This apartment in Surry Hills is really great, well equipped and in very good neighborhood. Close by are shops and restaurants and just around the corner there is central station that can take you essentially anywhere. Host is fantastic and always helpful. Certainly recommended when visiting Sydney.

Location was great for transport, kitchen well furnished, close to restaurants and supermarket. apartment cleanliness needs improvement, carpets looked like they have not been vacuumed in a while showing dirt, bed covers and linnens had stains on it. no paper towels provided and no additional trash bags.

Had a lovely stay apartment was nice clean and well equipped with the usual essentials, few minutes to the tram and train which was amazing getting around Sydney and so cheap! Hot water went off and they responded immediately on how to fix it with just a flick of a switch would highly recommend! Just one little thing and that was only one set of keys we were a group and just needed that extra set

The location of this house is close to light rail, central station, restaurants & nice surroundings. You can tell the building is an old building & in the house is dusty. There is no elevator going to second floor & we have to carried our huge luggages all the way to second floor by the stairs. Other than that, the house is perfect.

Overall, there was no problem using it, but when I went into the accommodation, there was hair or garbage to see if the carpet wasn't cleaned. And there was a lot of smell on the bedding or the cushions on the sofa, so it looked like they needed to be washed. The location was also in Surry Hills, so I thought it would be okay, but the traffic was more ambiguous than I thought.

Surry Hills Haven was a perfect place for our friends and us to gather and explore Surry Hills, RedFern and Sydney! The Haven has a very comfortable living space and kitchen table with ample seating for sure. The kitchen is well stocked, beds comfortable. If you need air conditioning , this is not the place, however with that said we were able to open both sliding glass doors to get a cross breeze that was was very comfortable. Kay and Shay are very responsive to questions and helpful. We highly recommend this airbnb and hope one day we would be able to return ourselves.

We were a group of 6 staying for a week. Great location and a short walk to public transport, which was great! 2 bedrooms were comfy, the fold out bed is not ideal for a week but made it work. The La'Abode are responsive and assisted with keys promptly.

The size and condition of the house is very good. The location is a little far from the station, so you have to walk, and there is a disadvantage that the wifi is slow. Furniture and bedding are clean and well equipped. The response from the host is a little slow It was nice to be able to live in a clean and well ventilated place.

Group of 5 from 2 families for a 5 night stay (ages 50+ and 1 child) Pros: -5 minute walk to train and light rail -great eateries a stroll away -Coles 12 minute easy walk -garage parking offered, the kitchen was fully equipped and the unit was very clean Cons: -4 towels provided (was told via messaging that only 1 towel was provided for each bed configuration- once I reminded the host that we had more than 4 people booked, I was then offered reimbursement for the towel I stated I would need to buy) -no bedding for fold out sofa (noted too late at night to bother with making much of a fuss due to towel back/forth but did communicate this) -hot inside unit (in the listing it does state ‘no aircon’) -unable to access any TV channels (but wasn’t there to watch it) Netflix - you have to sign into own account -1x comfortable 2 seater fold out couch (other chairs not suited for relaxing) -access to garage was initially very frustrating (but also a bonus as this was not in listing)

Great location! Nice place. However, would not recommend during spring/summer stays. No A/C; no windows for ventilation, fans provided little to no relief and we’re filthy and rusty. Security screen lock’s on patios were broken so you had to choose between safety or cool air. Miserable to come home after walking all day to a hot apartment. Did not enjoy!

The photos showed a second lounge chair but there was only one. That along with the small couch provided room for only three of our four adults to share the lounge space. There was not adequate shampoo, conditioner, or soap for our visit. I brought this to their attention immediately and the dropped off some groceries, three bottles of hand soap, and a giant bottle of hand lotion. While I appreciated the gesture and quick response the groceries were not useful to us and there was no soap or shampoo.

It was a good stay, because we arrived early on the day of check-in, the host could let us check in early after asking, so that we could check in early to have a good rest, the house was clean and well lit, The environment is also very comfortable, about a 10-minute walk to the central station, there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby for easy shopping, and the host is very responsive, which made us feel at ease.Pretty recommendable house.

Overall, the team was very responsive. The location is amazing and the apartment (with two patios!) were great. Would stay here again! However, AC was advertised but was not available—there were plenty of fans in the space but no air conditioning. In addition, the apartment was not super clean upon arrival, particularly the carpeted floors.

I loved my 6-week stay here. There were some accidents during my stay (through no fault of the owners), and it was handled with great communication and proactive work in a timely manner. Surry Hills is a spectacularly safe, welcoming neighborhood and this apartment was the perfect walkable distance from the train station. Great choices for food options, coffee shops and bars nearby made the extended stay even better. Thank you so much for opening your place for me and others to enjoy, I would have stayed even longer if I was able.

This was a perfect location to stay in Sydney. Trams are only a 5 minute walk away, there are local pubs and cafes within walking distance, and it's only a few stops to Circular Quay and all the main tourist hotspots. It's also handy for the airport being close to rail links. The apartment itself is really well presented, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked (including a coffee pod machine), there are two bathrooms with good hot water pressure, and the beds are really comfortable. We got our coffee each morning from Cook and Archie's (literally a two minute walk away), which was also great for breakfasts. And Li'l Darlin (5 minutes walk) makes amazing pizzas and cocktails. We would be happy to stay here again.

We LOVED our stay! Beds and pillows were comfy. The beds kept us nice and warm on the cold nights and the heaters came in handy in the morning outside! Excellent location to access public transport. The tram and train stations are just a few minutes walk away and we always felt safe walking to and from our place with our boys. Great communication with the host and super easy check in/out process. Would definitely recommend!

The house is beautiful and at perfect location and the pricing was quite good. The only downturn is that if you have your own car then the street parking is just 1hr. Overall we were quite happy and would recommend without a car!

Very stylish and spacious apartment in a great location right next to central station. Plenty of local cafes for coffee and breakfast and a supermarket about 7 minute walk away. Beds are very comfortable and showers very powerful. We would recommend this place as a great base to explore the city. No air-con, which was a little bit of a struggle but fans provided for each room.

Really great stay. Nice home, stylish and modern, close to a few restaurants. The host was very responsive and left nice tips on the neighborhood and things to do. A little far from the main Sydney attractions, but definitely a cute local neighborhood with plenty of character.

The apartment is really cozy and nice. It is quite close to the centre of Sydney. In Surry Hills you can find a lot of nice bars and restaurants. We had a great stay in this apartment and would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful little two bedroom apartment. Very stylish with a lot of handy amenities. Bit disappointed that is is advertised to sleep six people, however the double bed , fold out lounge had no bedding... no pillow, sheets or blankets. We had to sleep with the single bed decorative blankets from the single beds with no sheets on the mattress. Also you are instructed not to have any shoes on the carpeted bedrooms however the balcony door in the lounge room is screwed shut so you have to go through the main bedroom but there is no door mat and unfortunately it rained all weekend so left everyone stuck walking through the carpet carrying their shoes.

Awesome location! Neighborhood is very peaceful and the right kind of quaint. Walkable to a lot of nice cafes, restaurants, convenience stores and the train station too. The house has great interiors so the photos did not disappoint. Beds were really comfy and the cozy and chic living room and dining area made us just want to stay home most of the time 😍 I guess points of improvement would be having a full length mirror (for the ladies), more hooks in the bathroom, and having hangers in the closet. We also arrived 30 minutes earlier to our 2pm check-in but was surprised to find the place still uncleaned. The cleaners arrived 15 minutes before check-in so we had to step out for a bit to make sure they clean the place well. Since the owner is a group/company response time to calls took a while coz I had to go thru a customer service hotline too.
