It has a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and two Catalan balconies.
The space
# Important note: all legal and licensed apartments in Barcelona are obliged to pay a tourist tax, which is excluded of the prices. Read more below in "other things to note".The apartment is on the second floor with an elevator and has a living-dining room, a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, toaster, microwave, oven, dishwasher, a dining table, TV and free WiFi internet. It also has two balconies overlooking the famous and busy street Gran Via de Les Corts Catalanes. The bathroom has a shower and one sink.
We provide all the comfort and service that may be needed, but we also know from experience that a client renting an apartment seeks privacy and tranquillity. The apartment is located in L'Antiga Esquerra De L'Eixample, a historic neighbourhood. This neighbourhood is very popular among students because of the many bars and pubs, but there are also a lot of stalls with fresh fish and tapas. It is very close to the university, Placa de Catalunya and Casa Milá. From here you are very close to different metro's and bus stops that can bring you to a lot of nice places in the city, for example la Sagrada Familia, the beach and Camp Nou.
Pay attention to this: this is an antique and so an old building. The bathroom is basic and doors and frames have been affected over the years. Also please note that there is reconstruction work taking place in a neighboring apartment, which may cause some noise daily after 9:00 AM. This work is expected to continue until the end of August. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Hey there! Some important info for your upcoming stay:All guests are REQUIRED to fill out a pre-arrival form and SIGN a rental contract before their stay. These steps are MANDATORY to ensure a smooth check-in process and to comply with local regulations.
- Keeping things smooth:
For your comfort we will answer you in your preferred booking platform's chat on workdays (mon-fri 9:30 am to 6:30 pm). Outside those hours our call center is at your service for phone calls for urgent matters. All other matters will be handled as soon as it is possible or picked up the next working day by our team.
- Heads up, we don't have a reception, but we're here to make things awesome for you!
- Check-in: Anytime after 3:00 PM. If it's past 6:30 PM on weekdays or it is the weekend/holiday, don’t worry! We have a key drop-off service.
Late check-in fee (excluded from the price) 30€ after 21:00 / 50€ after 00:00.
- Check-out: Always wrap things up by 11:00 AM.
- Before you make moves to the apartment, give us a call about 30-45 minutes before. No app calls or texts please, just hit us up with a regular call.
- Need help with bags? Check out "Luggit Service" - They can pick up your belongings and deliver them at 15:00 at the apartment, so you can explore the city in the meantime ;)
- Remember to send over IDs of all guests before arriving. It's a local rule we have to follow.
- Make sure outstanding amounts are squared away before you check in.
- Don't forget about the tourist tax – Barcelona's tourist tax fee is 6,88 EUR. per person per night, not included in your initial booking payment.
- When confirming the booking, it is required to sign the rental agreement contract.
- Baby on board? No problem! We've got free baby cots, but give us a shout when you book. For the safety of your baby, there are no sheets, pillows or additional mattress in the cots, only the regulated mattress that comes with all travel cots.

The apartment has clear pros and cons. Pros: 1. Great location 2. The apartment is spacious. 3. Nice and comfortable furniture Cons: 1. As it is an old apartment the painting is a bit run down, you have cracks on the wall, the kitchen cabinets are a bit off. 2. There is no space to store your toiletries in the bathroom. I would say the bathroom is the weak point of the apartment. 3. The communication with the hosts was a bit erratic. We had no response from them for a while, then we had to do the check in online and there system has the wrong amount of guests so that created another issue, and the check in was far from welcoming. 4. Check-out. In all my stays with AirBnB I have never had to go through a check out like this one. They requested us to take pictures of every room to make sure things were left in shape (?) Not sure if they are afraid someone might vandalize the apartment or they don´t trust the cleaning crew, but rather than making our life simple they make it more complex.
