The kitchen is compact but fully equipped, ready for you to create meals that taste like home. Kitchen includes a stove/oven combo, microwave, fridge/freezer combo, kettle, toaster, air-fryer and coffee machine.

Other things to note
Please note that the property is located opposite a train crossing to the beach: they have started using this crossing again and offer a warning toot when they pass. One does get used to it.

The apartment is central and right on the beach front so please expect some passing traffic noise: its a small price to pay for the location.

Laurette is an outstanding host, and her place truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment’s location is unbeatable – right on the beach with a charming bakery just below the unit. The beach view is absolutely breathtaking! I will definitely be back!

Really loved this place! practically right on the ocean, train does come by early in the morning but that helped me and my teenager not oversleeping, cath the first worm so to speak. Very conveniently lovated. Laurette was very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this place

Laurette was amazing! Excellent communication and was on the ball with unexpected renovations that were happening in the building. After a few days of intermittent loud noise she moved us to another place. She responded quickly to any concerns and ensured that we had a wonderful holiday. Fish Hoek is a wonderful location, and the accommodation central. Everything is in walking distance and there are a number of excellent restaurants and grocery stores. I would highly recommend staying here!

Loved the location! Right on the beach so no need to get in your car . A lovely coffee shop at entrance of apartment and a Woolworths food shop 2 blocks down so you just walk. Really great location and very comfortable beds and excellent linen ( always my marker for a good stay ). We were warned in advance of “ train noise “ as it’s literally across from the apartment but this was never an issue as trains don’t run at night . My only negative was the insane street noise late at night with cars being revved and noisy drunk people screaming ( this was only over the weekend I must add) . Otherwise great !

What a great place to stay! Yes, you did have to deal with the train horn early in the morning, but the views were spectacular. Access to the beach fantastic. Good food around you, excellent! this is a great little Airbnb.

Absolutely no smoking allowed in the apartment: Should the smell of smoke be detected during the check out clean, you will be fined an additional cleaning fee of R500.00 No noise / parties without exception: Should we receive a complaint, we will communicate with you but upon receiving a 2nd complaint, you will be asked to leave and a refund will not be issued. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises. Should there be a suspicion of such substances being consumed, security / police will be called and if found to be in possession of such substances, you will be escorted off the property and no refund will be issued. No pets allowed: Should an unauthorised pet be detected, you will be fined R500 and asked to leave the property and no refund will be issued. No overnight guests: only the number of guests that have been booked for are authorised to sleep at the property. Additional guests will be charged R1000 per person per night. We respectfully ask that you do not eat or drink in the bedrooms, or move the furniture around excessively. Should any damages be found, a damage claim will be put through to Airbnb for your account. Please take care of the keys: lost keys will incur a R500 fine.

Security deposit of 50% is payable.

Please note a booking is not confirmed or secured until the deposit requirement of 50% has been paid in full. We reserves the right, without notice to the Company / Agent / Guest / Group, to release any booking held where the required deposit has not been paid in full within the stated period.
Should we receive confirmed bookings against provisional bookings, we do reserve the right to contact you to request releasing of the booking and will require a response within 24 hours or the bookings will be automatically released.

A reservation will be held on a provisional basis for 24 hours from the time of booking. The Company / Agent / Guest is required to release provisional bookings in writing by e- mail.

Cancelations
All booking cancellations must be received by email. No show or early departure forfeits 100% of total stay.
Cancellations 14 days or less prior forfeit 75% of total stay.
Cancellations 15 to 30 days prior forfeit 50% of total stay.
Cancellations in excess of 30 days prior will incur a 10% administration fee to cover banking and handling charges.
Please note that we do consider a cancellation on merit: if it is truly beyond the guests’ control, we will charge accordingly.
