We had a lovely time at this home. Such a great location and close to everywhere we wanted to visit. The house was very sweet with a lovely outdoor area that my family enjoyed. Our only problem was very minor and it was that we had a 5 night stay and there was only enough tea/coffee, laundry detergent for a day or two.

The cottage was perfect for a little family get away. It was close to everything in Launceston and walkable to supermarkets, restaurants, shops and parks. It was clean and well presented with a beautiful view of the hills. Whilst parking was a bit tricking the host was excellent at communicating where to park.

This stay was a very pleasant experience. The facilities are well-equipped, and the courtyard is charming and lovely. Taking a walk in the garden in the morning felt especially soothing. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the location is very convenient. If there is one small suggestion, it would be that the mattress is a bit soft for Asian guests, but overall it was still a very satisfying stay.

A cute, cosy cottage. Very central to all the events we needed to attend during our time in Launceston. Clean, tidy and welcoming. We were travelling with my 79 year old parents who struggled a little with the steps into the house, so please consider if mobility issues. A broken lounge chair (well labelled so we didn’t use) and a broken extending bench meant seating for 4 people inside to eat and relax was challenging- but the weather was perfect so we sat outside a lot, including for meals. A lot of history in this little cottage. Would definitely recommend if not accessibility/mobility issues.

Everything was perfect. We asked for a baby cot and when we asked the host for extra linen and blanket it all waited for us. The apartment is cozy, got everything needed and the host provided a list of recommendations that were awesome. If we’ll ever be back to Launceston we will come back for sure!

Our stay at Bluestone Cottage was peaceful. As soon as we arrived, we were impressed by the likeness to the pictures. The cottage was spotless and inviting, and to top it off, we were greeted with a welcome gift. The location was good; we could easily stroll to a variety of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, shops and parks all within a short distance. A lovely home away from home!

My family and I absolutely adored our stay. The accomdation was perfect for us and had space for everyone. The children had their own rooms, a lounge and fully equipt kitchen. We could walk to the CBD and lots of attractions. The space was welcoming and calm. A nice plave to return to after big days. The kitchen was well eqipt and saved us from eating out for every meal. The courtyard was cute and beautiful, offering views of the city while you have your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine. This stay has been absolutely wonderful- cant fault it! Five stars!!!!

The cottage was cute and stylish with lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen. It didn't get a lot of natural light (we were there in late Autumn) and we found the lighting quite dim - perhaps good for mood lighting but not especially uplifting or practical! The location was convenient and parking was easy out the front. We enjoyed our stay, and found the host to be very responsive with a question we had about bed linen. Overall a very comfortable short stay.

This was our second stay at the Bluestone Cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family. The Cottage is cosy and has everything we needed for a pleasant stay, the garden is beautiful. The location is ideal to walk to many places in Launceston, close to the city centre and there are plenty of restaurants and eateries around for food, supermarkets are around the corner. Parking was free in some areas of the street.

Good location although parking is terrible - street only and only 2-3hr zones....ok for us as we were out a lot. The garden was a fun little place for the kids to explore. The heated bathroom floor was the best!

Perfect for our needs staying with our baby. Extremely walkable with pram - there is a flight of steps to the front door but we knew that ahead of our stay based on photos and was still manageable with baby and gear. Lovely to sit out in the garden in the evening.

What a great stay, Bluestone Cottage was perfect for our family of 4's stay in Launceston. Communication was great, access was easy (once you get up the stairs) and the property was spotless and had everything you'd need for a short stay. Beautiful cottage! Such a lovely home, styled nicely and all the necessities you’d need to cook and enjoy your stay in Launceston. An easy stay with children with things like a bath, washing machine, potty, cot, high chair all at the property. The bedding was fresh and warm and the house a nice cozy relaxed feel. We only found out after booking that we’d have to put their council bins out which were both full and heavy, making it even harder to take down the little steps and through the little gate. Id suggest finding another place if you’re elderly, pregnant or have an injury. This was the only downside to our stay. Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay and we’d definitely stay at blue stone cottage again.

Our family came to visit Launceston for the first time and this beautiful cottage did not disappoint. The kids loved the space and backyard. It was great to have a kitchen to cook each night rather than be cooped up in a hotel room. Loved the restaurant options left in the cottage. It was quaint, tidy, cosy, central and great for our first experience there. It was a great stay, thank you!

The location was central and easy to walk into town. The house was mostly clean however the bathroom had toothpaste marks and didn’t appear clean. The only heating in the house is located in the living room and there is no heating in the bedrooms. In order for the bedrooms to be warm, the doors have to be open and the living room split system has to be on maximum making the living area uncomfortably hot and bedrooms uncomfortably cold.

Thank you for a lovely stay! The cottage is well located; walking distance to most places. The garden out the back was divine and the view at sunset was amazing! Parking outside the cottage is only 2 hours so if you’re planning a stay with a car, park across the road as this is free untimed parking which we found out the night before our departure from a lovely neighbour. We would stay again!

Bluestone Cottage was perfect for us, a family of four. Plenty of space to hang out in and outside the cottage, the space was bright and friendly, the kitchen had everything In utensils to prepare a gourmet dinner, there was even a bottle of wine to welcome us. The bedrooms were well sized and super quiet to sleep overnight, the bathroom was clean and spacious. The cottage is well placed to explore Launceston by foot, we had a splendid time and left the car by the cottage most days. Launceston is as well a great base to explore the north of Tasmania. Amazing piece of property with great location! Spacious and beautifully decorated, with fully equipped kitchen. Unfortunately when we were there, the cleaning service employed by the host was not up to standard, forgetting to made up the bed, not cleaning the toilet, etc. Thankfully the host was very responsive and responsible. We did have to clean it up ourselves on the first night but they made sure the cleaner come the next day to make the bed and refunded most of our cleaning fee

It was really nice to have the secluded area at the rear of the cottage & a good view of the city further up the back of the yard. Within 5-10mins walking distance to several restaurants & cafes. This place is a cute little cottage, and yet so much more at the same time. For starters, it's definitely not little, which is helped by a really smart set up of the spaces. The kitchen contains way more than the basics in both appliances and cooking basics. We loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom and the large bath was a delight to soak in after a day of exploring historical Launceston, which is only a short walk away. The lovely garden contains a nice little outdoor setting which has a great view over the city suburbs, perfect for watching the world wake up over a cup of coffee or light up in the evening whilst enjoying a glass of excellent local wine. We'll definitely look up Bluestone cottage for our next visit to Launceston

We had such a great time at Bluestone Cottage! It’s a beautiful old cottage only a few minutes walk from cafe’s, pubs and shops of the city. Keyless entry was really easy, heating in the property was great and instructions were straightforward. Thanks for a wonderful family holiday!

A very beautiful property full of comfort and cleanliness - I could actually live here full time. Loved the heated bathroom floor, well equipped bathroom and kitchen, gorgeous back yard area, cute front verandah we sat on to watch the sun set and Netflix on two TVs if you have time for it. Nice easy walk into CBD, great local cafes, bars and restaurants. Plenty of shops if you need them. Although we did have a car, we walked everywhere as it’s so close! (Even Parkrun on Saturday morning is nearby for those that might be interested). For those with a car, while there is no allocated car spot, 3 free car spots become available around 430/5pm directly out front on the other side of street when local workers finish for the day, so we were never stuck for parking once we knew this pattern - hope that helps others. Loved the suggestions written on the back of the front door - I tried most of the eateries as well as the local adventures - gorgeous town! Will stay here again.

It's a nice place and had everything we needed. Shame about all the mud and dirt in the bedroom which we had to vacuum up. Also being messaged to tell us we had to put the bins out or we'd be fined as soon as we got there left a sour taste. What's the point of paying a cleaning fee if the host ins't fully going to clean up after the last guest.

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful home, oozing character with an interesting back garden. Photos were accurate. It was clean, spacious and had everything you could want. Fast wifi, very comfortable bed ( best one on our trip) well equipped kitchen and some pantry staples available. We loved the location. Easy walk into town lots of coffee shops, restaurants supermarkets close by. We parked our car across the road for free as advised. Highly recommend this property.

Absolutely lovely house in a convenient and quiet spot; tons of great food within 2 blocks and barely 5-10 minutes walk to anywhere in the compact downtown. Very formal/hotel-like host service. The check-in tablet may try to get you to sign up for marketing/service emails from them and another 3rd party but you can skip it.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. You probably won't get a better location, the house itself is very spacious and newly renovated. There are some great suggestions available for restaurants etc. The check-in experience requires you to provide your ID and email prior to arrival.

the garden is fabulous!!! stunning location - close to cbd in a really elegant part of town. it's also a really cute cottage from othe outside. But that's about where the positive review ends. The images of the inside suggests it's nicer and larger than it actually is. it fine if you are visiting for pleasure and only intend to sleep there, but I don't recommend if you plan to spend considerable time or cook therr or anything. The kitchen, while well kitted out, is not very easy to work in. it's fine for 2 people but gets crowded with any more. communication was not fabulous. The internet did not work when we were there. and it was not resolved. Basically it's just overpriced for what it is.

Beautiful location and house, had most things we needed for our stay and enjoyed the view from the top of the garden. Underfloor hearing in the bathroom was great too. Be wary that this is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever experienced. My partner and I ended up sleeping in the single beds for 3.5/4 nights we stayed.

The location was perfect, walking distance to shops and cafes. Plenty of off street parking. Beds were very comfortable and location quiet at night. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful location. Super convenient location and easy to find street parking. The property had everything we needed for our stay and was beautiful as well. No heating in the bedroom but the house was surprisingly warm given the negative temps during our stay.

Beautiful bluestone cottage! We stayed there for 3 nights and loved everything about it. It is in a very good location just 5-10 min walk to the city centre. Very clean, beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and catered for a great stay.

definitely amazing place for all garden enthusiast or fairy tales lovers. The garden is magical with old stone table and bench under the tree. Just stunning also it gets lots of sun:) From the verandah you can see in a distance one of the most beautiful gothic ex churches unfortunately converted into design agency. The has a good deal of necessary kitchen equipment even a hand blander for morning smoothie. The bed very comportable but crazy soft so not a good choice for guests with back pain if they plan on staying for longer period of time. The house manual very carefully designed but bit overwhelming.

This space is amazing, down to the decor and personal touches, we all felt very at home instantly. There was great communication from the host and the check-in process was made very easy. Would easily stay here again as great views and location to explore Launceston!

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Stone Cottage, only wishing our travels allowed us to stay a little longer and soak up more time in the garden and to relax inside. Very comfortable and cosy. Ideal location. All the amenities that a small young family could need. Thank you!
