Sleeping arrangements
The home accommodates up to 9 guests across 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom offers a king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has 2 double beds, while Bedroom 3 is also furnished with 2 double beds. Bedroom 4 features 3 single beds and is designed to be wheelchair accessible. Bathroom facilities include the en-suite in the main bedroom, a wheelchair-accessible en-suite with ramps and rails, plus 2 additional bathrooms down the hallway.

Inside, the living room is centered by a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for gathering after a day outdoors. A TV with Netflix and a selection of books provide options for entertainment and quiet evenings. WiFi is available throughout, with a dedicated workspace for those who may need to stay connected. Cleaning is included on every 2nd/3rd day for each 4 nights booked (excl. Public Holidays and Sundays). Additional is R350 per day & must be requested 48 hrs in advance (subject to availability). Sundays & Public Holidays are double the rate.
DAMAGE PROTECTION
This property is protected by Just Be Lekker (JBL), the travel reputation platform. Guests are required to pay a R800 non-refundable damage waiver fee (R10,000 worth of accidental damage cover) OR have a R5,000 refundable security deposit hold placed on their card to gain access to the property. The guest will be sent a link by JBL to verify their booking.
Please note that should a guest choose the refundable security deposit, a R47 service fee will be charged by JBL. This fee covers the cost of verifying the booking and ensuring the property's protection. Just Be Lekker aims to provide a secure and reliable booking experience for all guests.
While the security deposit / damage waiver fee will be processed 1 day before check-in, we advise you to complete the JBL verification process as soon as possible to avoid any complications with your booking.
LOADSHEDDING
Wellstead runs on solar power and operates completely off the grid. To ensure a smooth stay, we kindly ask guests to use electricity responsibly, especially at night or during cloudy weather.
NOTE
While the farm is fully fenced, the property itself is not fenced to provide guests with an uninterrupted experience of the property. While it is not encouraged and not an ongoing occurrence, please note that the owner's friendly dogs may come say 'Hi' during your stay.
DAM
There are two dams on the property. The larger dam which is ideal for swimming currently has a leak, so swimming will not be possible at this time.

Great views over the valley. Beautiful mountain range you can view from the entrance gate. Lovely large home. Clean and well maintained by the local housekeepers. Beatufil view for a braai and some nice wines. A nice spot to explore the Drakensberg area. A nice grocery, liquor and fuel station at the ned of the road. A visit to the bakery down the road for one of their pies. Best pie I've had !!! Ensure that you get 100% confirmation that your bond payment is both complete and accepted prior to travelling there otherwise the gate won't open for you. The area itself is a must to see. Take a day and drive to Royal Natal National Park or hike the Sentinel Peak & Chain Ladders.

The place was situated in a very beautiful and private location. The views were stunning. It is exactly as the pictures described. Lovely amenities. The only problem is that there are a lot of moths inside the house. The house is very well equipped and has everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay there again!
