Absolute little gem for a romantic trip in north Tasmania! You will have plenty to do around but you can also easily stay in your bubble by not going out of this lovely airbnb! We recommend at 100%

The property is a little piece of paradise. So peaceful with beautiful surroundings and a view across to Low Head. The chateau is situated on beautifully kept gardens which you have to yourself as the main house is not let out at the same time. We loved the pizza oven, fire pit and hot tub and there was comfortable outdoor furniture. The chateau was very well thought out and made the most of the space. Very comfortable bed and plenty of space for your clothes as we had a 3 night stay. Thoughtful pantry items included and comfortable sofa. The bathroom was pristine. All in all a fabulous stay we would recommend in a heart beat. There are other properties available here but this is fabulous for 2 - we hope to return. Thank you!

Gorgeous view and endlessly peaceful. Hot tub is divine - nestled in under a flowering blossom tree with lots of great birds to spot and glistening river views. Furnished very nicely inside. Comfortable bed and a range of pillows to find one that suits your preferences. Was easy to find and easy to access. The place has a light and modern aesthetic but finishes are quite rough. On our second day a gardener arrived without warning and spent most of the day moving around the property doing work which impacted our ability to relax and use the outside space privately. Although good contact from the host is ideal, I felt the contact was too much. In total, I was contacted 16 times by the host via Airbnb platform/emails/text messages (only 3 of which were replies to me).

This private getaway at Clarence Point is the perfect spot for a couple's retreat. The accommodation is stylish, neat and has everything you need to unwind. It was super comfortable and felt like a lovely piece of rural luxury. We were there in Spring so lovely weather during the day and when it got cooler in the evening, the split system heating plus the panel heater upstairs heated the place really quickly and it retained the heat nicely. The pizza oven and hot tub were great fun and the views are truly spectacular. There's great walks nearby and plenty to explore all with an hours drive. With great local produce around, we did a bit of cooking ourselves and the kitchen is well set up for this.

Perfect location for a peaceful and luxurious getaway after a few days on the road in our van. Hot tub was a lovely way to unwind in the evenings with lovely water views. We had everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back should we ever find ourselves in Tasmania again.

Had a lovely relaxing stay, would definitely recommend. Although the weather was unideal, we were still able to use the lovely warm hot tub. Clean and well equiped house, in a beautiful and private setting. *Note for those with kiddies: although the listing says “cot” it is a porta cot only, with the usual flimsy cardboard base and no linens. We ended up using the second mattress as a floor bed for our babe instead as the porta cot wasn’t great.

The accommodation is just stunning. I have stayed in a lot of local accommodation & even managed luxury accommodation myself at one point…so based on all of that I have to say that this is by far one of the best places I’ve experienced! Everything I could have wanted was there and was so comfortable & peaceful I had the best sleep in weeks! Thank you for having me, I’ll be back 😁

Had a great stay! Lots of communication from the host with easy instructions and check in details. They also had amazing suggestions for the local area as well that we used. Just really enjoyed how quiet and nice the area and accommodation was. We would definitely come again and recommend to others.

The cottage is secluded and easy to access. All of the advertised extras were in good condition and working order. The cottage was clean and well stocked. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely go back.

We loved our 2 night stay! The location was extremely quiet, perfect sized studio with a beautiful hot tub outside. Was only 12 minutes from Beaconsfield which was great to do our grocery shop and things to do, close to Beauty Point. Accommodation had everything we needed

Unfortunately, my experience with this host was disappointing. After following all checkout instructions carefully, I was surprised to receive a message from the host attempting to charge me additional cleaning fees (to the effect of $6000) - despite no damage or extra mess beyond normal use. These extra charges were not disclosed upfront and felt like an unfair attempt to pass on unsubstantiated costs after the fact. I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and have never encountered this kind of behavior from a host. Travelers should be aware and document everything carefully when staying here, as this host may try to hold guests responsible for property maintenance to an unacceptable level.

Terrific little cottage set back from the water. private and cosy. The hot tub was a clear winner. kitchen had all the amenities needed for a short stay. lovely rain head shower. the location is a little secluded and made for driving 15 minutes to anywhere for food supplies and such. if you're looking to switch off, relax and star gaze by the fire then this is the place for you.

We loved our quiet stay. View and gardens were very relaxing from the hot tub. Amenities were as listed which was helpful. Only downside was the upstairs living space was a bit warm as only had a small window with no fly screen. We had a lovely breeze when open but felt many bugs came in during this time. Had a great night away with our family at the Petite Chateau. Especially loved the hot tub, peaceful surroundings and interior furnishings. Great view of the Tamar River and my son loved fishing near Garden Island. Would stay here again!
