Place was amazing. Right next to the plaza Mayor and on top of the oldest restaurant in the world. “Botin” 300 years. Marta provides a link with great recommendations. I’ll come back next year. Thanks Marta

The location is great, right outside of Plaza Mayor...but given the location it is very loud as the windows are thin. But it is only the front bedroom where you need a noise machine or ear plugs to drown out the late night partiers. The other two back bedrooms are quiet. Marta was great to communicate with, replied very quickly. We found everything to be in good working order. The only thing that was less than perfect was the condition of the apartment, it shows signs of wear, as another reviewer had noted, but everything is clean and again in good working order. And we used it all, the fridge, the oven, the microwave, the dishwasher and the washer! We enjoyed our stay, and the value for dollar was very good.

The location was the primary reason we picked this airbnb. It was so close to the plaza and walk-able to most of the destinations we were heading to! Overall we would likely stay here again if we visited Madrid. The kitchen was spacious. The dining room table was nice. The living room was comfortable and had enough seating for all 7 of us. The showers had plenty of hot water and great pressure. There were fans available in each room. The balconies and windows provided good airflow. The exterior door took a lot of force to open. Only 1 of the bedrooms had air conditioning, it would have been nice if all 3 had air conditioning. There were only enough towels for each of us. So if you like extra towels I would consider bring extra for your hands & doing dishes.

A great apartment in the city center, we did everything on foot, ideal for two families Two super practical bathrooms A little noisy on the street, but logical because it's right in the center.

    The main tenant, who makes the reservation, is responsible for all accompanying guests. As of 2025, this property cannot accommodate tenants coming to Madrid solely for tourism. We can only host groups whose main tenant declares a purpose other than tourism: professional, work-related, academic, teaching, medical, congress attendance, cultural, remote work, etc. For this reason, we must sign a contract stating the purpose of the stay. No further explanation is required. The contract must be kept in the apartment and shown upon request. Additionally: Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of the contract and immediate eviction without refund. If a private security guard or the police must come to the apartment, we will charge €250 for the call-out service. Please respect your neighbors’ rest. Do not make noise in the stairwells or inside the apartment: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. There is a noise law in Madrid, with cash fines exceeding €300 per person. It is prohibited to leave garbage in the apartment. Every night, there are grey bins with orange lids on the street. Use the yellow lid for packaging, and the brown lid for organic waste. The last night is especially important. Taking garbage out in the morning is not allowed. If we must remove it ourselves, the cost is €25. If you cook, you must clean the utensils you used. Towels are for personal drying only. They are not cloths or wipes for makeup or shoes. The cost of unusable towels due to misuse is €20. Clothes may not be hung on balconies or exterior windows. Use the drying racks provided. For rentals of 28 days or more, the tenant will be responsible for utility costs exceeding €100 (electricity, water, gas, heating, air conditioning...). Only declared tenants may enter the property. The presence of unauthorized individuals is grounds for immediate termination of the contract and eviction. In compliance with national security law, we are required—because it is mandatory—to collect guests' information to submit it to the police. We will require a photo of an official ID. For self check-ins, a selfie is also required. Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. The fine is €300 out of respect for others. If keys are lost, we must change the lock. The cost is €120. A welcome pack is provided and usually lasts two days. We do not supply items for the entire stay. It includes: shower gel, kitchen cloth, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom). We can offer late check-in, but we have decided to charge: €20 from 21:00 to 22:00, €30 from 22:00 to 00:00, €50 from 00:00 to 01:00, and €100 after 01:00. If the tenant violates the rules, they acknowledge that they lose the right to remain in the apartment and will not receive any refund.
