The host was very responsive before, during and after our stay. It was very comfortable, that we had the chance to leave our backpacks in the office after check out. The apartment is very spacious, but a bit old. A refreshing of the walls won't be bad. We had everithing we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms.

We encountered an issue with the washer and it flooded the back area. They did address it by sending maintenance worker then a plumber the next day. They did replace the washer but it was too late. Overall, many issues with bathrooms ( not clean ), showers leaked , moldy tiles, and mildew smell. When it rained there was a leak down the wall. This place needs a good cleaning.

The good: Very good location, with metro and supermarket nearby. Easy check-in and check-out. Good WiFi. Quick response from Ulises about some problems we had. The bad: Very automated and impersonal communication in English, except for Ulises. Lack of things in the apartment, which was rented for 6 people, however there were 4 or 5 pieces of many kitchen items. Luckily, when I complained, they brought us some things. The shower in the main bathroom flooded the entire floor. The 2nd bathroom was pretty bad, with a disgusting shower curtain. Lack of minimal things for a flat like salt, pepper and sugar. Not to mention coffee and tea. No hand soap, just shower soap. Very noisy neighbours, partying every night, even though in the apartment they make it clear that the hours of rest are from 10:00 pm, it seemed that this warning did not apply to the other apartments.

We were very happy with the apartment. It is very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Communication with the rental company also worked very well. Unfortunately, the house is a bit noisy and you can hear conversations in the hallway very loudly, but at least that didn't bother us too much. In addition, the kitchen was unfortunately not so well equipped. Especially more cutlery and basics like spices and oil were missing. On the whole, however, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend the apartment.

The apartment is perfect in terms of location, the Sagrada Familia is only a few minutes' walk away. The self check-in did not work very well for us, because the door pin provided did not work and we only got a working pin after a few long phone calls. Unfortunately, it is relatively noisy there, as it is located directly in the city, but above all the entrance door always slams very loudly. Furthermore, only a few sockets worked, for example, the ones in the storage room did not, which is why we could not use the washing machine. However, since the location was very important to us and we were otherwise relatively undemanding, the apartment was totally sufficient for us.

A few things the host could do better: - the tools in the kitchen were very limited and we missed a lot in order to cook a simple meal - The light in one of the bathrooms didn’t work so you had to shower with open door or in darkness - The solution in one of the bathrooms left a lot of water on the floor

The apartment is very spacious and centrally located. Unfortunately, two out of three bedrooms did not have windows to the outside: bizarrely, the windows opened to the building staircase, which made them not very useful as windows. You couldn't properly ventilate the rooms and it was far too noisy due to other guests coming late at night and making noise on the staircase on the way to their apartment, even with those "windows" closed. I had to sleep with the bedroom door open to get fresh air. Otherwise the amenities were good and we had no problems with the apartment.

We really liked the place – it was clean, well equipped and the location was really great! Communication with the host was also great and straightforward. A small drawback was the construction site nearby, which was a bit disruptive at times. It was also a bit chilly in the space. But overall we had a comfortable stay and would go back!

Like many reviews: Run away! the apartment is overrated in the photos! - Unclean accommodation on arrival, stains and dirt on coffee tables and dining room, stains on the floor, pubic hair and hair in the bathrooms, sheep under the beds...and trash. -clogged sink and sinks (water is not draining) -forte smell of tobacco throughout the accommodation -"windows" of bedrooms that overlook the stairwell and therefore not very soundproof (single glazing) -Window of the large bedroom without curtains and shutters, simple glazing...so you can hear everything! -not enough cutlery and/or cups for 6. -Tv not working -no coat rack or towel racks -blowers not working in the bathroom In short, poorly maintained space I asked Airbnb to change accommodation after 10 mins but unfortunately very complicated to organize a transfer. the owner came to do a little cleaning without our agreement during our stay!

Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the apartment is no longer suitable for us. It is very clairaudient, and it is sometimes very noisy, especially in the evening/ night. When doors are slammed, the walls wobble. The apartment is also a bit outdated and would need a renovation. The pictures gave a different impression, and we were expecting more – especially at this price. Too bad...

The apartment was overpriced for what it offered. When we arrived, we had to wait because the cleaning team was still inside. They mentioned that the previous guests had left the apartment in poor condition, but we can’t confirm this. The entry code didn’t work initially, but the hosts responded quickly and resolved the issue, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, when we entered, the apartment was still dirty. There were stains on the dining table, dust, and hair on the floor, indicating it hadn’t been vacuumed properly. The living room was also disappointing—it was far too small to accommodate six people. With only a small, uncomfortable couch that seats three, some of us had to sit on the floor. On the last day, there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling due to rain. While we understand this can happen, it added to the overall frustration. In summary, the apartment was too expensive for what it offered, and the experience didn’t meet our expectations.

I booked this apartment to stay with my family, the pictures looked great and the location seemed good however we were all very disappointed. There was not enough seating in the lounge to sit together, the chairs we tried to move from dining table were mostly broken when you lifted them. There were only 4 mugs, tea spoon and not enough cutlery for the 6 of us to use. The iron spat dirt all over my partner shirt the morning of the wedding we were attending and did not work. The shelves in the main bedroom and living room were hanging off so you could not use them. The bath was rusty and the rest of the bathroom mouldy in places, the paint work was all chipped and just looked very dirty. The main bedroom had some shutters that did not cover the window so my parents struggled to sleep. Location was the only good thing of you want to be near the Sagrada familiar however was a taxi ride to the rambles. I wouldn’t book again or recommend and I felt so embarrassed by my choice of booked.

The apartment was in great shape. We went as a family group of 6, the bedrooms were good in size for each pair. Two of the rooms had fans, the other had air conditioning as well as the living room. It has two bathrooms, one big and one small, and both were comfortable enough to use. The host was super responsive. Proactively checking on the first day how everything was going. I was a bit on the expensive side, but the location is worth it, the place is worth it. 100% would recommend.

The arrival was smooth, the place was definitely fine. However, there are a number of work points. The shower heads were old and were no longer secure. The pillows were too thin. In the master bedroom there was no possibility to completely obscure it. Air conditioning worked fine but leaked a bit. Outside of a thorough renovation of the bathrooms, I give this 4 stars

The apartment was a lot smaller than pictured. One of the bathrooms was so small not even two people could fit inside at the same time. Not to mention it was very poorly lit. The noise at night was terrible. You could hear every single footstep of the people walking up the stairs. It made it very hard to sleep at night. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned properly, there was hair and left over soap lying around. The kitchen had dirty pans in the oven. Not to mention check in was at 3pm and the cleaning team wasn’t finished until 4pm. The only good part was the location was near Sagrada Família, but getting a taxi anywhere was difficult as they rarely passed by. And forget about Ubers, it was impossible to get one.

Positive Experience. • I stayed 4 nights with friends (3 couples). After a small misunderstanding about check-in, in 10/15 minutes we resolved and were able to enter the apartment. • The photos of the listing are quite true: from a higher resolution you would understand that the apartment is older than it looks. • The location is strategic, you can walk to the Sagrada (10 min) and you can get everywhere at 30 min. At 20 minutes there is the train station (P. de Gracia)from which you can reach the airport in 30/35 min. • The value for money did not seem to be the best compared to the cost of living in the city that is not expensive (except for the tourist attractions that are). •The only downside is cleanliness: drawers and closets were dusty, in one bathroom we found some hair, in the other the cleanliness was approximate. We bought a disinfectant and cleaned. I would recommend providing hangers.

The photos are really old and don’t match the reality. The apartment was dirty, one bathroom is not usable because the shower door is broken even though in the pictures the door is there. The second bathroom was full of hair, somebody before us shaved there and it wasn’t cleaned at all. In the instructions it says that you have to be quiet after 10pm but there was so much noise we couldn’t sleep at all. 2 bedrooms have the windows directly on the staircase and all the neighbours are chatting every day and every night on the staircase, shouting, laughing all night. Broken lock at the entrance in the apartment, we had problems with that for 2 days. The apartment smells like mould and it’s very dirty. The main bathroom has problems with the hot water, every day minimum 2 people had to take a completely cold shower. I don’t recommend this apartment. It’s a total scam and i know that you will not post my review

My friends and I loved our time at this airbnb and will definitely book again! Everything was in walking distance (food, shops, sight seeing). The apartment was very clean and I loved that it also had a washing machine! The host was also very lovely and super responsive. Overall 10/10 experience!

We booked this apartment for a family stay. The apartment is certainly spacious, but it is a bit old and located in an old, somewhat dilapidated neighborhood (tagged shopfronts). Unfortunately, most of the negative comments turned out to be true (noisy late at night, permanent light in the entrance hall at night, no shutters in one of the rooms, a window in one of the rooms overlooks the entrance hall, you can hear everything, sound insulation problem, etc.). The equipment inside is minimalist, not even a dishwasher tablet, empty furniture in the hallway. Very difficult to find a parking place, when you leave your vehicle outside, you are not sure to find it in good condition. By the way, we had the misfortune of seeing the windshield of our vehicle smashed the night before our departure. Everyone will have their own idea, but for my part, I have known better and I will not go back.

The apartment does not have curtains or shutters in the main room. So you sleep in the daylight and the street… It is very noisy, the room that faces the street is the main then light and all the noise, from the cars, garbage truck, people talking... the other two rooms face the access staircase and have a window towards it so you hear every time someone comes in and out, they go up and down. In two of the Deptos there were young people and it seems there are no rules or no check that were complied with, daily they had a party until late in the morning. The mats that were full of garbage and hair (unpleasant) and I occurred to move a piece of furniture to look for a lost collar and there were clothing tags, lint balls, dust, and more… we had to wash the tub because it was dirty, downstairs from the mats it wasn't cleaned weeks ago… The host and team were very friendly and responsive to any situation, very good location in the Sagrada Familia

Was a nice comfortable apartment for a group of friends of 6 people. Had a lot of space and it was all pretty clean and tidy. One bathroom had only cold water for the first 2 days but that was then fixed directly and the bathrooms are no longer as new but on the whole completely satisfied. Location is great, you get everywhere well and have everything important around you. Would book again.

The location was good and it's a spacious apartment. The kitchen and bathrooms were very minimal, little cutlery, outdated and here and there dark mold edges. On 1 bedroom is a nice air conditioner. The other 2 have no air conditioning and are therefore also very warm. The most disappointing were the beds, slept enormously moderately because they were all incredibly hard. I have really rarely slept on such a bad bed, so I'm not going to book this apartment again. The contact with the rental party was good and the pin code to open the doors was very convenient.

Our stay was okay, but not outstanding. The apartment was very clean and looked the same as the photos. The location was great and everything needed was nearby. Two of the three bedrooms had only one window to the hallway and appeared very dark and small. Also there were loud constructions at daytime, which made it hard to relax at home… The kitchen equipment was very basic and the toaster didn’t work. Also one shower had only cold water and enjoy apartments seemed very carrying and offered to send some maintaining, but unfortunately nothing happened. Also there are glass container infront of the house which are used at night and really loud and the wifi was not working when to many people used it. A small heater existed but the windows seemed to leave wind inside and it got a bit cold in the evening. All in all it was a good stay and pretty apartment, which could use a little more equipment, better insulation and seemed to pricy for all the noise that was going on.

Terrible apartment!!! NO!NO!NO! The photos are misleading. No heating, they provided some electrical appliances trying to improvise a heating. Dirty, old, full of mold. The bedrooms have no real windows, except the main one but it is very very noisy. All the paint on the ceilings is cracked. Very dirty and cold, we moved after the 1st night. The host has charged 30Euros extra although was self check in. When contacted I was told that is the system and will refund the money. I am still chasing them as they have not refunded the money. Horrible place and complete scam.

We had a very nice stay! The code to enter the house was not correct but when I called, the person on the phone was very reactive and gave me the new code. Everything was clean, the appartement is very spacious and the matresses of the beds surprisingly comfortable. We slept very well! The washing machine was a bit noisy but it was fine. The location is very practical, everything was about 30 min walking distance except the Sagrada familia that was less than 10 minutes away. Several small supermarkets around to buy necessities. Whenever we had a question the team answered quickly, they even allowed us to keep our luggage in their office after checkout since we had to wait several hours before our flight. If I should leave an observation, I think a bottle of water would have been nice especially that it is not recommended to drink Barcelona’s tap water. That’s all, I do recommend staying in this spacious comfortable appartement especially if you are a family, our kids loved it!

this apartment is not maintained at all: - there is mold in the water rooms, the bathtub tap is leaking. - the apartment is poorly insulated especially in the bedroom on the side of the street, the window has no curtains or double glazing. - lacks the essentials for cooking (salt, pepper, oil...) - the internet connection works very, very poorly. - we were 4 for a week's stay, we had a dishwasher tablet and a laundry pod. The apartment requires a complete renovation from floor to ceiling in order to be able to offer it for rent. We do not recommend this apartment and will never come back to it. The concierge who manages the apartment is responsive.

We arrived on the 17th and were there a bit early, this wasn't an issue as the host was able to be there early as well. We got a small tour of the apartment and got handed the keys. We enjoyed our stay and had more than enough room for 3 people. The apartment was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Sadly, the washing machine did not work, but this was a minor inconvenience. The location was also very nice, the apartment is located 2 streets away from la Sagrada Familia, and is easily accessible. All-in-all we had a great time, and I would highly recommend this Airbnb to other travelers.

We’ve given our a review a 5 but would’ve been 4.5 if that was possible.  It’s a great property and we were happy with the initial cost, location etc.  The property is old and quirky which we like in a big city, let down by really small things which would make it a ‘slam dunk’ 5.   Location is great, really close (7 mins walk) to the Sagrada Familia, plenty of bakery’s close for coffee, bread, breakfast etc, 700m to a metro station, and only 150m from a decent Mercadona supermarket. The Place de Catuloniya is about 20-25 mins walk, the closest beach if that interests you a 30 minute walk. The longer walks can all be done quicker by metro of course.    Check in was really easy, and remote with electronic key codes which are sent via the guest site which a link is sent via email.  The only complaint would be we had to pay another 50 euros for the privilege of letting ourselves in because it was out of normal office hours/check in times. Felt a bit unnecessary to us, however the hosts were quite obliging to get us a few food items like bread milk water so we had something for our arrival.   The place itself was fine, the main bedroom being large with old style windows opening up onto the street front.  This did make it loud in the mornings with traffic etc but that’s to be expected in a big city.  The second and third bedrooms are not massive, and have no natural light, but there are windows which open into a central staircase shared with 3 other rentals properties.  Beds were comfortable enough (but only 1 pillow each) with a double wardrobe in each room, not enough coat hangers though.  The main bathroom was ok, but we all used the newer shower/toilet room at the back of the property which was more modern.  The kitchen is probably a little tired and in need of a refurb but it had most of the stuff you need, including a nespresso coffee pod machine. There were 6 of us but there were not 6 of everything e.g. wine glasses, side plates.  Also, it was let down slightly as it hadn’t been cleaned to an acceptable standard.  This may be as much about what we expect but the oven tray was covered in grease, and microwave door had food splashes, so clearly hadn’t been checked by housekeeping after previous guests. The host did however come and change the oven tray and bring glasses midway through our stay.   All that being said, these are all pretty small things, and easily sorted so have not ‘scored down’, as they did not affect the fact we enjoyed our stay in Barca. We pride ourselves on being model guests so we do let hosts know if something isn’t quite right, hoping that they will put right for subsequent guests and thank us (rather than thinking we are a pain!!)   So overall, we would recommend this place, particularly if the host puts some really easy changes and checks in place.

The neighbourhood has all the amenities for making the stay at the apartment super comfortable, with shops and cafes just around the corner. The host is super friendly and very responsive. The flat has a great location, we had a nice stay and we only had some issues with the building and street noise and the fact that the flat is quite old and could use some refurbishing.

Very good and cheap. Nevertheless, we have accidentally changed the number of visitors, we will be accepted. Check-in is super easy and fast! And the location is super good too! You can walk to many shops. Disadvantage: A bit noisy in the evening, no enough washing gel…...Also, everything is good. And communication is also quick to respond through its own platform.

Apartment as in the large and good location as the photos. We had a great stay. We have everything we need nearby and the metro is very close. Walking a little, you have access to two other metro stations, which allows you to go anywhere in making changes. Great relationship with the host, easy and responsive communication.

Thank you so much. The apartment is spacious and very conveniently placed. We enjoyed our stay. There is a/c installed in the master bedroom currently. In July and August, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms can get muggy.

Apartamento remodelado in an old building, good location, but very noisy, lousy WIFI access (intermittent or nonexistent), please note that the price posted does not include Accommodation TAX, which the host charges you apart.

The building is old and the noises from the street and from the building make it difficult to have a good sleep. Otherwise, the location is good and the there are supermarkets, bakery, and restaurants nearby. Very convenient.
