Really delighted to have stayed here. The house is really comfortable with a great view. The house feels safe. Situated in a peaceful, good location with access to the beach and shops. TIt is well appointed for kids, and the pool in the back is hours of entertainment but also a really secure cover for when they're not swimming. Braai and kitchen have all you need, and outside table is covered which is great for warm evenings. Windy days are still great outside in winter-garden glass house off the lounge/dining room. We really enjoyed our stay with our 2 and 4 year old kids.

The house is terrific. We felt at home from the very first moment. The house is very spacious and the rooms are very large. The beds are like in a 5-star hotel. Rarely have I slept so well. Our daughter loved the pool and courtyard. The area is very quiet and safe and you are directly on the beach in 10 minutes. Fish Hoek is also the perfect place to explore Kalk Bay, St. James, Muitzenberg and Nordhoek. Laurette was a great host. Communication was perfect. Thanks for the great stay, Laurette.

Laurette was most generous to accept my booking at 18h00 the same day of arrival. Our original Airbnb booking was cancelled by the host hours earlier. Laurette went to the house at 18h00, prepared it and let us in. Was very helpful in that we were in need of a place. The location is very good as is only 2 blocks from town center, grocery store and restaurants. The location is very good for summer holidays as there is a pool and walking distance to the beach. Wood stove in winter makes it warm. Big TV with Netflix and more. Updated kitchen. Big bedrooms. Outdoor cooking area. Great hosts.

The house is comfortable and with everything you need. We loved having the fireplace, pool and BBQ facilities. Some places are already in need of renovation, but overall the experience is good. Laurette is a very responsive and pleasant host. We received a lot of helpful recommendations.

We were 3 adults and 1 toddler. The house was perfect for us. We really enjoyed it. The kitchen was very well equipped and otherwise everything was available. It is not far from the beach and shopping.

Beautiful and clean home in a quiet neighborhood. The back garden is amazing. I visited from Scotland with my two young boys. After a day out, I'd sit under the veranda enjoying the evening sun reading a book while the boys played in the pool. I had some family over for a braai they loved the place too. I would totally recommend this for a family or even some people looking for a private chilled out place. The interior furnishings are great quality - I especially liked the dining table with riempie chairs. Beds were very comfortable. Linen clean and good quality. Lots of storage. Bedrooms and the lounge and the kitchen are all large. The house is spacious. Everything was in the kitchen I needed to cook with. Communication with the host was spot on. Laurette replied to any messages in a couple minutes. I loved this place. We all felt so at home there and really hope to visit again.

What a lovely place and we stayed for a month. The house has absolutely everything you need. Laurette was an amazing host. Always responding immediately to any query we had and really made a huge effort to make sure we enjoyed the stay. The house itself is safe and located in a safe area. The back courtyard and swimming pool are completely private. The pool water itself was very fresh and easy on the skin and eyes. It just felt like a home away from home. Everything worked and we used the dishwasher and washing machine (for clothes). We also enjoyed the outside sitting area and made use of the BBQ facilities. There was always hot water, etc. Just an incredible house and Laurette was an incredible host.

Our stay at this Airbnb home was very good! The location was perfect for exploring the Cape Peninsula, and the modern decor gave a pleasant atmosphere. Laurette's warm welcome was particularly nice and we felt right at home. The uncomplicated handling of check-in and check-out made it easy. The kids loved the little pool, which provided a great way to cool off after a day of exploration. The only small drawback was the somewhat tricky shower with setting the hot water, but overall that did not bother us. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore the Cape Peninsula.

The house is really well designed for a family set up. It has great parking and is located perfectly for lots of family centric activities. We were able to get to beautiful beaches, tourist attractions and vineyards really easily. Laurette was a fantastic host. We had a few teething problems and she always went well out of her way to sort things out for us or to make recommendations e.g. replacing the gas, providing a baby bath without being asked, passing on childminder details. We had a midstay clean which left the house completely spotless, including unpacking suitcases for us which was totally unexpected. The neighbours were also really friendly, we even had a playdate with them. It felt like a really safe, family centred neighbourhood. Overall, a great ten days.

Had a great stay at Laurette’s place! Check in was super easy and effortless. Everything was better than described, a lot more spacious than the pictures show which was great. Love the outdoor area and the little sunroom. The pool is perfect for a dip on a hot day. Bedrooms were comfortable and the lounge was great to enjoy a movie after a long day of exploring Cape Town. The inverter also makes load shedding a breeze. We didn’t even realise there was loadshedding most of the time. You can’t use the cooking appliances, but lights, wifi and the tv all work. The house is within walking distance to the beach, shops and a couple restaurants. Laurette was also very responsive to any questions I had and responded to my messages within minutes. Highly recommend!

We were very pleased with the place. very spacious. The kitchen is more than well equipped. You have a barbecue area, a huge terrace with a pool. Wifi was excellent. We were very pleased with the guest gift.

Lovely home in an ideal location for a family vacation. Spent our time at the nearby beaches and rock pools. Area is laid back and beautiful. Would definitely recommend spending time here. Laurette is amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome

We stayed with our two small children in this accommodation and felt very comfortable right from the beginning. In addition to the loving host gifts, Laurette responded immediately and always very quickly. How could enjoy the pool and terrace. The property offers an opportunity to sit outside in almost any weather. There is the dining area in the shade and the conservatory, which after cooling in the water was a super warming opportunity for the children and from which you also have a great view in the evening. Only the place Fish Hoek is generally not really worth seeing compared to other places nearby in general. For us, this was more of a stopover from which we could explore further excursion destinations. Overall, however, we can highly recommend the accommodation and she was also very clean.

We had a lovely time staying at Laurette's place! everything went super smooth, from the check-in experience and throughout our stay. Laurette was also very helpful and responsive on the phone when we had some questions. We enjoyed the outdoor patio a lot with the stunning view towards the mountain, we didn't use the grill but it seemed fully equipped. We appreciated all the welcoming details that we found as we walked in: chocolates on the bed and a bottle of wine on the kitchen table (a little too sweet for our taste but a very nice touch!). Definitely recommend!!
