The Marinières beach is a 8-minute walk away and the apartment is close to amenities: restaurants, supermarket, bakery, etc.

A bedroom with a 160 cm bed and a large wardrobe, another small bedroom/office with a single bed and a luxurious bathroom with an Italian shower and toilet.
Sandy beach: In Beaulieu 10 minutes by car or bus.
Bus to Nice or Monaco: 400 metres away
Market: Wednesday and Saturday morning 400 metres.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and location is great but unfortunately there were a couple of issues. When we got there the apartment was very hot and a very strong smell of damp, the smell came back everytime we stopped the air conditioning and with me being asthmatic it made is hard to sleep. The second bedroom did not have a door, just a curtain which was the bedroom for our 5 year old and you have to pass it to get to the bathroom and the tumble dryer and washing machine are next to it so it was too loud to use it while she was sleeping. The kitchen is equipped with everything but unfortunately the knives were so blunt you couldn't cut a tomato so made cooking hard work. The apartment wasn't very clean when we arrived as there was dried pasta in the sink, the shower wasn't cleaned properly and there were lots of spider webs above the beds and the sofa. When we used the tumble dryer the filter was not cleaned as it was full of fluff and sand. Villefranche is beautiful.

Absolutely loved out stay ! The apartment was perfect and matched the photos and descriptions. The location was even better than we had hoped for with really delicious restaurants located right below and a lot of small boutiques nearby. The old town is really charming and colourful. The place was really clean and beautiful and we can highly recommend it. Will definitely come back another time. However it's worthwhile noticing that as in most older buildings, you can smell the age and life of the building. It did not bother us and we quickly got used to it. Very satisfied with our stay, both the apartment and the surroundings were fantastic !

Lucienne’s accommodations were exceptional. Conveniently located to the train (5 min walk) and to the main road (1 min walk). Very spacious and clean flat, great value for money. Lucienne had a cab booked for us upon our late arrival at the airport, with the keys and further information provided to us then. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Villefranche-sur-Mer. We will certainly be coming back!
