The apartment had not been cleaned before my arrival and was in an unacceptable condition. I contacted the host immediately, and cleaners arrived approximately two hours later. Once it had been cleaned, the apartment was perfectly livable. Unfortunately, the initial experience significantly affected my stay. The apartment wasn't ready until around 10:00 PM, so I requested a refund for the first night. The host declined, explaining that my booking had not been registered in their system, despite it being confirmed by both Airbnb and email. They did not take responsibility for this error, nor did they follow up after the issue was resolved, even after I shared photos showing the condition in which I found the apartment. That said, the location is excellent, with fantastic restaurants nearby, and once cleaned, the apartment itself was alright. The poor handling of the arrival, however, overshadowed what could have been a fine stay.

The apartment is very nice and centrally located, but it’s too noisy to use either of the two terraces, since the apartment is on the main road. The sheer curtains provide no privacy at night, nor shade from the sun during the day. The stated parking costs were totally incorrect. I was told they were 1€ per hour, but in fact all parking is St-Jean is 28€ for EVERY 6 hours between 8am-8pm, or 56€ per day, with no other option, but to keep paying. The photo of the lockbox shown was incorrect, and there was no identification on the apartment door that matched the keys in the lockbox. The apartment is very sparse, with no amenities; one tiny soap in the bathroom and an empty soap container. The bed is very low to the floor, which might be a problem for some guests.

The location of the apartment was excellent, restaurants, bars and shopping! The apartment itself was clean and a nice size. I think they could add a few rugs to add color and a chest of drawers in the bedroom for more storage! All in all it was a very nice apartment!
