We stayed in this apartment for a week and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. While it’s presented as a higher-end stay, in reality it is quite basic and not particularly clean. One of the main disappointments was the outdoor pool, which was not usable during our stay as it was heavily drenched in chemicals. The indoor “pool” is also misleading – it’s more of a small spa area rather than an actual swimming pool.Expected amenities were either unavailable or underwhelming. The barbecue could not be used at all, and only one set of towels was provided for the entire stay, which is not sufficient for a week. There were also attempts to create a “luxury” feel, such as leaving out bottles labelled as organic soap, but with no ingredients or branding – this felt not genuine. A major issue was the lack of transparency about the surroundings. There is a large construction site directly opposite the property, which creates constant noise and significant dust.

We had a very disappointing experience at this property. On arrival, it was immediately clear the apartment had not been properly cleaned — there were trainer prints in the shower, dirt on the floors, and dirty dishes left behind. Far more concerning, however, was the presence of bugs crawling throughout the apartment. This was not a minor issue — my two-year-old daughter, who has autism, was terrified and distressed, which made our holiday extremely stressful. When we raised these concerns, the host dismissed them rather than taking accountability. The explanation given was that insects are “natural” and that issues should have been reported sooner. Regardless of timing, cleanliness and pest prevention are a host’s responsibility, and this property did not meet basic Airbnb standards. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this accommodation. Guests deserve a clean, safe, and comfortable stay, and this property failed to provide that.

The location of the apartment, the architectural style, the view and amenities are great. The support of room service deserves only the best touches. Forward-looking with clear information and easily accessible. Only the key pick up in Marbella is a little more elaborate but worked well. Currently, as well as everywhere in the area, it has ongoing construction sites. Likewise, the traffic was clearly audible. The place and the hostess are top.
