Overall, we enjoyed our stay here but we probably wouldn’t return. What I wish I would have known before booking was this Airbnb is managed by a company, not an individual. After booking, you’re required to do extra items outside of Airbnb. Pros: the space was clean, had A/C, and the view was absolutely incredible. Cons: check-in/receiving the keys was a bit of a journey, they had to be picked up from a restaurant not close to the Airbnb. The check-in time on the listing is wrong and we weren’t able to check-in when originally planned. There was a persistent mildew smell coming from the bathroom that permeated throughout the space at times (another review also mentioned this). It is a hike to get back up to the Airbnb from the city center, be prepared to take many Ubers/Taxis.

Apartment faithful to the photos, spacious, clean, well-equipped and with beautiful views of Villefranche harbor. The location is ideal for exploring the Nice area in Menton, especially with the train station within walking distance in 20 minutes. The only inconvenience of our stay was a persistent bad smell in the bathroom... Thank you anyway for this stay!

Great stay thank you. Hosts were so accommodating with helping us. Apartment views were stunning (bit of a trek back from the beach) but apartment was clean and spacious and very comfortable. Look forward to visiting again.

Lucienne place is absolutely stunning. Beautifully designed, clean and spacious for four people. The view from the balcony is simply amazing! All the necessary appliances are there to make the stay enjoyable including juice maker, coffee maker, washer and yes, hair dryer (which I thought was not there). There is no air conditioner, so make sure you’re ready for the heat during the day. Nights were good. The apartment is situated on the hill. It’s walkable ( we walked down to restaurants, stores, beach etc. ) but… it’s 480 steps down. It was not a huge problem for us. However, If you are traveling with small kids though and/ or a stroller that will be a problem. You may want to drive down instead. There was no designated parking spot, but street parking right in front of the building is available and we never had a problem with it. To conclude, we had a great time. We would recommend Lucienne’s place and we would definitely return there.

Very nice apartment renovated with taste. The kitchen is very well equipped. The view of the bay is very beautiful with the port and Saint Jean Cap Ferrat in the background. The only downside is that you can do something on foot, the car is essential for getting around; the apartment is on the heights, which is not convenient with infants in particular.
