A short drive from the CBD, you're in a more related bayside location, best known for great eateries, gorgeous sunsets and days spent at the Murray Rose Pool, known to locals as 'Red Leaf', a wonderful harbourside tidal pool where you can dive from the wraparound deck and sunbathe on the floating pontoon. The serenity of the stunning water is mixed with the best of city living. Gorgeous boutiques abound, and a new gastronomy scene has put Double Bay on the map.

The Neighborhood

- If you're a keen swimmer, The Murray Rose Pool, known to locals as 'Red Leaf', is a beautiful harbourside tidal pool, which is not to be missed. You can enjoy diving from the wraparound deck or taking a more chilled approach and sunbathing on the floating pontoon.
- 6 minutes from your front door is one of the unmissable Double Bay spots that's making waves on the gastronomic scene; a 100-year-old pub that has elevated their menu (think wagyu burgers and steak) and offers a relaxed and romantic beer garden with delicious cocktails.
- Double Bay has a well-heeled reputation, and this is best-experienced dipping in and out of the designer shopping streets. Transvaal Avenue, Knox, Cross and Bay Streets have an enviable selection of fashion and homewares, as well as being great for people watching.
- Enjoy the harbour views, or take a stroll through Blackburn Gardens, a French-esque seaside location with the calm waters of Sydney Harbour lapping against its narrow stretch of sand. Perched along the park's edge is popular brunch spot, Redleaf Pool Cafe which has incredible views of the harbour.
- There are great public transport links around this property. If you don't have a car we recommend a number of car-sharing apps such as Uber and Taxify.

We loved staying here for the second time. Very comfortable, graciously decorated and appointed and close to great food we would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay here. The place was as advertised. Very peaceful location among the trees. The main part of Double Bay was a very short walk away with all its cafes and restaurants. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a little getaway right in the inner eastern suburbs.

We loved our stay here. The accommodation is immaculately kept and beautifully finished and very comfortable. Check in is easy and the area quiet. We managed to park on the street but there is a two hour parking limit during the day. Plenty of good restaurants and easy shopping just around the corner. Would definitely stay again.

Nice apartment in a great location. We had some trouble with noise from the neighbors and garage below, but the host was responsive to resolving.

    1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
