Unfortunately we had a number of significant problems: the electricity kept going out every time we tried to use the coffee maker. Two days later we spent hours waiting for electrician, who couldn't fix it. That evening we received lengthy instructions about resetting electric box (rather than host sending someone to do it). Wifi didn't work first morning. No one explained that part of flat couldn't not be locked, but that all valuables needed to be placed in the locked part of the flat. Stove top didn't work properly. Host offered to refund us 100 euros, but now is not responding to attempts to use credit card for that.

The apartment is very well located in the charming port of La Darse in Villefranche sur mer. We really enjoyed the calm and serenity of the place. It was a pleasure enjoying the sunny terrace every morning for breakfast. In the evening, the view of the lights of Villefranche offers a rare sight from the veranda that acts as a living room. The area is full of nice coastal walks easily accessible by public transit; Nice, Menton, Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat, Eze, Monaco. We had a lovely stay.
