The communication with the host was excellent—very responsive and accommodating. They were flexible with our requests, which made the booking process smooth and hassle-free. However, the property itself could benefit from some attention. The interior felt a bit outdated, with areas needing repairs or maintenance, and the garden was overgrown with weeds and seemed neglected. Additionally, the air conditioning was not strong enough, which made it difficult to stay comfortable at times. With some care and updates, this place has the potential to be fantastic. While the stay was decent overall, addressing these maintenance issues would make it a much more enjoyable experience.

The property is in a great and peaceful neighbourhood away from the main Hobart area with a great sunrise and ocean view. Property is new with a section in the basement still under construction but amenities are great and as listed. We went over Christmas which is a summer season and A/C is only on the living room area with limited portable fans on site so bedrooms can be quite hot in the arvo but nevertheless was a great experience.

It was the perfect place for travelers like us who want good place and space. Its few minutes drive to the central area and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. There was an issue with the beddings and towels which was a big frustration and hassle for us and it was resolved the day after. The housekeeping could do better with the cleaning esp dusting and vacuuming ,and some cooking pots and utensils need to be replaced. We wanted to clean but we did not see any equipment to help us. Overall we enjoyed the stay and our trip to Hobart.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is well appointed, clean and modern. The views are beautiful, and local amenities are not too far away. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet, and the sunsets are spectacular. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Hobart.

    1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.
