We absolutely loved our stay at the Novo Luxury Apartment in Penguin! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of town with some of the best views in Tasmania, whether it’s a bright sunny day or a moody, stormy afternoon. The apartment itself is beautifully curated, luxurious, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Despite a few hiccups with the property managers when booking through another platform, our experience was much smoother when we re-booked through Airbnb. Special thanks to Jenny, who was especially helpful and made everything easy. A quick note for future guests: the apartment is accessed via stairs, and the charming old floorboards can creak a bit. This might be something to consider for elderly guests, those with accessibility needs, or families with very young children (who may be easily woken by the creaks in the floorboards!). Otherwise, it’s an A+++ experience all around. Highly recommended!

5/5 for property. - great location and clean/comfortable. - was perfect spot for directors annual general business meeting. 0/5 for management processes. - unreasonable policy for check in. Included being hassled on check in day (4 x phone calls from management with broken english) demanding photographs and photo ID’s of guests prior to release of keys. - multiple texts during stay regarding rubbish removal and general cleanliness threatening extra charges.

Additional rules
1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.
