DAMAGE PROTECTION:
This property requires a R2,000 security deposit, in the form of a hold on your credit card, processed 1 day prior to check-in, that will be automatically released within 7 days of check-out should there be no damages, fines or fees as per the Booking/Rental Ts and Cs. Please note that an additional non refundable service fee of R47 will be charged. This fee covers the cost of verifying the booking and ensuring the property's protection. In the event of a claim, there will be a 15% service fee charged on the total claim amount.
While the security deposit will be processed 1 day before check-in, we advise you to complete the Just Be Lekker verification process as soon as possible to avoid any complications with your booking.
Houseboat Rules:
No Smoking Inside Rooms:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and enclosed spaces of the houseboat. Designated smoking areas may be provided on the exterior deck.
Correct Disposal of Cigarette Butts:
Guests must dispose of cigarette butts in designated containers provided on the houseboat. Littering is strictly prohibited.
Life Jackets:
Life jackets must be worn when on the deck or engaging in water activities. Adequate life jackets are provided and should be properly fitted for each individual.
Children's Safety:
Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children at all times. Children should be supervised, especially when near the water.
No Diving or Jumping:
Diving or jumping off the houseboat is not allowed to ensure the safety of guests. Use designated swimming areas if available.
Quiet Hours:
Respect quiet hours to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. Typically, quiet hours may be enforced during the late evening and early morning.
Respect Wildlife and Environment:
Guests are expected to respect the local wildlife and environment. Avoid littering and follow any guidelines for the protection of the natural surroundings.
Prohibited Items:
The use of illegal substances, fireworks, or any other hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.
Fishing Guidelines:
If fishing is allowed, adhere to local regulations and guidelines. Respect catch limits and release undersized or protected species.
Proper Use of Appliances:
Guests are expected to use all appliances and equipment on the houseboat responsibly and in accordance with provided instructions. Report any malfunction immediately.

No Pets:
Pets are not permitted on the houseboat
Check-Out Procedures:
Follow the check-out procedures provided by the houseboat management. Leave the accommodation in the same condition as upon arrival.
