The space

Our double-storey home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests across 5 spacious bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suite.

Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished, providing a cosy and restful space for everyone. The bathrooms are designed for convenience and comfort: two feature both a bath and a shower, while the other two are equipped with showers only. We provide all the necessary linen and bath towels to ensure a hassle-free stay.

The heart of the home is our well-equipped kitchen, boasting a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, cutlery, crockery, ice machine, and a fridge-freezer. The central island with stools is perfect for casual dining or socialising. A separate scullery houses a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer for your convenience.

Our open-plan lounging and dining areas are designed for relaxation and entertainment, with ample seating where guests can dine and unwind while taking in the breathtaking views of the valley. For those chilly evenings, enjoy the warmth of our indoor fireplace, or take advantage of the built-in braai for a delightful barbecue experience. Entertainment is at your fingertips with TVs offering a full bouquet of DStv channels and access to free Wi-Fi.

The living area seamlessly extends to an outdoor patio through stacking doors, where you can enjoy fresh air and stunning outdoor seating. Secure on-site parking is provided for peace of mind. Additionally, our property features a silent backup generator, ensuring your stay is uninterrupted by power outages.

Guest access

Guests will have full access to the entire property, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. You'll be able to enjoy the well-equipped kitchen and separate scullery, as well as the lounging and dining areas. The indoor fireplace and built-in braai are available for your use, perfect for cosy evenings or outdoor meals.

Feel free to make use of the TVs with DStv channels and the free Wi-Fi throughout the home. The patio with outdoor seating is all yours to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Secure on-site parking is provided, and our backup generator ensures you'll never be without power.

Other things to note

Loadshedding: The house is equipped with a quiet generator for backup power, ensuring your convenience. To view the load shedding schedule, visit ESP for Kareekraal (8). Please use appliances like hairdryers, irons, and ovens sparingly while the generator is in use.

Damage Protection:
This property is protected by Just Be Lekker (JBL), the travel reputation platform. Guests are required to pay a R800 non-refundable damage waiver fee (R20,000 worth of accidental damage cover) OR have a R10,000 refundable security deposit hold placed on their card to gain access to the property. The guest will be sent a link by JBL to verify their booking.

Please note that should a guest choose the refundable security deposit, a R47 service fee will be charged by JBL. This fee covers the cost of verifying the booking and ensuring the property's protection. Just Be Lekker aims to provide a secure and reliable booking experience for all guests.

While the security deposit / damage waiver fee will be processed 1 day before check-in, we advise you to complete the JBL verification process as soon as possible to avoid any complications with your booking

Late check-ins
In the event of a late check-in after 7pm on Saturdays to Thursdays and 10pm on Fridays, a standard late check-in fee of R750 will apply.
