Unfortunately I wrote an entire review and airbnb is making me rewrite it, so Ill just condense it. -elevator is a big + -need cellular service to get into the main door -there was construction noise in the hallway at 9am each morning we were there (obviously isnt the hosts fault but it did affect the experience of our stay) -no bathmat for the floor of the bathroom -well equipped kitchen -metal blackout shades on most of the windows but you need to keep your door open for AC so it negates that, the AC light is very bright -one window did not close properly -no clothespins provided for hanging laundry -area can be a little rowdy/unsafe at night -kitchen was well equipped with plenty of supplies and different refreshments, bottle of water provided which was a nice touch -floor a bit dirty if going barefoot -shower is quite small, maybe not great for taller folks -the locks on the doors are very hefty and secure -wifi was a bit spotty at times Overall we did enjoy our stay+good value.

Our stay was really great! The location is perfect, just 10–15 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía, saving you on taxis, Uber or public transport. A stone's throw from the residence, you also had a pharmacist, subway and supermarkets. The hosts were fantastic: they always responded very quickly via chat, regardless of the time, and immediately offered clear solutions. When the wifi stopped working, they immediately provided an alternative. The service is really excellent! The apartment was also very clean and fully equipped with everything you need. We have enjoyed it enormously and if we go to Madrid again, we will definitely choose this stay again. Thank you again, you are doing a great job!

The room was so nice and clean. It's a little dangerous neighborhood, but the house was well secured and safe. It was nice to have a 24-hour grocery store right below. The house was really, really clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, and there was nothing lacking. I think it would be more helpful if you had a lot of toilet paper. I'll use it again the next time I come to Madrid.

The apartment was exactly as it looked in the photos, one stop from the centre of Madrid, quiet and you couldn't hear a sound. 100% comfort. Ideal for 2 or maximum 3 people. It's small but has everything you need, towels, air conditioning, hair dryer, coffee, sugar... And communication with the hosts was always quick and attentive!

The trip was amazing, the apartment is the same as in the photos and it’s super close to Madrid downtown (15/20 mins walking). Lavapies (the neighbourhood) is very multicultural as Madrid. The hosts were proactive which is super positive, specially if you are not from Spain. We recommend the place

Responsible energy and water consumption: Turn off lights and appliances when not in use. Close the taps to avoid water waste. 4. Coexistence and Rest Hours: Respect the neighbors' peace. Avoid loud noises and loud music between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Parties are not allowed inside the apartment. 5. Departure Rules: When your lease ends, please make sure to: - Turn off all lights and appliances - Close the windows and the door tightly - Remove all your rubbish and personal belongings. - Leave the keys at the agreed point. 6. Visits: You may receive occasional visits, but people not included in the lease are not allowed to stay overnight without prior authorization. 7. Cleaning: Cleaning the apartment is the responsibility of the tenant. If you need additional cleaning, it can be requested with a cost of €50 per service. 8. Apartment delivery conditions: At the end of the stay, the apartment must be delivered in conditions similar to those of the entrance. In case it is delivered in poor cleaning conditions, an additional charge of €90 will be applied. 9. Maintenance and damage: Any damage to the property caused by the tenant must be communicated and the cost of the repair or replacement will be borne by the tenant. 10. Linens and towels change: Two initial sets of linens and towels will be provided. Any additional replenishment will be borne by the tenant. 11. Key loss: In case of loss, the replacement cost will be borne by the tenant. 12. Towels, linens, furniture and other furnishings in the apartment must be used with care. In the event of permanent stains or damage that cannot be removed with standard cleaning, an additional cost will be applied to cover the replacement or restoration of the affected item.
