We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The location is peaceful, with stunning views across the water - enjoying our morning coffee while watching the sunrise across the water was one of our highlights. The cottage was beautifully presented and equipped with everything we needed for our stay - including the right amount of firewood to keep us warm during our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, but note there are concertina doors that separate the bedrooms. It wasn’t an issue for us, but certainly something to be aware of in terms of privacy. We also noticed there was no heating in the bathroom or available power outlet to plug in a heater (or a hairdryer). Not ideal in winter, but we made do. The hosts provided clear communication and made the whole experience seamless from check-in to check-out. Overall, it was a great cottage and we would certainly stay again.

We had such a lovely stay here as a group of four and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The location is beautiful and quiet, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax, especially in the spacious hot tub which was definitely the highlight! The hosts also included so many thoughtful touches that made the space feel welcoming and homey, such as pantry staples, snacks and even milk in the fridge. It really felt like they had gone out of their way to make it a great experience for us. The only small feedback I would give is that the bedrooms are separated by a sliding door rather than fully enclosed wall, so there is a little less privacy when sharing the space. It wasn’t an issue for us but something worth noting depending on who you are travelling with. Such a nice stay and we would happily return!

L'Abode Accommodation has everything inside! Even our family stayed here for 5 days, we still hope to stay here longer. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped with kitchen supplies. And outdoor hot tub experience with ocean view & stars was absolutely no where to find. The staff is also very helpful who supports our problem instantly and friendly. There are some decent restaurant/ IGA supermarket in 10min. drive, location is very peaceful and quiet, also reachable to shops. Thanks very much for the host, and we very much hope to come back!

Absolutely amazing!!! We stayed with 2 kids and they never got bored once with the large yard, amazing hot tub, the rocks and shells they can collect along the beach and the movie room was a real hit. would definitely recommend!!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to just sit back and unwind this is it. Probably one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and we will be back. The surrounding areas are beautiful and well worth the visit however after the first night relaxing in the hot tub and having the best nights sleep of your life you’ll probably just want to stay in.

We had a wonderful stay! The place offers a spectacular view, and we loved spending time by the river. The backyard is huge, perfect for relaxing and we even spotted bunnies and several species of birds. It added such a peaceful, natural touch to our stay. I had a wonderful stay at Stargazers Cottage! The house itself is beautiful, cosy, and warm – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was an absolute highlight, especially in the cold weather, and the view is simply breathtaking (photos really don’t do it justice!). The location was convenient too, only about 15 minutes to Beaconsfield where you can find everything you need. The only downside was the level of dust in the home, particularly on the couches, which triggered some allergies. A deeper clean would make this place perfect. Overall, it’s a stunning spot to unwind and soak in the scenery – we’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful retreat!

Stargazers Cottage was so beautiful, situated right on the water on a huge private property. We loved watching the galahs, swans and water birds fly past while we soaked in the hot tub or sat on the deck. We even saw a seal out in the bay. It was comfortable and peaceful. The cinema room and games collection went down well with the 9 year old. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, two nights just wasn't enough!

Very serene bayside residence with a great view, worth spending a day just to see the ocean at different times of day. However it is only suitable for couples, as the soundproofing between the bedrooms are close to none, amplified by the bare and echoey walls.

The Stargazers Cottage was truly an amazing experience. Incredible views and a real home like feel. Would highly recommend staying here if you enjoy looking up at the stars next to the fire of an evening. The only downside is having no washing facilities and the nearest one being a bit of a drive and the machines there aren’t very good but other than that our time here was 10/10! Thank you so much! We had an incredible time at Stargazers Cottage with my parents. The view was incredible and woke up to a beautiful sunrise everyday! The hot tub was the best, even in the middle of summer! The only recommendation I would have is to put a BBQ on the front deck as there is only one pan to cook with in the kitchen and ensure that there is at least some dishwashing liquid to clean up dishes with. All in all it was a great spot and we will definitely be back in the future!

Had a great stay, was our first stop on our Tasmania trip and it didn’t disappoint. Hot tub was great and on our clear night the star gazing was fantastic. Was also well located to take in some of the northern sites. Had no issues finding the place at all and was an extremely cosy home with the fireplace and an endless supply of precut wood and kindling if needed.

We stayed for a special 50th birthday with my sister and her hubby. It was great waking in the morning for a sunrise hot tub, even though it was 3 degrees. Great layout with quality furniture. The bed was a little firm for my personal preference but was super warm with that duvet. I can’t wait to return in the warmer weather to enjoy a swim directly in front of the cottage.

My partner and I had a delightful stay at the Stargazers Cottage. It is a very special location and waking up to sounds of the abundant wildlife and water lapping is a dream. The hot tub is a perfect way to relax. The nearby Greens Beach and the West Head Coastal Walk is a great activity, and many wallabies can be seen. We also took a Tamar Valley Wine Tour with Terry and had a sensational day. Terry's door to door pick up and drop off from and to Stargazers cottage was excellent service. We found the Wilkes IGA Supermarket at nearby Beaconsfield stocked everything we needed and the adjacent Miners Gold Brewery has some delicious brews. A visit to Beauty Point is also well worthwhile. Coming back to Stargazers after a busy day was always a delight and watching the stars at night was incredible. Thanks to the team at L'Abode Accommodation for their arrangements and instructions. Highly recommended.

PERFECT is the word for Stargazers Haven. We felt so much at home with the way the house is decorated, the layout of the beautiful colorful flower and fruit garden, and oh my, the hot tub is the perfect addition to the whole thing. We watched the sky colors change at sunset and the moon rise at night while immersing in the perfect temp water. What a place! On top of it , Lisa was so caring and so good at communication. The bedrooms are cozy, the kitchen - well equipped and easy to navigate. The TV room is very nice, and by having it in the middle of the house, there is no outside light interfering with the screen. The hot tub is very nice. After 90 minutes we forced ourselves to get out. It is a super, post-hike, relax point. Be sure to have a look at the night sky, it's stunning. With roughly 100 AirBnb stays, this is one of our favorites. We hope you enjoy it too.

We had an absolute amazing two nights at Stargazers Cottage. The cottage itself is well appointed and very roomy despite being labelled a cottage. The hot tub on the deck topped off the luxe feel, and that view, wow. The angle to see Low Head, the mouth of the river and out to the Strait is incredible to say the least. This place feels a world away, easy to disconnect. Plenty of wildlife to view as well! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking at this listing,and will be passing on this recommendation to our family and friends! Thank you

This accomodation is stunning. A great place to unwind and relax. Come prepared as local shops are about 10 minutes away but once you are there you can completely u wind and relax. We have two children and they loved running around the property. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I hadn’t heard back so followed up via email 45mins later. I then was told there was linen. It was at the end of a long day driving and not ideal…. Beautiful home, well-appointed and some nice freebies (like snacks and wine) thrown in, which I wasn’t expecting. A great base to explore Tamar Valley, Green Beach (just 15mins away) or chill out at home. The cinema room is a great back-up for the weather is crap outside and can’t enjoy the hot tub. There is enough toilet paper and dishwashing liquid for people on longer stays. There are no tea towels, but there are paper towels. The check-out guide says to throw rubbish in the big bin, but I couldn’t find it for the life of me. If there are big bins, it’s not located close to the house that I could see.

This is a lovely peaceful retreat that’s completely private and away from the hustle and bustle. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. We used it as our base for exploring the Tamar Valley Tasting Trail and Cradle Mountain. It’s a long way from anywhere (remote countryside) but we enjoy the driving. The bed was beautiful and comfortable and late afternoons snuggled up on the lounge looking out to the river was very relaxing! The home cinema seemed a bit pointless as we were only really able to access the television, and the internet connection was terrible so even listening to music using our own phones and speakers was problematic. A minor problem really as the location was so nice and we spent much of our time exploring the area.

A really beautiful place to stay! Super picturesque and relaxing. It gets very cold in winter (and this is coming from Canberrans). The second bedroom is only separated by bifold style doors and receives a really strong draft from the bathroom. The fire is fabulous but slightly stressful if you have young children/babies.

Place was great, host was super responsive when we needed more firewood. We loved the views and the decor of the place, felt very cosy and well put together, very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to self-cater. WiFi extender was a bit erratic but we tethered on Telstra 4G and that was enough for us to work remotely during the week.

This is a lovely property re location and privacy ...close to the North East vineyards, Bay of Fires, Jantz, Pipers Brook and also close enough to Barnbougle with spa, restaurant and golfing. It heats up well especially the living room areas. A heater and a powerpoint in the bathroom would be welcome for winter stays. Good to have charming touches such as the record player. The internet is awful and makes cinema viewing very frustrating. However, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend the experience.

This property is in an absolutely beautiful, isolated setting. The owner, Lisa, has decorated the property beautifully and all the appliances are of a very high quality. Very importantly, the bed is extremely comfortable. During our stay, however, we experienced a few issues with the property which we brought to the company’s attention. We also had issues with communication as the company has advertised their property on AirBnB but used their own systems, so often did not respond in a timely manner to messages sent using the AirBnB app.

A place worth the money if you want special and out of the ordinary. Isolated but beautiful. Not to far from necessities a ten minute drive. 15 mins into Beaconsfield. And plenty of wineries, and little attractions surrounding you all within easy drive. It’s somewhere where you may just want to stay put for the day and soak it all in. Clean. Beautiful. Carefully thought of set up and little additions to make your stay relaxing, comfortable and special.

What a memorable escape from Melbourne after a rough few years! The house and location are just stunning, and had everything you could possibly want (though the internet wasn’t working properly for us, but we just hotspotted so we could still use the projector) We really appreciated the huge box of toys for the kids (4.5yo and nearly 2yo), and had a great time exploring the beach and gardens. Relaxing on the patio in the sun (and silence!) was just what the soul needed. The only thing we would suggest is some plastic (ie unbreakable) bowls etc for kids. Will certainly recommend to our Melbourne friends!

This house really has the “ wow” factor both inside & out. From the moment you enter the dwelling it becomes obvious that you are in for an amazing experience. The house is so vey welcoming, comfortable, beautifully decorated & the owners have thought of everything that anyone may require during their stay. The reverse cycle heat pump & the wood burner ensure that you are cosy & warm. The house is meticulously clean. The bed is very comfortable & linen & doona choice add to a perfect night’s sleep. All the little extras provided were appreciated & reflected the generosity of the hosts. The view was the “ wow” factor outside but the artistic talent of the owners certainly enhanced the outdoor sitting area with the addition of comfortable seating, extra cushions & an attractive lavender garden edging the deck. The views over the Tamar River were forever changing & we were fortunate to see a cargo ship coming into Bell Bay. The surrounding environment had so much ambience & the sheep grazing on the grass certainly added to the relaxing scene. the house was so beautifully appointed with thoughtful and luxurious furnishings. walking in felt like I was in a high end magazine. the natural light, the view and the functional lay out. loved looking at the moon and stars through the telescope and enjoying a movie in the cinema room (not to mention snacks provided). The bed was large and super comfy. the only thing I would say about the house is be prepared to drive for dinner/ lunch in winter as a lot of things had limited hours or weren't open many days of the week so travelling a little further for food is essential (but not terrible). We made use of the kitchen a lot of the time which was great because you won't want to leave this place! the sheep are also very friendly!

Amazing accommodation! We arrived at sunset and the view from the living room was gorgeous - with a large lawn overlooking the water. The house was clean, well decorated, comfy and had basic provisions that was very helpful as we cooked breakfast. Would absolutely recommend this accommodation, and would love to stay again

An amazing stay!! Everything was perfect, all amenities and rooms were complete with lovely touches, such an incredible spot to relax and the location is stunning, especially at sunset and sunrise. Will definitely be staying again on our next visit!

This place is magical. The view is simply stunning and it puts you straight into relax mode. They have many thoughtful touches and the place really feels like a home. The perfect getaway for a couple and even has room for two more if needed. We found it was also great spot to explore from. We sampled many of the wineries in the area and couldn't wait to get back to our accommodation to relax in the evenings. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Stargazer is picturesque, cosy, clean and well located. Although there are no restaurants close by, the area itself is beautiful ,with walks and wineries not too far away. We enjoyed eating in, in the evenings and the morning views.

Serenity peace and quite does not get much better. A wonderful get away from it all experience in a tastefully appointed cottage right on the sea. The lamb was adorable and a very cute addition to the entire experience. Thank you

Gorgeous house and fantastic location! I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone and would definitely stay here again in the future. The furnishings were beautiful and everything was very comfortable. The garden was fabulous and we even cooked a couple artichoke and asparagus! The location was great - very secluded but not too far from Launceston. I highly recommend the Saturday market in Launceston and we absolutely loved Loira Vines vineyard. We really enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back!

Awesome place to stay if you’re looking for a little paradise away from everything! Lots of cool little features like the theatre room make the difference. Just remember it’s a good hour from Launceston and from most things you’ll want to see and do so make sure you don’t mind a drive if you book this place!

What a Gem! Stargazers is the place to stay if visiting Launceston/Tamar Valley region. This accommodation is about 45 minutes from the center of Launceston and it's a really pretty drive which makes it feel like mere minutes have passed. 10 minute drive to Beaconsfield which has all the amenities you need for a long or short stay (IGA, post office, butcher, cafes, brewery and historical sites). The biggest thing I noticed is that it's not as far out as I expected and found it easy to fill in time touring the area. The cottage is private and feels safe which was really important to me as I was travelling alone. Stargazers cottage is the perfect mix of style, sophistication and comfort. It caters for long or short stays and was a perfect base for my 8 nights. I can imagine a small family, couples or singles enjoying this space. Picture perfect end to my Tassie trip and will be back for sure! This is my favorite AirBnB ever and I've stayed in many.

We have spent a wonderful times and memories in the house. It is very clean and tidy which make us relaxed. And the host is nice and will answer our problems fast. The check in and out progress are very easy as well. I highly suggest that you should have a vehicle coz it is super far away from the town.

This is a really stunning house in a breathtaking location.We enjoyed sitting outside and appreciating the views.The cinema room is a fantastic touch.Oh and the bed is just incredible,you might find it difficult to get yourself out of it!

The stargazers cottage is a stylish house located at a quite water front. We enjoyed the view a lot. It is very relaxing to sit on the front deck facing the lawn and beach. The king sized bed is comfy. The host was very kind to take care of our laundry. It is a bit too cold to take shower in a bathroom without heating in winter time. Also, the bbq stove located in the bush which is not very convenient to use. We cooked by the oven but there is no exhaust fan. The smoke from the oven would trigger the smoke detector. And this would make the house smelly for a while. Overall the decoration of the property is very nice and worth the money. It would be more enjoyable in summer than winter.

This is a really beautiful property and place to stay. The location is superb, and the cottage is luxurious yet welcoming and supremely comfortable. It includes some very hi tech features, a myriad of thoughtful and personal touches, views to die for, and is in an area full of interest. We felt special and cared about - everything was cosy and perfect. The beds were fabulous!

Probably the nicest airbnb I've stayed in. Absolutely stunning place, the cottage is beautifully decorated. Very secluded and peaceful area, sitting out on the decking with a drink looking over the river was amazing. The double bed is large and really comfy, best nights sleep on our trip. Unfortunately we had a cloudy night when we stayed so no star gazing for us but imagine it would be great. Instead, we made use of the fantastic cinema room which is set up with apple TV and smart TV so we could just stream a movie from my phone, really easy. We drove up from Launceston stopping at a few wineries in the Tamar Valley before getting to the property which was great and broke up the drive (although it's not a long drive!)

Absolutely stunning, private space in Clarence Point. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle and relax in a beautiful space on the River. Check in is very easy, but do be aware that you are quite isolated so bring your food etc for the stay. We loved the cinema room, and wine and nibbles on the deck in the afternoon.

We arrived late at night.. it was dark already. The light was switched on for us, and the fire ready to go. We came into a beautifully renovated house.. with great style and extremely clean. The best part came the morning after: we woke up to a brilliant view on the water and an incredible garden around the house. Had we known how wonderful the house and the area are, we definitely would have booked more than a night. Amazing place, very friendly hosts.. highly recommended!

Beautifully styled and furnished accommodation with stunning views - you can even see the lighthouse shining at night which is lovely. Very fast wireless internet compared to other accommodations in Tasmania we have been in and bedding was comfortable. We were there on a cold day but no issues keeping warm with both fire and reverse cycle working very well. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet getaway and we found exactly that, and so much more. This house is divine - beautifully appointed, styled perfectly, and a quiet oasis. The hosts were wonderful and checked in with us at appropriate times, and kindly bought us more fire lighters when we needed! We cooked both nights and had everything we needed. We definitely made the most of the cinema room, and very much enjoyed the deck. Cannot recommend enough!

I have travelled the world and this has easily been my most perfect Airbnb stay ever. We were looking for a tranquil place to relax and get away from it all. It was obvious from the beginning how much hard work and effort went into making this place so gorgeous. The small touches and beautiful finishes made this stunning place feel like home for a few days. Lisa was so lovely to meet and willing to help with any questions we had. I can't wait to come back during the summer to enjoy the private beach. I highly recommend staying here.

This place is beautiful. It really is a lovely, beautifully designed space with high end amenities and features. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and so easy to get along with in every way. They live on the same property but quite a way from the house. We felt so much at home here that we did not want to leave - could’ve easily lazed there for the day! (And our stay was during winter - imagine the summer!)
