Disappointed to say that our stay was not enjoyable. We had requested a cot for our baby which was not provided. Very stressful with a tired infant. We dm’d about this and were told it could be provided the next day. Fortunately we had family nearby who had to help us find a safe place for our child to sleep that night. Miguel was quick to respond about this and said he would sort it out the next day. We said there was no need for this as we had sorted it out and would not be in the next day. When we returned to the apartment our cot had been taken down and replaced. Fixing an issue 24 hours too late without our permission. We also asked to be compensated when Miguel asked what could be done to help but we received to reply to this. We are unsure what other sort of compensation could have been made? The shower was also cold and other amenities such as the dishwasher temperamental. This is really unfortunate as the location etc. of Miguel’s place is fantastic for those visiting Madrid

Great stay in a central location. It was close to a lot of restaurants and shops but still quiet enough to relax. Instructions for how to enter the apartment were clear and easy to understand. The apartment had very basic essentials for a short stay, but overall we had a great stay!

Very quiet and very centric place. Perfect for a short stay. Clear instructions for check-in. Super responsive host, always replied quickly. Unfortunately the apartment doesn´t have a lot of sunlight in the morning (you cannot do anything about it as it´s a historic building). But the rest was superb. Amazing location with walking distance to everything. 100% recommended.

The experience was not positive because the apartment was dirty, full of dust and it felt like it had not been swept. I also found hair on the sheets. When I decided to leave the next day for this reason, there was no response when I communicated it. The apartment is not bad, I hope the next tenants find it better.

Miguel’s apartment was perfect for us. It is small but has a separate sleeping nook. It is very well equipped for a comfortable stay, with washing machine, fully equipped kitchen (with pantry and cleaning essentials), smart TV that I could stream to from my phone and fast internet. The location is excellent, central but also quiet. It is ground floor and internal with minimal natural light, but that wasn’t too much of an issue for us. I recommend it.

Good location. Quiet place that stay away from the crowd. Fully equipped kitchen. Very responsive host when I pointed out the battery on remote control was not working, who came to replace. Shower head was leaking but not a major problem for us. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location - easy to walk to central spots in Madrid and to pick up the metro. Saw a few comments about the place being small and a bit dark - I would say it I perfect for a couple and had good kitchen supplies and a comfy lounge area too! It doesn't have a huge amount of natural light, but it made for a good night's sleep and as we were using the apartment as a base to explore during the day it wasn't a problem at all. The bed looked a bit basic, but was actually really comfy and the blackout blind is fab! Excellent location - close to Cava Baja and the little bars and restaurants 1 min away were a welcome break from the touristy places around Plaza Mayor. Was value for money and perfect for a long weekend to explore Madrid.

It was a little uncomfortable that the floor was filled with water after showering because the shower booth was leaking, but there was nothing else that was uncomfortable. I was able to get answers to my questions right away, and they sent me a video for self check-in, so I was able to finish checking in without any problems.

We had a great time here. The apartment was the perfect size for us and fairly close to everything we wanted to go see. The metro stop wasn’t too far of a walk which made it easy to get to anywhere we needed and there was lots of good food close by. The check in process was very smooth and we had no issues while we there. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer so we could do some laundry on our trip.

Well, the stay with miguel in principle was complicated why we could not contact us well at the beginning, period in favor allowed me to keep my bags before, against the bathroom toilet it was not very good in the room it felt very cold and did not arrive heating, otherwise the apartment well equipped with all the kitchen implements rooms, towels sheets excellent location but very small for 4 people and that that I travel with two 7-year-olds, in the end carelessly we did a damage we immediately communicated to pay but I felt in principle that I wanted to charge us more than what the product was worth so I should have communicated with airbnb.

A really privileged location!!!!, you have the points of interest very handy, the area is very nice, there are many nice restaurants and bars on hand, but it has the advantage that the apartment is itself on a small pedestrian street, so there is nothing buzzing. You can rest very well, I saw the comments that it was so small that they could not fit even the suitcases and I was worried, but we are a family of 4 and nothing to see. We carried all 4 hand luggage and a not so small fifth suitcase and we had no problem. If it is a small but suitable apartment to spend a few days very comfortable. Miguel was also looking forward to helping with what was attached to us, so I highly recommend it. And returning to the location, the Royal Palace has it about a 5 minute walk just like the Plaza Mayor. The Sun Gate to no more than 10, same as the San Miguel Market where you can eat very rich.

Miguel's apartment is well located, in a safe, quiet and quiet area, close to many restaurants. It is interior, but has windows to a small patio which allows it to be ventilated. I would recommend it for 2 people of preference since when opening the sofa bed becomes limited the space with the tables and the mattress is thin, which with the springs also make it uncomfortable. The watering can is a little tricky to use to keep the water out, the bathroom door does not close well and has no extractor. It has easy to use washer-dryer. For 2 people seems like an option to consider.

We stayed at Miguel's apartment for a 4-night trip to Madrid. The apartment was lovely and spacious and it was in a perfect spot for walking into the city centre and to lots of great restaurants. Apartment is in a great location. Short walk to the Plaza Mayor and the Palace. Apartment is a decent size, although there isn’t very much natural light coming through. Not an issue if you aren’t spending loads of time in the apartment. The little bottle of olive oil as a welcome gift was a nice touch. Because the apartment is on a side street, up some stairs you don’t get regular traffic which is great because there isn’t much noise coming from outside. During the day time you may get noise from people in adjacent apartments, but at night they are quiet so didn’t cause issues with sleeping. Things do get a bit colder at night, but the heater is in the living room so I needed to sleep with the door open and use the extra blankets provided. Overall, they did as best they could to ensure I had a comfortable stay.

Cute apartment within close proximity to many things. The host was friendly and easy to connect with. The apartment is the perfect size for a couple, but will be cramped for any more than that. When you pull out the couch bed, it’s near impossible to walk around in the living room and kitchen since there is also furniture. The heater is also in the living room, leaving the bedroom quite chilly in winter even if you leave the door between the rooms open. If you are looking for a short convenient stay in Madrid, this is a good place.

Very clean apartment, super well located and with an always attentive host, you really appreciate it!! The apartment is the same as the photos or even better. It has a very comfortable bed and the sofa bed also, white of good quality. Very generous with shampoo, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels. I loved arriving and finding in the kitchen oil, salt, pepper, etc. Super central to walk to all attractions, we were 3 women and felt very safe. Miguel shared very clear and accurate directions to us. Recommended!!!

The location was very good, and I was able to walk to sightseeing spots, restaurants, and supermarkets! The size of the room felt a little small for a family of four, but I almost only slept at night, so there was no problem at all. Some of the furniture was poorly built, but there was no problem at all with our stay. I felt it was difficult to do just that I needed to communicate in an app that I couldn't install to get in, but given the price and location, it was very good value for money.

We contacted the host prior to our trip, as our arrival time was around 6 in the morning and check-in time was 3 pm. We asked if there might be any possibility for checking in earlier, saying we completely understand if there was not. The host replied that he would check and let us know. We waited and waited, but the host never contacted us, so we checked in at 3 pm, as required. We were disappointed by the fact that the host didn’t even have the courtesy to contact us all these hours and let us know what the situation was. After waiting all the 7 hours to check in as scheduled, so the staff had sufficient time to clean, we found the apartment unacceptably dirty. There were hairs on the sheets, and there was much more hair on the floor in the bathroom, as you can see in the pictures. We could’ve communicated this to the host, but he never ever contacted us, not while we waited to check in, not after.

I stayed with 3 friends for 3 nights in Miguel's apartment. The location is fantastic, in the La Latina neighborhood (neighborhood full of bars and restaurants) and 10 minutes from the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor and the city center. The apartment is clean and functional, with a double bed, a two-person sofa bed, a comfortable shower, and a nice and well-stocked kitchen; it is a little small, so it's not suitable for long stays, but perfect for short stays of 2/3 nights. Miguel is accurate and responsive, especially in the directions for self check-in

This airbnb was amazing! The location is stunning, by beautiful restaurants and close to the center of the city. It was very clean and easy to check in. The inside is modern and decorated beautifully, the only thing is the bed isn’t the most comfortable but not bad. Miguel is a great Host! Definitely recommend if you’re in Madrid:)

The apartment is in a fun district and excellently positioned to explore central Madrid. It’s very compact - but fully and perfectly equipped. It’s got very little natural light so you wouldn’t want to spend time hanging around the flat. It’s a perfect place for being out all day and returning at night. Miguel was a perfect host. Accessible, friendly and thoughtful in providing a ‘welcome pack’ of wine, soft drinks, etc.

Great location. It took us about 25 minutes by car from the airport. We walked everywhere except when we took the metro from nearby La Latina Station to La Gavia shopping centre. The apartment was very nice and modern, with just enough space for the 4 of us. There was one air conditioner which cooled both rooms well during the July heat. The bathroom was lovely with a spacious shower, a hairdryer, soap and shampoo. There was a vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket, broom, iron and ironing board too. The hosts supplied washing liquid, sponge, kitchen towel, salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the kitchenette. The sofa bed was comfortable and there was plenty of pillows, duvets and blankets in the wardrobe in the bedroom. There wasn't a view from the windows, but that didn't bother us. Miguel was very nice and answered all my questions quickly.There is a bit of a knack to opening the electronic lock on the apartment door. WiFi signal was very good. I recommend this apartment.

Great apartment close to everything. Responsive host. Self check-in did not work as the electronic lock was not working but the host was there at check-in with emergency keys. There is just next to the front door on the left a door containing 4 padlocks. 2nd on the top left with the same code as the one to enter the building with emergency keys. Perfect for a couple! There were 4 of us with the sofa bed. Comfortable for children! Great stay in the city! Recommended!!!! Good miguel advice for the visit and restaurants! Thank you

It was my worst experience on AIrbnb, I had never happened to get to a place that was uncleaned, dirty dishes, trash overflowing the tacho, beds revolves, dirty bathroom... When I called Miguel, I didn't know anything they hadn't cleaned.... Miguel responded and took care of sending to clean, but I can't understand how this can happen, an admin has to be sure everything is OK to greet the guest. When they cleaned it was acceptable (we had to clean everything we used). There were no elementary things (new sponges for dishwashing, the ones they left were dirty with grease...,) no dishwasher tablets, no dish towel to dry dishes. The bathroom door does not lock, it hits the frame. It is a shame because the apartment is beautiful and the area is also.$I hope this will help them to improve the service and others do not go through what it was for us.

Amazing value in Madrid. The location is perfect - very walkable to a lot of Madrid's attractions with lots of close by eateries, markets, bars, etc. The apartment itself however is on a very quiet street with no road noise and felt very safe. The apartment is a great amount of space for 2 people but would feel more crammed if you had more. The beds are pretty small and very firm. With 2 people - one using the bed and the other using the pull out sofa it was perfect. The kitchen had everything you need, plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the bathroom. I would stay again if ever back in Madrid.

We really enjoyed staying in Miguel place. We were 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and even in the apartment was small it was more than fine for few nights. It was central and well connected but still very quiet. We had a couple of glitch but the host solved them quickly. I'd definitely raccomend the place for a couple but also for a family (for a weekend/long weekend)!

We were 4 and wanted to stay at Miguel’s for 4 nights in April. The apartment might be right for 2 people, but for 4 adults (except best friends or families I guess) the apartment is definitely too small. When folded out, the sofa bed is so big, it fills the whole room and there is NO space left. The real bed is max. 1,40m. We were a little bit disappointed since the bed sheets still were moist, the towels were hanging in the bathroom like used and the washing maschine was full of moist bedsheets… not so nice I find.

The hosts waited for us to get in our things and explain everything to us, the communication before during and after very good, they realized that everything was fine, the area is very good and quiet, the apartment does not have natural light but perfect for sightseeing in the day. In the evenings you can hear the noise of other floors and the elevator, the sofa bed is a little uncomfortable but it meets its function. The apartment is just like the photos, I highly recommend it.

I really liked the accommodation, we were fascinated... if I return to Madrid I will repeat there... the guys were very friendly and they always sent msj and explained everything to enter, the apartment was very clean and what I liked the most was the sofa, I stayed in love, when you can tell me where it is from. We had a wonderful stay at Madrid and Miguel's apartment. We used the property with 4 people, which worked well. However, I would recommend it for 2 persons. The location of the apartment is a very good base for exploring Madrid's downtown and attractions. The apartment is located in a quiet side street without car traffic. There are also good restaurants and bars a few meters away. The apartment is functionally equipped. There is relatively little light through the windows to the light yards of the building - but this did not bother us and is probably helpful against heat during the summer. The contact with Miguel was straightforward, quick and good. We make a clear recommendation.

The place is exactly like in the photos, it has all the amenities and the host has always been very available through messaging. The area of the house is also very good, close to the center but calm. The sofa bed could be more comfortable, but for a few days it is ok. We recommend!

Miguel's place was cozy and just as it's described. He was very communicative and responsive when needed. If I come back to Madrid, I would stay at Miguel's place again. It's very closed to a lot of main attractions.

It’s a cosy and stylish appartment in a silent area of the city center. The flat has everything you may need to spend time as a traveler and it’s location is just perfect: within 10 min walk from main attractions and it has quick access to the public transport. What is more, the hosts Miguel and Sergio are doing their best: they met us on the day on arrival and they were ready to answer all questions. A pleasant bonus is to find a bottle of wine as a welcome drink. Highly recommended! I will come back for sure :)

Miguel was very helpful and supportive with check in. His communication and responses were first class. We loved the apartment as described, great location, peaceful, great amenities within the apartment. Easy walking distance to centre of town and local sights. Would not hesitate to return again some day. The complimentary wine on arrival (although not consumed) was a nice touch . Thanks Miguel for allowing us to stay at your apartment . Highly recommended!!!

Upon arrival, Miguel was very attentive, the apartment is very clean and very cozy, we loved that there were many restaurants nearby, and literally everything is close and we were walking! Very nice, I highly recommend it.

We had an excellent stay at Miguel's place. The apartment lights up as shown in the pictures, very well equipped with kitchen and toilet implements, organized and clean. It is located in a very quiet area, near a sector with several restaurants and parks. Miguel was very attentive to our concerns. Highly recommended!

Newly renovated, quiet, and relatively close to downtown indoor home. Very well equipped; there was even oil available, something unusual that is appreciated, as well as a bottle of wine at our disposal.

Newly renovated and beautifully furnished apartment, well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great too, easily walkable to Plaza Mayor but at the same time very quiet. One thing to note is that the windows open to two small courtyards so there is not much direct sunlight in the apartment but it did not bother us at all. Last but not least, the hosts are very nice and helpful. When we had a problem with the washing machine they immediately came to solve it and also brought us two bottles of wine. Highly recommend!
