The neighbourhood
- All of the famous Sydney sights are on your doorstep. The opera house, harbour bridge and endless shopping streets are at your fingertips!
- Take the short walk to explore Chinatown for some authentic food and a buzzing international vibe.
- For longer days out, take an easy day trip to the coast, via public transport. Bondi Beach is a great trip, with bohemian cafes and surfer vibes.
- Founded in 1935 on the sandhills of North Bondi, this golf course has to be seen to be believed. Boasting amazing views over Bondi Beach, this is a must-see for any avid golfer.
There are great public transport links around this property, and we recommend a number of car-sharing apps such as Uber and Taxify.

Overall, great little apartment in a fab location. However, the logistics were problematic. We booked the apartment for the night before we arrived into Sydney early morning long haul from London, so we could be sure of going straight in. Sadly the place was a mess, had not been turned over after previous guests, dirty, messy, used linen and towels, bins full of rubbish. L’abode did get cleaners in asap but it defeated the purpose of booking the previous night. We were refunded only a very small amount of the rate for that night. Few other glitches: One full set of keys with a lift fob. 2nd set in the apartment did not have a lift fob so it was useless. We had to keep texting and calling each other to go in/out. Very inconvenient. No kettle in the apartment is very strange. Bed linen and towels very poor quality - the king bed was made up with a single duvet put crossways on the bed. Luckily it’s summer in Sydney. Communication very quick friendly but issues were not resolved.

Great central location for exploring Sydney..close to multiple options for public transport and shops for food etc. Check in was easy..location for keys was close and easy to find (a lot better than trying to find key lock box!) Apartment was one of the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Perfect size for a family of 4. Host was always very quick to respond to messages.

The stay was very pleasant and neighborhood is near to attractions. Have some bedding arrangement issue but resolved quickly and does not affect the stay. Overall our family enjoyed the stay very much.

    1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
