The spacious interior boasts a sumptuous ground-floor living space, divided into four glorious rooms. The atmospheric main living room, filled with books, curios and leather armchairs, is reminiscent of the comfort of artists' members clubs forming the perfect space to wind down and relax in front of the TV. If you're looking for a more social entertaining space, this amazing home boasts a second living room. From here you can access the botanical courtyard. Put on a vinyl, throw open the bifolding doors and spill into your sanctuary overflowing with plants for a suave and relaxing escape.

In the middle of this home you'll find a full kitchen, stocked with all you would need for a comfortable stay. Overlooked by an architectural mezzanine landing, this home is flooded with natural light, spilling through to the formal dining for up to 6 guests. The upper floors of this glorious home-away-from-home conceal three spacious bedrooms over two levels. The palatial master is a gorgeous mix of old and new, with a scandi four poster juxtaposing a traditional fireplace.You'll also have access to a private balcony and ensuite with a freestanding bath. The second and third bedrooms are equally delightful and share a family bathroom. There is a further cloakroom on the ground floor. This beautiful, botanical home delivers not only on space, but is unbeaten on style.

In the heart of Newtown this home is a fabulous base for short or long stays. Explore the densely clustered offering of bars, restaurants, cafe and pubs, from cheap student dining offering pad Thai for under a tenner, to high-end restaurants from celebrated chefs that are dotted along King Street or wait until after dark to delve into the alluring nightlife scene that is the heart of this area. There is ample choice for the epicurious, but we must mention, GiGi's for some of the best pizza we've tasted, followed by a couple of drinks at Bar Planet, locals' favourite, just a short walk away.

The Neighbourhood
- Grab drinks from PnV Wine Merchants or a local bar and head to Camperdown Memorial Park to sit in the sun and watch the dogs with all the locals.
- Known for its DIY arts and music scene, there are too many inspiring local galleries and popping venues to explore. Vanguard is one of the best with a rotating roster that will get your feet tapping.
- Ideal for exploring the inner west suburbs or watching a show or concert at the Enmore Theatre.
- Explore the amazing food along King Street. If you spot a queue, it's probably for the Italian Bowl, an authentic crowd-pleasing pasta spot that's not to be missed.
There are great public transport links around this property, and you're welcome to bring your own car. If you don't have a car we recommend a number of car-sharing apps such as Uber and Taxify.

We loved staying at L’Abode! Everything felt like home, location was unbelievable. We walked everywhere and it was nice to come back in the evenings to rest and unwind. Thank you again!!

A perfect place and location for a birthday getaway with family. Spacious, clean, and easily walkable to locations and public transport. Tranquil, peaceful, and a snuggly lounge to watch movies. Great communication with host.

The location is great in terms of access to transit and restaurants, cafes, shops etc. there’s some evening noise, but nothing crazy. The home itself feels quite busy and lived in within the common areas (some would find cozy, others may find cluttered), then much more clean, open and untouched on the bedroom levels. I definitely wouldn’t recommend for young children as there’s no space for them to play and lots of fragile things we had to put away.

    1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
