Very central location in Launceston CBD so everything in the city is at your doorsteps. Google Maps doesn't bring up the street location accurately so did initially get lost - the actual location is directly behind the bus stop on St John street. Pros The unit is very modern, well cleaned and maintained, nicely decored and set up well if you need to cook. Cons No aircon in the master bedroom. The provided portable unit is noisy, did not have a variable fan setting, and no external ducting to push hot air out, so it won't cool the room. We were able to get the bedroom cooler by opening the window but then you can hear all the city noise. If the weather is 24+, it will get stuffy Facing the rear laneway meant we got some pretty major city noise from homeless people sleeping in the laneway, GPO bells between 6am-midnight, hoons on weekends, garbage trucks in the morning. If only we could close the window!

Great central location, but could be noisy at times. The space was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Especially a very well equipped kitchen if you like to cook. We were sent a reimbursement request for a missing vase after check out but we didn’t break and/or dispose of anything so we declined the request. Luckily all got sorted by Airbnb in the end.

Perfect City Stay! This place had everything we needed for a fantastic city getaway. The prime location is unbeatable—walking distance to everything you could want, from shops to attractions. The stylish interior made it feel like a real home away from home, and the massive, comfortable bed was a dream. There are plenty of great places nearby for meals and drinks, and the thoughtful touch of wine and Tim Tams was much appreciated. Everything was clean and well-kept, and it truly ticked all the boxes for an ideal stay. Highly recommend!

    1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).

  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
