What We Love

Catch the lift up to the top floor and find serenity at this two-bedroom apartment, complete with lovely views across the treetops of Centennial Park. Inside this stylishly renovated space you'll find timber floorboards, plantation shutters and plenty of natural light.
Enjoy a morning cuppa in the breakfast nook. Soak up the serenity out on the balcony or gravitate to the living area and curl up on the sofa. Both bedrooms come with built-in robes and there's a modern bathroom with heated towel rails.

Outside endless activities abound. Head over to the Entertainment Quarter for shows, cinemas, farmers markets and dining options. Explore Centennial Parklands and its cycleways, picnic spots and walking trails. Meander to the nearby Paddington Markets on the weekend, shop the Oxford Street boutiques or venture to Westfield Bondi for shops galore. Come evening check out Darlinghurst and Surry Hills where you'll find some of Sydney's best restaurants and wine bars.

Within a walk of everything, no car is needed here, but we've thrown in an undercover parking spot just in case! There's also buses just minutes from the door for city adventures.

I don't normally write these reviews but I know I overpaid for Taylor Swift concert which is fine and I guess in these times expected. Place was great location, close to buses and definitely walkable to Bondi and town etc. We nearly paid $700 a night for 2 adults and 2 kids which due to well overdue maintenance in my opinion wasn't worth the money but hey what can you do when you've prepaid and checked in! Setup was good and was all we needed. I'd just like to say please spend the $ and do well overdue maintenance on the place, it's great and I would've been happy to pay that money if I felt it was worth it but unfortunately I don't believe it was worth the inflated prices we paid.

I must admit I was very disappointed with this stay. Getting there initially was relatively easy but if you were using the parking space and needing to get in you get locked on the other side and need to walk around to get the key (due to limited street parking) The apartment itself was not like the pictures, and we were extremely disappointed. The apartment was dirty, dusty, and in need of a big clean and renovations. The bathroom has mould and a non functional full flush, the beds were terrible and uncomfortable, the main bedroom had stains and hairs from previous guests. We even discovered mouldy vegemite in the cupboard that guests were supposed to use and I assume was provided by the host. Lack of AC made the warmer days not great and the fans weren’t great either. Overall, I don’t think this place was worth what we paid for and seeing previous reviews stating it needed upgrades dating back 2 years ago and they haven’t done anything. Shows. Wouldn’t be booking again.

Location was perfect, walking distance to the botanic gardens and entertainment quarter. Could do with some maintenance to the bathroom and installation of fans. Clean and tidy

It was a great place to stay away from home. Walkable to bus stops to get to trains and into the rocks and harbour. It looks just like the photos and was very comfortable.

Very good quiet, peaceful accommodation and close to transportation for easy access to Sydney.

    1. Guests will be vetted and checked before receiving access instructions. 2. Please make sure you follow the departure instructions and leave the keys back in the lockbox. If keys are not left in the requested spot, a $150 fee will be charged. 3. A starter pack of amenities and toilet paper (once these are used up, the guest will need to purchase more), and the exit clean. Should you require a mid-stay clean or additional linen, there will be an additional charge. Please message us through Airbnb for a quote. 4. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm - 8:00am. We have a strict no event/party policy to ensure we have an ongoing positive relationship with our neighbours. 5. Please confirm the accurate number of guests on your booking. If you intend to have extra guests stay or come to the property at any point during your stay, please send a message via Airbnb for our team to approve. 6. Maintenance Issues: We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm - Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only. 7. Barbecue Cleaning (If Applicable): As per the terms and conditions, please ensure you clean the BBQ after use. A $70 charge will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is found to be dirty. Thank you for understanding. 8. Late Check-outs: Please note that L'Abode Accommodation reserves the right to impose a late departure fee of $80 per hour for any guest who fails to vacate the premises by 10:00 AM without prior approval. Public Holidays Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am Monday-Friday) We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours. We can't compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above-mentioned hours.

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
