Located 9km due east of the CBD, Vaucluse offers a convenient location to get around Sydney. Stroll to local village shops, Vaucluse Park or experience the tea rooms at Vaucluse House. Swim at sheltered harbour beaches or head to the nearby Watsons Bay Hotel for some famous fish and chips.

We enjoyed our stay. Place was very nice and lived up (or even exceeded) our expectations. Communication with host was always excellent. Location is excellent if you are looking to be in the Rose Bay/Vaucluse area. No parking in the garage but always found street parking. Even during peak season. Interesting/fun house! Overall we loved the place and would gladly return.

Great place in the most beautiful part of Sydney. Bus stops are easy to access which can take you down to Rose Bay (or an easy 15-20 minute walk instead) Convenient location with shops and restaurants just around the corner. The house was great and super relaxing for our 4 night stay. Highly recommended.

Great location but property terribly managed as we let the property manager know the morning after check in that the pool was not working and they contacted the host over 24 hours later, apologizing for being short staffed over the weekend. Given weekend bookings are premium rates this was not acceptable as the owner / host was was only aware of the issue 2 days later. The host came to try and fix the issue on our last day but was not able to address it and apologized but unfortunately it meant our kids could not use the pool the entire stay. One of the main reasons for booking this Airbnb was for the pool since we have a young infant. The place also lacked warmth - owner left notes on pantry items asking guests not to “eat owners food”. Not that we would anyway or if we did, we would replace what was used it’s more the vibe it created wasn’t warm and felt petty since many hosts go out our their way to provide basic food items as a kind gesture like the last Airbnb we stayed at.

Additional rules
1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
