Pros: Amazing location (everything is walkable and Lagos is a beautiful historic town by the ocean), beautiful ocean views from living/dining/balconies, very spacious (we stayed with four adults and the bedrooms + ensuites were conveniently separated for privacy) and very well-appointed apartment. Con: Issue with odour coming from the plumbing throughout the apartment (and probably the whole building). We are thankful that the hosts addressed it and it did improve (but was not gone).

My friends and I had an incredible time staying in Sean’s apartment! The apartment is absolutely amazing and even better than the photos. The views are fantastic and the sitting on the balcony in the morning is a real bless! The location is perfect, walking distance to everything you have to see in Lagos and at the same time very quiet at night. The company taking care of the Airbnb and the guests is extremely professional, helpful, full of kind and friendly employees, always responsive and willing to help. It’s so far my greatest Airbnb experience. Thank you so much!

Pros: Destination Algarve was a wonderful host! It was very easy to communicate with them via text. The space is beautiful and was perfect for what we wanted. There is a great coffee shop right downstairs, as well as a nice bar and Asian street food place. The apartment was very clean and conveniently located with a beautiful view. Note that it is located on one side of Old Town and the marina and other nice spots are located on the other side. Cons: Sometimes there is a musty/unpleasant smell in the unit, but I think it comes from outside and is not related to the unit itself. In terms of value, we were asked to pay for the use of a baby crib, which we have not been asked to do anywhere else in Portugal.

Great location close to old town and short drive from Praia Meia and Dona Ana. Great closer up ocean view of Praia Batata from balcony with awesome sunrise views. Close to restaurants and shopping. Cute cafe for coffee/bfast downstairs. It was very loud at night the week we stayed due to multiple festivals on main avenue where apt is located. Some issues - major ant problem (present before we opened any food there) and sewer smell in master bedroom bathroom. Front door to building at times does not close easily so left open by others and in suite safe did not work which poses safety issues. No cleaning services provided but cleaners come in to provide extra towels- would be nice if they could also throw out trash or tidy up. Overall enjoyable stay and person who helped us check in Leonardo very friendly and gave detailed instructions. All issues mentioned can be easily fixed.

Apartment was absolutely perfect. Very large and clean, major plus was an amazing balcony with the best views! It also could not have been located better. Beach front and a very short walk into town. Cannot recommend enough!!

This was a wonderful place to stay in Lagos, and a great jumping off point for the rest of The Algarve. We stayed around the beaches of Lagos two days and ventured to other beaches around Carvoeira the other days. Our kids loved waking up and going to the beach across the street! Lagos is also a cute town, so we spent evenings walking it’s streets and dining at haunts within walking distance of the apartment. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

The location was beautiful close to marina, restaurants and several beaches. Great place to wake up and have coffee on the balcony I. The morning to watch the sun rise. My family really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here in November and thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. Ideally situated across from the beach and only a short 5 minute walk to the heart of town. Located in a brand new building everything is new and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

An spacious, stylish marble floored apartment in an outstanding location pedestrian close to all attractions and literally looking over both the fort and the harbour mouth - a source of endless fascination viewed from the verandha and double glass doors. The views at sunrise and sundown were magnificent and every room has full height window/doors to enjoy it. The beach is literally over the road as is the yacht club bar. Really well equipped kitchen including large freezer drawers which we didn't see advertised. Lagos is always a great visit and the marina makes it special. So many eat-out possibilities which we used on all but one evening, the only time we sought out the tv but couldn't get it to give us a picture, probably our fault. There is a cafe bar on the ground floor open throughout the day and handy for breakfast. This property is highly recommended.

Perfectly furnished, clean apartment with lots of comfort and many extras! Washing machine, air conditioning, dishwasher, lots of dishes, parasols and drying rack etc. Very good service in a top location from the town and sea!

We stayed here for week in early September. Unit is brand new and in excellent condition. Inside it’s bright and rooms are relatively large. General location of apartment is great; couple of minutes walking to main old town area, 10 minutes to marina. View out of apartment is over the main river entrance/old dock area; which has a lot of things going on. Management company who services the apartment were excellent. On the negative side, the unit is right next to one of the main roads into town, so it’s not possible to use its balcony due to traffic noise. That noise is also apparent in the living area, near its floor to ceiling windows. The bedrooms are located away from the road so no problems there.

Wow factor. My daughter and I were blown away by how beautiful the apartment is - open, airy, lots of marble, glass, and mirrors. Doors open to balconies overlooking the water. It is on a busy street, but we weren't bothered by it. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms roomy with good water pressure, kitchen nicely appointed, wi-fi was speedy. The location is great - a bit tricky getting in and out because of the way the streets are marked, but once you get the hang of it, it wasn't a problem. So close to everything - all the shops, restaurants, harbor tours, even the train station is within walking distance - although maybe not with bags. Sean and Gabriela were amazing - always a quick response. Check in was thorough and we appreciated all the helpful suggestions. We had a great time and highly recommend their property!

Easy walk into Lagos. Very close to all the beaches. If you like to walk, hike along the coastal cliffs above all the beaches to the lighthouse & groto. Or keep going all the way to Ponta da Piedade. Have a great beach lunch & take the bus back. Very clean & large unit. Free parking was great.

Great location looking over the fort and sailing club. Also really easy to walk into town for the evening. The underground parking is very handy. Well equipped so if you want to cook then it's easy. Beds are pushed together singles but were quite comfortable and it was quiet at night.

Just back from a fantastic stay at this amazing apartment. Communication from the start to the end with Sean was really good. The apartment is very big, two couples stayed , we had lots of room . Exceptionally clean, every amenity you could need. Right beside the town, 2 mins walk into the square. Great access to the beach via the little boat across the river from the main promenade 5 mins from the apartment . Car not required in Lagos but if you do have one parking underground is available. Great check in Gabriella was so lovely and explained everything to us . Internet TV if required, really easy to use. Balcony with a table and chairs on , perfect to watch the sunrise . A second balcony at the back also there. Two big bedrooms one en suite. Very modern interior. Transfers to and from Faro were arranged by Sean, David the driver was great, 45 mins each way. Perfectly on time . I would really recommend staying at this lovely place, will definitely come back if possible !!

Best located in Lagos. Short distance to the city. Just cross the road to a beautiful beach. Balcony, very clean and comfortable flat.

We didn't want to leave! This apartment was perfect for us. Parking was easy as it comes with it's own parking spot in the basement. The view was unbeatable and the apartment clean and comfy. Close walk to the old town and the beach is across the street. We will definitely be back!
