What We Love

This stunning 1847 heritage-listed home combines Georgian beauty with modern amenities. Lovingly restored and updated by the talented designer Belle Bright Project, this gorgeous property is the ideal retreat for an unforgettable get-together, a bridal shower, special family occasion or simply a glorious escape.

The house features multiple living areas — including a formal living room, breakfast room and formal dining room complete with a large entertaining table and vintage drinks cabinet. The large kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a Lacanche oven from Burgundy and beautiful antique platters. Guests can also relax on the covered porch and among established gardens that surround the house.

With six bedrooms, the house comfortably sleeps 12. There are five unique bedrooms upstairs, each with their own charm (think luxe velvet headboards, natural linen drapes and pleasing chandeliers). A final sixth bedroom is found on the lower floor, ideal if you want a little more privacy.

There are also three luxurious bathrooms. The first bathroom boasts a freestanding Rockwell roll top bath, ideal for soaking in your heritage surroundings. The second bathroom is equally exquisite, boasting mountain views, seen from its cast-iron freestanding bath. A third full bathroom with a freestanding bath, toilet and shower is on the lower floor.

The leafy yet central location makes this the ideal choice for exploring Tasmania. Just a few minutes walk from Launceston CBD, you’re moments away from exploring popular eateries, fabulous galleries and the delicious Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market. It is also a perfect base for discovering some of the best wineries along the Tamar or enjoying one of the region’s many scenic hikes.

The property is easily accessible via public transport and ride sharing services. You are also welcome to bring your car, which can be left securely in one of four parking spaces.

- We welcome photo shoots and small, special events with prior permission. Please contact us directly to discuss. Large parties are not permitted.
- Please be mindful of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
- Due to the stairs in the home, Beulah House is not suitable for toddlers and young children. Please reach out if you would like to discuss further.
- L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to decline any bookings should we think the property will be misused in any way.

This is a beautiful character home in the best street in Launceston. It is styled tastefully and to a standard that makes it feel both elegant and homely. We felt right at home here and loved the beautiful garden spaces as it was a perfect sunny weekend. Great amenities and facilities, we had a lovely family time attending a good friend’s son’s wedding.

The house is just beautiful and made our family reunion so much better. The house is filled with lovely paintings and fitting and divine toiletries- could not fault it on any front

    1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
