Marta was extremely gracious and helpful. She helped us coordinate picking up tickets we purchased for the Real Madrid futbol game. She was also very flexible about checking in and checking out which was extremely helpful. We had a great time in Madrid visiting with our daughter.

Plaza Mayor is very close, and the location is very good.The host also recommended places, so I enjoyed a variety of restaurants and cafes. The beds and sofa beds were large, so I could sleep comfortably.There were also plenty of kitchen utensils, so I was able to enjoy cooking for myself. I am grateful to the host for a pleasant time.

Stayed 5 nights in Madrid. The apartment is very basic. The pictures not quite as shown on listing, but things do change. Windows do look out into a 'inner courtyard' which is just a hollow between the apartments to hang clothes. There is no where to put your clothes, yes there is a wardrobe to hang stuff but no drawers. Therefore lived out of our suitcases which were spread out on the sofa. The Metro, restaurants & groceries all very close & neighbourhood very quiet, so that was good. This apartment was not suitable for us (we are seniors). I would say a 1 or 2 night stay it would be okay. As for host, Marta was very responsive and very quick to answer our questions. .

We loved the apartment from our first arrival. Well appointed, plenty of kitchen equipment and china/cutlery. Comfortable furnishings. Comfortable bed. And very peaceful which was important to us. The location is exceptional. Really close to Mercado San Miguel which we love to visit for tapas and a glass of wine. Great shops close by for food, bread, cafes and bars. We would choose to stay here again on our next visit to Madrid.

    The main tenant, who makes the reservation, is responsible for all accompanying guests. As of 2025, this property cannot accommodate tenants coming to Madrid solely for tourism. We can only host groups whose main tenant declares a purpose other than tourism: professional, work-related, academic, teaching, medical, congress attendance, cultural, remote work, etc. For this reason, we must sign a contract stating the purpose of the stay. No further explanation is required. The contract must be kept in the apartment and shown upon request. Additionally: Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of the contract and immediate eviction without refund. If a private security guard or the police must come to the apartment, we will charge €250 for the call-out service. Please respect your neighbors’ rest. Do not make noise in the stairwells or inside the apartment: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. There is a noise law in Madrid, with cash fines exceeding €300 per person. It is prohibited to leave garbage in the apartment. Every night, there are grey bins with orange lids on the street. Use the yellow lid for packaging, and the brown lid for organic waste. The last night is especially important. Taking garbage out in the morning is not allowed. If we must remove it ourselves, the cost is €25. If you cook, you must clean the utensils you used. Towels are for personal drying only. They are not cloths or wipes for makeup or shoes. The cost of unusable towels due to misuse is €20. Clothes may not be hung on balconies or exterior windows. Use the drying racks provided. For rentals of 28 days or more, the tenant will be responsible for utility costs exceeding €100 (electricity, water, gas, heating, air conditioning...). Only declared tenants may enter the property. The presence of unauthorized individuals is grounds for immediate termination of the contract and eviction. In compliance with national security law, we are required—because it is mandatory—to collect guests' information to submit it to the police. We will require a photo of an official ID. For self check-ins, a selfie is also required. Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. The fine is €300 out of respect for others. If keys are lost, we must change the lock. The cost is €120. A welcome pack is provided and usually lasts two days. We do not supply items for the entire stay. It includes: shower gel, kitchen cloth, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom). We can offer late check-in, but we have decided to charge: €20 from 21:00 to 22:00, €30 from 22:00 to 00:00, €50 from 00:00 to 01:00, and €100 after 01:00. If the tenant violates the rules, they acknowledge that they lose the right to remain in the apartment and will not receive any refund.

Property Manager Terms

  • For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
  • Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
