'Festa do Banho' (29 August)
Please note that each year on 29 August Lagos celebrates the traditional 'Festa do Banho', which includes historical recreations, food and drinks, traditional swimwear parades and lots of musical entertainment.
This is a great way to experience the local culture.
The location for this event is usually on the beach directly opposite the block where this apartment is situated - which means that you will have a great view of the party and will be able to experience the wonderful atmosphere - but keep in mind that there will be loud music from the party.
The 'Festa do Banho' takes place on 1 night only (29 August).
However, other events may take place before that date.
Please take this into consideration if you are intending to stay in this apartment at the end of August.

"We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful Lagos apartment. The location is truly unbeatable, with a fantastic beach right across the street and the charming Old Town just a stone's throw away. This property was amazing: spacious, clean and so centrally located to everything! The private balcony overlooked Praia da Batata directly across the road. To the left, we were in old town in minutes and to the right, a short walk from the beginning of the Ponta da Piedade. Location was perfect for tourists! The property was spacious and very clean with a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely bathroom and a large sitting and dining area! Sean and his colleagues were very responsive in their communication. Parking was easy and secure! We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Sean is very professional and knowledgeable. The apartment was perfect ! Clean, great views and very comfortable. Great location , walking distance to beaches and town. We plan to visit every year in hopes there will be availability. A must stay!
