the area is a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by nature and as such we have to request that you please respect the neighbours. No loud music and shouting after 11pm on weekends and 9pm in the week would be greatly appreciated.
There are baboons in the area that come down from time to time - we do have a great monitoring system that keeps them away from the residential area most of the time but they are sneaky so 1 or 2 can sneak past.
The area is very quiet which adds to the beauty! We ask that you please respect the neighbours and keep noise to an absolute minimum.
No overnight visitors allowed and MAX number of people allowed in the apartment is 4 (2 guest and 2 day visitors)

An Absolute Gem in Simonstown! My partner and I chose Laurette’s Couples Cove BayView for a weekend escape before our move to Cape Town, and we couldn’t have made a better choice! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth, charm, and attention to detail. Laurette’s place has it all — from a fully stocked kitchen (balsamic glaze included!) to the spotless cleanliness and incredible tranquility of the area. It’s a perfect retreat! Laurette’s thoughtful touches made it feel like a true home away from home. She explained everything clearly, and we felt immediately welcomed and trusted in her beautiful space, making check-in and check-out seamless and stress-free. We absolutely didn’t want to leave on Monday morning and are already planning our next stay. Laurette is an outstanding host, and we highly recommend BayView for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Please no 3rd party bookings unless you are an authorised company booking for employees as per the terms and conditions of Airbnb. Absolutely no smoking allowed in the apartment or on the balcony: Should the smell of smoke be detected during the check out clean, you will be fined an additional cleaning fee of R500.00 No noise / parties without exception: Should we receive a complaint, we will communicate with you but upon receiving a 2nd complaint, you will be asked to leave and a refund will not be issued. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises. Should there be a suspicion of such substances being consumed, security / police will be called and if found to be in possession of such substances, you will be escorted off the property and no refund will be issued. No pets allowed: Should an unauthorised pet be detected, you will be fined R500 and asked to leave the property and no refund will be issued. No overnight guests: this property sleeps 2 people only. Additional guests will be charged R1000 per person per night. We respectfully ask that you do not eat or drink in the bedrooms, or move the furniture around. Should any damages be found, a damage claim will be put through to Airbnb for your account. Please take care of the keys: lost keys will incur a R500 fine. - Throw rubbish away

Please note a booking is not confirmed or secured until the deposit requirement of 50% has been paid in full. We reserves the right, without notice to the Company / Agent / Guest / Group, to release any booking held where the required deposit has not been paid in full within the stated period.
Should we receive confirmed bookings against provisional bookings, we do reserve the right to contact you to request releasing of the booking and will require a response within 24 hours or the bookings will be automatically released.
A reservation will be held on a provisional basis for 24 hours from the time of booking. The Company / Agent / Guest is required to release provisional bookings in writing by e- mail.
Cancelations
All booking cancellations must be received by email. No show or early departure forfeits 100% of total stay.
Cancellations 14 days or less prior forfeit 75% of total stay.
Cancellations 15 to 30 days prior forfeit 50% of total stay.
Cancellations in excess of 30 days prior will incur a 10% administration fee to cover banking and handling charges.
Please note that we do consider a cancellation on merit: if it is truly beyond the guests’ control, we will charge accordingly.
