The host, Jenny, was extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. The apartment is really lovely and gets lots of beautiful sunlight. We thought it was even nicer than the photos. The interior is extremely clean, new and well organized. The guest instructions give fair warning that pigeons often perch on the patio and leave their droppings behind. During our stay I saw that birds left droppings everyday but we didn’t use the patio so it didn’t bother us. We enjoyed our stay here immensely.

The veranda was full off bird droppings, could not seat there because of this problem. Unfortunately we locked ourselves out of d apartment so we got on to the management company & they gave us d wrong code for the lockbox for the emergency key, so we had to book hotel for the night, not a happy customer

Stayed here for one month. L’abode made very clear instructions for check in and were great communicators. I was blown away with the apartment - it’s huge. Feels so much bigger than in the pictures. TV is massive and has Netflix etc. Wi-Fi was 26mbps download. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen had all the amenities I could have needed. They left a selection of food and bits upon check in which is the nicest I’ve ever had, plus toiletries. The sofa is super comfy, I fell asleep on it a few times. The road can be noisy at times (bin vans and road cleaners go past in the early hours and are loud). The location is INCREDIBLE. The main part which really isn’t acceptable is the terrace/balcony. As others have mentioned before, there is literally no way to enjoy it because… I’ve never seen so much bird poop in my life. I’d wash it off and 24hrs later it’s all be back again. So if you don’t intend to use the terrace, it’s a great apartment :)

This place was perfect for our little vacation. Excellent location for a walk to the beach, transit, grocery store, liquor store, a variety of restaurants and pharmacy. The unit had everything we needed and more. Comfy bed in a large open space upstairs, 2 bathrooms, nice bright kitchen with everything you need to cook, in-unit laundry, huge sunny windows that were easy to close for privacy. The host was responsive and pleasant to deal with. It was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy, classy and convenient place to stay right beside Coogee Beach.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment is stunning and very well appointed. The location is perfect and so close to everything you need. We love to stay in Coogee when visiting Sydney and from now on this will be our preferred place to stay. Please do not let other reviews that mention bird droppings on the balcony deter you from booking here as it is really a non-issue and you will miss out on a great apartment!

Our stay at Coogee Sea Salt 8 was was 7 nights over the 2023/24 New Year eve period. The interior of the apartment is more or less as advertised. Its clean, comfortable with and with decent good conditions furnishings. Plus the location is great too. However, during our stay we couldn't use the balcony. Upon arrival we noticed the balcony was dirty with pigeon droppings, so we washed the balcony floor and furniture with the brush and water hose and can provided. We wasted our time! By the following morning the balcony was dirty again from pigeon droppings. This apartment is two storeys high, and the local street pigeons nesting plus roosting in the steel gantry above the balcony, they're messing all over the balcony. The upper storey windows are streaked with pigeon mess. Additionally, the overhead steel gantry is covered is covered in dried pigeon droppings which blow down adding to the fresh muck. Disappointingly we could have dinner New Years eve on the balcony as planned.

The apartment is in a great location close to shops, restaurants, transport and the beach. It is modern inside with good space. Hosts were very responsible with good communication and easy check in and out. Parking space was also very handy nearby. The downside was the noise - it’s right on the main road with garbage trucks emptying the restaurant bins at 3am every day and people in the street when the bars close. Bring earplugs if this bothers you! As other reviews have said, there is also a problem with birds on the balcony - a lot of bird poo on the floor and balcony furniture so we couldn’t really sit outside. It did not seem this had been cleaned before check in despite being raised as an issue by other occupants before. Great apartment if location is your main thing!

Great location and high specification apartment in terms of finishes, appliances etc.. and nice welcome gifts which were unexpected. Even better if would have been a baby chair available as it’s a faff having to hire one. Do note whilst quiet during the week, on the weekend there is nightlife on the street / in joining flats which caused some disturbance. Would suggest packing ear plugs.

This place was in a great location for bars, restaurants, cafes and other amenities, 2 minutes from the beach, a personal driving space if no one is parked in it, which guaranteed people always did, but other spaces given and Nev was always a phone call away and helpful. My only concern which I don’t know the remedy for is pigeon poop, now in the guide it does state about the pigeon poop, but not how much. My husband swept up and wash down for the first 4 days so that we could eat out on the balcony but the pigeons either flew down and tried to eat what we had laid out or pooed again, it was relentless, needless to say we gave up trying. Also the drunken youngsters that live/stay in the units especially on a Saturday my only word is horrendous! The agency was very concerned and active in getting repairs done and mess (sick and dirty knickers) cleaned up, I sent in pictures and they were very apologetic. However it does extremely dim what is a beautiful apartment in a great location.

Fantastic place! My only concern was security. There is a code to get in the building and a code to get into the mailbox with the key. A prior guest could use the codes to get in … a chain or bolt lock in the unit would have eased my worries. I mentioned this issue the first day but nothing was ever done in the 5 weeks of my visit.

The apartment was great. With a few adjustments it would have been a 5 star review. The balcony was scruffy - we had to clean it. There were only two small wine glasses and there was not enough cooking equipment - no fish slice (or similar)

I recently stayed in an L’Abode Accommodation apartment and it was a fantastic experience! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a great stay. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The location was also perfect, with easy access to transportation and plenty of great restaurants and attractions nearby. I would definitely recommend this appartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

No need for a car, everything within walking distance. Coogee walk to Bondi spectacular and a must. A couple of spare towels would be handy for longer stays. Netflix an option, as TV is not a smart TV. Otherwise I am being picky, as the place is amazing and all that you need. Balcony quiet nice to sit on and have a drink, left us some goodies on arrival, which is a nice touch.

Great apartment. Very stylish and more importantly comfortable. Very spacious. Very central location, in amongst all the shops and restaurants and very close to the beach. Bed extremely comfortable which was very needed after long busy days being a tourist. Host very responsive when needed

Great location, stylish apartment right in the centre of Coogee. As this is right in the centre, be prepared for noise from the crowds and traffic.
