nearer the train station. The views are stunning. The only advice I will say is to get those views you need to access via 5 flights of stairs both inside and outside so this should be considered for the infirm or unfit! The bedroom is a little compromised as it’s in the eaves with only a velux window and no furniture for clothes and also up a steep set of stairs but it was fine for us. We fell in love with Villefranche and this apartment.

This is a lovely apartment with spectacular views. It has everything we needed and would definitely stay again. It is a top floor apartment in an old town so expect steps but it is well worth it once you are up there. Overall 10/10

Truly beautiful view and an excellent location that felt peaceful yet there are plenty of little restaurants in the town for a few days' stay. And Nice is a very quick bus or train ride away. Location is also enjoyable for rigorous walkers who dont mind elevation gain, as you can hike to Vinaigrier Forest. The entryway is rustic for sure but workable. Stairs, as I believe is mentioned, are a factor, but workable if youre agile. The living room is airy and leads to the patio which is really nice. The covered furniture feels a bit less sophisticated than expected for the price, and the shower does too, as it leaks water easily and the water cools fairly quickly. Towels are a bit rough and we saw a few ants about the floor; but no biggie Bed is spacious and comfortable enough. And it is nice to have the skylight. Heaters upstairs and down kept it warm in February. Overall the space was pretty rustic but enjoyable. Maybe a tiny bit pricey for its value but a very good stay overall.

A wonderful place to stay with a fantastic sea view. We particularly liked the large balcony. The flat is very spacious, and you get a very good sense of the space. The separate sleeping area upstairs was great, because it was also easy to make dark and you could also retreat there from time to time. The location was great, in the old town and close to the beautiful harbour area, close to the train station and close to the beaches. Absolutely recommended.

An appartement with amazing views at the Bay Area. The apartment is situated near the sea (+-50m) and is part of the old town with lots of restaurants and stores. Finding the appartement by arrival could be challenging as well the many stairs and finding parking space. Don’t recommend this stay with young children between 0-3. We are a family of 4 with 2 girls (4+6). Communication with Lucienne was perfect.
