The apartment itself is lovely and in a good location. The problem we had was that we had requested a crib for our baby and it was not in the apartment when we arrived. We reported this to the hosts and they said it would be delivered the next day. It was delivered but with no base or mattress—just a metal X under a nylon sheet. Not a place a baby could possibly sleep. When we communicated this to the hosts they said we could put towels as a base and that’s what they’ve done before, but there’s no way this would create a safe sleeping space. They also blamed the cleaning service they contracted rather than taking responsibility as the hosts. We never had a functional crib for our entire stay. This aspect was disappointing but the apartment is pleasant and comfortable and we would recommend it for a couple or solo traveler but definitely not for anyone traveling with their baby.

This was the perfect place for our stay and experience of Madrid! La Latina is a very lively area with several plazas loaded with restaurants within a few minutes wander. Calle Buja is close which is a long street lined with Tapas bars. The apartment itself is in a very quiet spot as only a pedestrian street so no traffic or horns just the off voice drifting up. The access is via a flight of steps on the street level to the door then 10 steps to the elevator. Apartment on the second floor so elevator was appreciated for luggage and tired legs. Apartment is delightful with original wooden shutters opening to a private view of rooftops and steeple. Compact kitchen and bathroom but all you needed. Seperate bedroom, comfortable bed. Air conditioning in both areas but we didn't need to use it for our October stay. We were able to walk comfortably everywhere! Only used Uber from airport 25 Euro and to train station 7 Euro. We felt completely safe in Madrid everyone is walking at all times.

The apartment is very cozy and we were delighted with the comfort of the place, its excellent location and above all the attention we had from Rodrigo and Sergio. During our stay, they were good hosts, they were attentive to any questions we had, they were always in constant communication and when we arrived they had a very kind gesture by leaving us some snacks. The neighbourhood is safe, quiet and close to many places of interest, supermarkets, and the metro.

I enjoyed my stay here. True to the pictures, it was light & bright, good vibes, private. A nice quiet location, but still very central, felt safe. Stayed cool without needing A/C, despite mid-30s Madrid temperatures. No fuss check-in & check-out, friendly hosts. I asked for the place to be fragrance-free & it truly was, so I can recommend this place for people with MCS/fragrance intolerance! Very grateful for that as can be hard to find. The kitchen was just well equipped enough for cooking. Only thing different would have liked was a lamp in the bedroom!

The apartment is exactly like in the pictures. The location is great, you can do almost everything on foot, there are plenty of restaurants nearby and public transportation. Communication has always been fast and effective. Just a warning for those who are traveling with a baby, as we did: there are stairs at both street entrances and although there is an elevator in the building, there are stairs to access it as well, nothing impossible but it was just a little more work, otherwise, I would definitely stay there again!

Good and clean apartment, but it's an old apartment that could use some fixing up. Another basic is to leave coffee capsules with a coffee maker. The TV could be bigger. The keys are in a different room than the one listed in the ad.

The location of this apartment is ideal. It is very close to public transportation (bus and metro), but many of the main tourist attractions are within walking distance as well. The apartment faces a small pedestrian walkway, so the noise was minimal for an apartment so centrally located. The host was very responsive and very hospitable. We did have a couple of issues with amenities, but the host was extremely apologetic and dealt with the problems as quickly as possible. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Sergio was wonderful - very responsive and proactive. He communicated with me efficiently and kindly on all my questions. The check in process was extremely clear and smooth. The apartment was very nice, if a bit smaller than expected, very clean and agreeable. Comfortable bed, nice windows and light. The AC was not working well so it got hot at times and the water for the shower was very slow to heat up but these were smalll issues so I didn’t bother Sergio with them. Overall wonderful stay in my favorite area of Madrid! Five stars. Thank you Sergio!

The place was great, albeit the photos definitely make it seem larger but it had everything we needed. In order to get to the front door, there are stairs on either side. So just take note in case, like me, you have a heavy suitcase, toddler and a stroller. Rodrigo was great and helped us get inside and helping with my suitcase. The floor is really creaky, so I was nervous about my toddler was running round. But both nights there I barely heard other neighbors. Occasionally heard the keypad downstairs if I had the windows open. It worked well for us and our short trip to Madrid. Would stay here again!

The apartement is located on a very small quite street, where you can relax after a long day at the busy streets of Madrid. In the apartement you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staircase was clean and the neighbours were quite. Apartement has some small issues, but overall we enjoyed our stay and the neighbourhood. Sergio was very responsive and friendly. For the price I would definetly recommend.

The apartment is in a great area, very close to the centre but on a quiet pedestrian side street. Lots of the restaurants/ cafes we wanted to go to were really nearby. The apartment itself is OK - not high spec, but alright for a short stay. The weather was cold when we stayed, but the Aircon heating was very effective at warming the apartment. For some reason the check-in information (lockbox combo/ entry code) was not shared in the Airbnb app, so I had to chase them via Whatspp in the end - if you have any problems, they were responsive there. The hosts asked me not to put any negative feedback in the review, but to share it via message with them instead - I didn't like this.

flat was well equipped, comfy settee and bed. the big let down for me was that he had no decent pillows, I asked if he could get me a normal size pillow which he said he would but they never materialised . I ended up in pain due to the pillows being like small cushions with no support for my shoulder and neck. he also wanted money to let me in the flat and was very insistent in his emails that I give him 5 stars. I don't like being pressured into giving what I thought was not good enough service.

The apartment is ideally placed an easy walking distance from the Plaza Mayor and plenty of restaurants and bars and yet the apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood of good quality old traditional houses many of which are converted to apartments. The apartment is well appointed clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Our hosts were keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay both in the apartment and of course in Madrid. Very happy to recommend it for short or long stays.

A great place for a couple who want to explore Madrid - close to all sights (the great squares, the Palace, even Retiro, Prado and Reina Sofia are at walkable distances), restaurants, markets and more. Sergio and the team were very helpful and responsive. We had clear instructions for check-in. The location is alright, however the flat was older than it looked in photos. We were not really satisfied price/performance wise, expected better conditions (heating is with A/C, you have to wait for hot water, bed was small for 2 people and not very comfy etc.). Sergio has been a great host: he has initiative, proposes plans, pending everything, gives clear instructions. Small incident with the cleaning person, he had forgotten to bring clean linens, we understood that for the next guests. We politely replied to Sergio that we were going to do tourism without fixed schedules and that we did not want anyone to come in while our belongings, there was no problem. On the one hand, apartment strengths: its location, very comfortable mattress, fast WiFi, good brand hair dryer. On the other hand, we highlighted the dirt of the floor: the oven could not be used, full of grease, crumbs, broken gums; the bell full of grease; the chairs gave us a hurry to use them, full of dust; the fridge smelled bad; the sofa was full of stains; for 4 nights we were given a medium towel for each and one for the hands, which seemed scarce. Thanks to Sergio, we hope our opinion will serve constructively.

Tapas and tinto de verano at Art Quitectura (next door) was the highlight of the trip. Amazing location, close to everything! The place is new to AirBnB, but pretty much complete. There are few things that can use improvement, but everything else worked out great for what we need. Sergio and Miguel communicated with us quickly, there was a bit of a problem with the Internet but they solved it right away and even offered us free breakfast which was quite nice. The place is also quite spacious - we recommend this place.
