The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday meals, with everything you need to feel right at home. A sunny back nook offers a quiet spot to relax with a book or cup of coffee.

With two bedrooms (Primary with king and second bedroom with 2 singles), 100% cotton linen, and thoughtful touches throughout, the house is designed to be easy, warm, and fuss-free: perfect for longer stays or weekend getaways. If you’re traveling with a little one, we can set up a baby cot on request.

Outside, you’ll find a saltwater splash pool and shaded dining area: great for lazy afternoons, a refreshing dip, or laid-back meals with loved ones. It's a comfortable space to enjoy good weather and simple moments.
🔌 Loadshedding Backup
The house is equipped with a battery system that keeps the lights, Wi-Fi, and select plugs running during loadshedding. The kitchen remains connected to the grid, but hot water is available via a gas geyser.

the area is a quiet neighbourhood and as such we have to request that you please respect the neighbours of Fish Hoek. No loud music and shouting after 11pm on weekends and 9pm in the week would be greatly appreciated. This is a NO PARTY venue!

Laurette was most generous to accept my booking at 18h00 the same day of arrival. Our original Airbnb booking was cancelled by the host hours earlier. Laurette went to the house at 18h00, prepared it and let us in. Was very helpful in that we were in need of a place. The location is very good as is only 2 blocks from town center, grocery store and restaurants. The location is very good for summer holidays as there is a pool and walking distance to the beach. Wood stove in winter makes it warm. Big TV with Netflix and more. Updated kitchen. Big bedrooms. Outdoor cooking area. Great hosts.

The house is comfortable and with everything you need. We loved having the fireplace, pool and BBQ facilities. Some places are already in need of renovation, but overall the experience is good. Laurette is a very responsive and pleasant host. We received a lot of helpful recommendations.

Additional rules
Admin is boring so we are sorry for this however, we do have a regulatory requirement in South Africa which requires us to have a “Record of Guest”. We have opted to do this through Truvi in order that the process be super easy for you and that your personal information is stored and protected in a secure manner. You will receive an email or sms from Truvi directly. Absolutely no smoking allowed in the apartment: Should the smell of smoke be detected during the check out clean, you will be fined an additional cleaning fee of R500.00 No noise / parties without exception: Should we receive a complaint, we will communicate with you but upon receiving a 2nd complaint, you will be asked to leave and a refund will not be issued. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises. Should there be a suspicion of such substances being consumed, security / police will be called and if found to be in possession of such substances, you will be escorted off the property and no refund will be issued. No pets allowed: Should an unauthorised pet be detected, you will be fined R500 and asked to leave the property and no refund will be issued. No overnight guests: only the number of guests that have been booked for are authorised to sleep at the property. Additional guests will be charged R1000 per person per night. We respectfully ask that you do not eat or drink in the bedrooms, or move the furniture around excessively. Should any damages be found, a damage claim will be put through to Airbnb for your account. Please take care of the keys: lost keys will incur a R500 fine. - Throw rubbish away

Deposit PolicySecurity deposit of 50% is payable.

Please note a booking is not confirmed or secured until the deposit requirement of 50% has been paid in full. We reserves the right, without notice to the Company / Agent / Guest / Group, to release any booking held where the required deposit has not been paid in full within the stated period.
Should we receive confirmed bookings against provisional bookings, we do reserve the right to contact you to request releasing of the booking and will require a response within 24 hours or the bookings will be automatically released.
A reservation will be held on a provisional basis for 24 hours from the time of booking. The Company / Agent / Guest is required to release provisional bookings in writing by e- mail.
Cancelations
All booking cancellations must be received by email. No show or early departure forfeits 100% of total stay.
Cancellations 14 days or less prior forfeit 75% of total stay.
Cancellations 15 to 30 days prior forfeit 50% of total stay.
Cancellations in excess of 30 days prior will incur a 10% administration fee to cover banking and handling charges.
Please note that we do consider a cancellation on merit: if it is truly beyond the guests’ control, we will charge accordingly.
